2 Peter 3
1 This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you
Achambusanga ŵangu, achichi chili chikalata chaaŵili chingunnembela mwanya. Mu ikalata iŵili yo liinjile kusijimusya nganisyo syenu syambone kwa kunkumbusya indu yi.
2 that you should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets and the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior,
Ngusaka nkumbuchile maloŵe gaŵagaŵechete kalakala ŵakulondola ŵaswela ŵa Akunnungu, ni lilajisyo lya Ambuje ni Nkulupusyo limpegwilwe ni achinduna ŵenu.
3 knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts
Chikanaŵe chachili chose mmanyilile kuti moŵa gambesi chaiche ŵandu ŵakulongoswa ni misese jao jangalumbana, nombewo chachimpanganyichisya ya chipongwe,
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
achitiji, “Ŵalanjile kuti chaiche! Ana sambano ali kwapi? Pakuŵa chitandile lyuŵa liŵawile achambuje ŵetu, indu yose ili ilaila chitandile kugumbikwa chilambo.”
5 For they willfully forget that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water by the word of God,
Pakuŵa ŵandu ŵa akuliŵalila melepe kuti kalakala Akunnungu paŵaŵechete liloŵe pe kwinani ni chilambo yagumbikwe. Ni ŵachigumbile chilambo kutyochela mmesi ni kwa meesi,
6 by which means the world that existed then, being overflowed with water, perished.
ni kwa malajisyo ga Akunnungu, chilambo cha ndanda chila chajonanjikwe kwa chikumbameesi.
7 But the heavens that exist now and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Nambo kwinani kwa sambano ni chilambo iŵichikwe kwa Liloŵe lya Akunnungu ligongo lya kujonanjikwa kwa mooto. Iŵichikwe mpaka lyuŵa lya kulamulikwa ni konanjikwa kwa ŵandu ŵangakwalamba Akunnungu.
8 But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Nambo, ŵakunonyelwa ŵangu, ngasinliŵalila chindu chimo chati, kwa Ambuje, lyuŵa limo lili nti yaka elufu moja ni yaka elufu moja nti lyuŵa limo.
9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Ambuje ngakukaŵa kuchitimisya chilanga chao mpela ŵane yakuti kuganisya kuti chakaŵe. Ŵelewo akwete upililiu kukwenu, pakuŵa ngakusaka hata mundu jumo ajonanjikwe nambo kuti wose aleche sambi.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat; and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Nambo lyuŵa lya Ambuje chiliiche chisisimuchile mpela kwika kwa jwawii, pa lyuŵa lyo kwinani chikutyoche kwa chisindo chachikulungwa ni indu yose yaili kwinani mpela ila lyuŵa, ni ndondwa ni lilanguka lineline chiijonanjikwe kwa mooto. Chilambo chino ni indi yose yaili mwelemo chijonanjikwe.
11 Therefore, since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness,
Pakuŵa indu yose chijonanjikwe kwanti yele, ana nkusachilwa ŵanyamwe kuŵa ŵandu ŵanti uli? Nkusachilwa ntameje mu uswela ni kwalamba Akunnungu,
12 looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
nchilindililaga Lyuŵa lya Akunnungu ni kulitenda liiche kwakwanguya, pa lyele lyuŵa lyo kwinani chikutiniswe kwa mooto ni konanjikwa ni indu yose yaili kwinani chiinyelenduche.
13 But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
Nambo malinga ni chilanga chao, tukulolela kwinani kwasambano ni chilambo chasambano mwati jwalijose akuipanganya yaili yambone paujo pa Akunnungu.
14 Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.
Kwayele achambusanga ŵangu, nchilolelaga Lyuŵa lyo, nlilimbisye kuti mmoneche ŵaswela ni ŵangali chileŵo paujo pa Akunnungu ni kutama nawo kwa chitendewele.
15 Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you,
Ni ŵanyamwe nkumbuchile kuti upililiu wa Ambuje ŵetu uli lipesa lyakumpa kuti nkulupuswe, mpela njetu che Paolo iŵatite pakunnembela kwa lunda lwapegwilwe ni Akunnungu.
16 as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Gele ni gaŵaŵechete mu ikalata yao yose pakukunguluchila indu yo. Mu ikalata yao kwana indu impepe yakulimba kuimanyilila, indu yati ŵandu ŵakuloŵela ni ŵandu ŵakugalaukagalauka akuilyungasya mpela yakuti kugagalausya Malembelo ga Akunnungu gane. Kwayele akuliulaga achinsyene.
17 You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
Nambo ŵanyamwe achambusanga ŵangu, mmasile kuimanyilila chile ayi. Nlilolechesye kuti nkalyungasikwa ni uwonasi wa majiganyo gangalumbana ga ŵandu ŵangakugajitichisya malajisyo kuti nkagwa kutyochela mu aila indu inkuikulupilila.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Nambo njendelechele kukula mu umbone wa Akunnungu, ni iyoyo mu nkwamanyilila Ambuje ni Nkulupusyo jwetu Che Yesu Kilisito. Kwa ŵelewo uŵe ukulu sambano namose moŵa gose pangali mbesi! Eloo. (aiōn g165)
The Great Flood
