< Ezekiel 21 >

1 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
Dia tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
2 “Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel.
Ry zanak’ olona, manandrifia an’ i Jerosalema, ary mitenena manandrify ny fitoerana masìna, ka maminania ny amin’ ny hamelezana ny tanin’ ny Isiraely.
3 Tell the land of Israel, ‘Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
Ary ataovy amin’ ny tanin’ ny Isiraely hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Indro, Izaho no mamely anao, ary hotsoahako amin’ ny tranony ny sabatro, ka haringako ny marina sy ny meloka eo aminao.
4 Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore my sword will go out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.
Ary noho ny handringanako ny marina sy ny meloka eo aminao, dia izany no hitsoahan’ ny sabatro amin’ ny tranony hamely ny nofo rehetra hatrany atsimo ka hatrany avaratra,
5 All flesh will know that I, Yahweh, have drawn my sword out of its sheath. It will not return any more.”’
Ka dia ho fantatry ny nofo rehetra fa Izaho Jehovah no nanatsoaka ny sabatro tamin’ ny tranony; Tsy hiditra intsony izy.
6 “Therefore sigh, you son of man. You shall sigh before their eyes with a broken heart and with bitterness.
Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, midridridridria toy ny tapa-balahana, eny, midridridridria amin’ ny fangidiana eo imasony.
7 It shall be, when they ask you, ‘Why do you sigh?’ that you shall say, ‘Because of the news, for it comes! Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord Yahweh.’”
Ary raha izy manao aminao hoe: Nahoana ianao no midridridridry? Dia valio hoe: Noho ny teny efa re, fa ho avy izany, ho kivy ny fo rehetra, hiraviravy ny tanana rehetra, ary hivarahontsana ny fanahy rehetra, sady hanjary ho toy ny rano ny lohalika rehetra. Eny, ho avy izany ka ho tanteraka, hoy Jehovah Tompo;
8 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
Dia tonga tamiko ay tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
9 “Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘Yahweh says: “A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.
Ry zanak’ olona, maminania, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Injao! sabatra! sabatra re! Voaranitra sady voafotsy koa.
10 It is sharpened that it may make a slaughter. It is polished that it may be as lightning. Should we then make mirth? The rod of my son condemns every tree.
Voaranitra hahafaty be izy; Voafotsy hanelatselatra izy (Sa isika hifaly hoe: Ny tsorakazon’ ny zanako mamingavinga ny hazo rehetra?)
11 It is given to be polished, that it may be handled. The sword is sharpened. Yes, it is polished to give it into the hand of the killer.”’
Ary nomena hofotsiana izy Mba horaisin-tanana; Voaranitra io sabatra io sady voafotsy, Mba hatolotra eo an-tanan’ ny mpamono.
12 Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people. It is on all the princes of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with my people. Therefore beat your thigh.
Mitomania sy midradradradrà, ry zanak’ olona! Fa mihatra amin’ ny oloko izany, dia amin’ ny lehibe rehetra amin’ ny Isiraely; Lavon’ ny sabatra miaraka amin’ ny oloko izy, koa misafoa sirana ianao;
13 “For there is a trial. What if even the rod that condemns will be no more?” says the Lord Yahweh.
Fa vita ny fizahan-toetra, Ka manao ahoana, raha ilay tehim-panjakana namingavinga iny aza no ho tonga tsinontsinona? hoy Jehovah Tompo.
14 “You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and strike your hands together. Let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the fatally wounded. It is the sword of the great one who is fatally wounded, which enters into their rooms.
Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, dia maminania, ka mitehafa tanana, ary aoka hihaloza roa heny, na telo heny aza, ny sabatra, dia ny sabatra izay efa nahatrabaka olona; Eny, ny sabatra izay efa nahatrabaka ny andriana no manemitra azy.
15 I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied. Ah! It is made as lightning. It is pointed for slaughter.
Nahebihebiko teny amin’ ny vavahadiny rehetra ny sabatra, mba hahakivy ny fo sy hahatonga fahatafintohinana maro. Indrisy! nataoko nanelatselatra izy sady voaranitra hamono.
16 Gather yourselves together. Go to the right. Set yourselves in array. Go to the left, wherever your face is set.
Miomana, ka mandrosoa eo ankavanana ianao, mijoroa, ka mandrosoa eo an-kavia, amin’ izay voatendry hamelezanao na aiza na aiza.
17 I will also strike my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest. I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”
Hiteha-tanana koa Aho ary hiala fo; Izaho Jehovah no nilaza izany.
18 Yahweh’s word came to me again, saying,
Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah hoe:
19 “Also, you son of man, appoint two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come. They both will come out of one land, and mark out a place. Mark it out at the head of the way to the city.
Hianao, ry zanak’ olona, manaova lalana roa ho anao hihavian’ ny sabatry ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona; avy amin’ ny tany iray no hihavian’ izy roa; ka manaova sarin’ ny famantaran-dalana, eo an-tsampanan-dalana mankany amin’ ny tanàna no anaovinao azy.
20 You shall appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.
Manaova lalana hihavian’ ny sabatra ho any Raban’ ny taranak’ i Amona sy ho any ny Joda ao Jerosalema mimanda.
21 For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination. He shook the arrows back and forth. He consulted the teraphim. He looked in the liver.
Fa ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona mijanona eo amin’ ny sampanan-dalana, dia eo an-dohan’ ny lalana roa, mba hanao sikidy; dia manetsiketsika ny zana-tsipìka izy ary manontany amin’ ny sampy sy mizaha amin’ ny atin-kena.
22 In his right hand was the lot for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, and to build forts.
Mby eo an-tànany ankavanana ny sikidy, dia ny ho an’ i Jerosalema, mba hametraka lohondry vy fandravana, hisoka-bava hiantsoantso, hanandra-peo amin’ ny akoran’ ady, hametraka lohondry vy fandravana eo akaikin’ ny vavahady, hanandratra tovon-tany sy tilikambo.
23 It will be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings iniquity to memory, that they may be taken.
Nefa tahaka ny sikidy lainga izany eo imason’ ireny izay efa nianiana mafy, nefa Jehovah no mampahatsiaro ny helony mba hisamborana azy.
24 “Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Because you have caused your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because you have come to memory, you will be taken with the hand.
Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Noho ny nampahatsiarovanareo ny helokareo tamin’ ny nampiharihariana ny fahadisoanareo mba hampisehoana ny fahotanareo tamin’ izay rehetra nataonareo, noho ny nahatsiarovana anareo dia hosamborin-tanana ianareo.
25 “‘You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,
Ary ianao, ry ilay ratsy fanahy voatrabaka, dia ilay mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, izay tapitra andro amin’ ny fotoan’ ny heloka mahafaty,
26 the Lord Yahweh says: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown. This will not be as it was. Exalt that which is low, and humble that which is high.
izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo Hesorina ny hamama, ary halàna ny satro-boninahitra, tsy ho ao intsony ireo; hasandratra ny iva, ary haetry ny avo.
27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn it. This also will be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it.”’
Havadiko, havadiko, havadiko izany; fa izany koa aza dia tsy mba haharitra mandra-pahatongan’ izay tena tompony tokoa, ka homeko azy izany.
28 “You, son of man, prophesy and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach: “A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;
Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, dia maminania, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Ny amin’ ny taranak’ i Amona sy ny latsa ataony, dia ataovy hoe: Indro sabatra! Dia sabatra voatsoaka hamono! Voafotsy handringana sy hanelatselatra izy
29 while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.
(Raha mahita zava-poana ho anao izy sy maminany lainga aminao) Handavoany anao ao amin’ ny vozon’ ny ratsy fanahy voatrabaka, Izay tapitra andro amin’ ny fotoan’ ny heloka mahafaty.
30 Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your birth, I will judge you.
Ampidiro amin’ ny tranony izy. Any amin’ ny tany namoronana anao, dia any amin’ ny tany nahaterahanao, no hitsarako anao.
31 I will pour out my indignation on you. I will blow on you with the fire of my wrath. I will deliver you into the hand of brutish men, skillful to destroy.
Ary haidiko aminao ny fahavinirako, ny afon’ ny fahatezerako no hotsofiko aminao, ka hatolotro eo an-tànan’ ny olona ketrina.
32 You will be for fuel to the fire. Your blood will be in the middle of the land. You will be remembered no more; for I, Yahweh, have spoken it.”’”
Sy izay mpamorona fandringanana ianao, Dia ho kitain’ ny afo ianao; Ho eny amin’ ny tany ny rànao; Tsy hotsaroana ianao; Fa Izaho Jehovah no niteny izany.
