1 Kings 7
1 Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
१शलमोनाला स्वत: साठी महाल बांधण्यास तेरा वर्षे लागली.
2 For he built the House of the Forest of Lebanon. Its length was one hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on the pillars.
२त्याने लबानोनगृह वनातील घरही बांधले. त्याची लांबी शंभर हात, रूंदी पन्नास हात व उंची तीस हात होती. ती ईमारत गंधसरुच्या स्तंभाच्या चार रांगावर असून प्रत्येक स्तंभावर गंधसरूच्या तुळ्या ठेवल्या होत्या.
3 It was covered with cedar above over the forty-five beams that were on the pillars, fifteen in a row.
३त्यावर छत म्हणून गंधसरुच्या लाकडाची पाटण होती. प्रत्येक ओळीत पंधरा खांब अशा पंचेचाळीस खांबांवर तुळ्या होत्या.
4 There were beams in three rows, and window was facing window in three ranks.
४तिन्ही मजल्यावर तुळ्या असून भिंतींवर समोरासमोर येतील अशा खिडक्यांच्या तीन ओळी होत्या.
5 All the doors and posts were made square with beams; and window was facing window in three ranks.
५दोन्ही टोकांना तीन तीन दरवाजे होते. दाराची कवाडे आणि चौकटी काटकोन चौकोनात होत्या.
6 He made the hall of pillars. Its length was fifty cubits and its width thirty cubits, with a porch before them, and pillars and a threshold before them.
६शलमोनाने एक द्वारमंडपही उभारला होता. हा राजासनाचा मंडप पन्नास हात लांब आणि तीस हात रुंद होता. दर्शनी बाजूला आधार देणाऱ्या स्तंभाची रांग होती.
7 He made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment; and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.
७मग सिंहासनावर बसून न्यायनिवाडा करण्यासाठी त्याने एक दालन बांधून घेतले. त्यास त्याने “न्यायासनाचा मंडप” असे नाव दिले होते. हे दालनही जमिनीपासून छतापर्यंत गंधसरुच्या लाकडाने आच्छादलेले होते.
8 His house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the same construction. He made also a house for Pharaoh’s daughter (whom Solomon had taken as wife), like this porch.
८याच्याच आतल्या बाजूला त्याचे घर होते. त्याची बांधणी न्यायासनाच्या मंडपासारखीच होती. मिसरच्या फारो राजाची कन्या म्हणजे शलमोनची पत्नी हिच्यासाठीही त्याने असाच महाल बांधून घेतला.
9 All these were of costly stones, even of stone cut according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.
९या सर्व इमारतींच्या बांधकामात किंमती दगडी चिरे वापरले होते. पुढून मागून घासून ते करवतीने योग्य मापाने कातले होते. पायापासून वळचणीपर्यंत त्यांचाच वापर केला होता. अंगणाभोवतालच्या भिंतीही याच बहुमूल्य दगडांनी बांधल्या होत्या.
10 The foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits and stones of eight cubits.
१०पायासाठी वापरलेले चिरेही असेच प्रशस्त व भारी होते. काहींची लांबी आठ व इतरांची दहा हात होती.
11 Above were costly stones, even cut stone, according to measure, and cedar wood.
११त्यांच्यावर आणखी चांगल्या प्रतीचे चिरे आणि गंधसरुचे वासे होते.
12 The great court around had three courses of cut stone with a course of cedar beams, like the inner court of Yahweh’s house and the porch of the house.
१२महाल, मंदिर आणि द्वारमंडप यांच्या सभोवती भिंत होती. तिला दगडांच्या तीन चिऱ्या आणि गंधसरुच्या लाकडाची एक ओळ परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराचे आतले अंगण व त्या मंदिराची देवडी यांच्याप्रमाणे ही रचना होती.
13 King Solomon sent and brought Hiram out of Tyre.
१३राजा शलमोनाने सोराहून (तायरहून) हिराम नावाच्या मनुष्यास निरोप पाठवून यरूशलेम येथे बोलावून घेतले.
14 He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill to work all works in bronze. He came to King Solomon and performed all his work.
१४हिरामची आई नफताली वंशातील होती. त्याचे वडिल सोराचे (तायरचे) होते. ते चांगले तांबट कारागीर होते. हिराम हा एक ज्ञानाने, बुद्धीने, आणि कसबी तांबट होता. म्हणून शलमोन राजाने त्यालाच बोलावून घेतले. त्यानेही हे आमंत्रण स्विकारले. राजाने हिरामला सर्व पितळी कारागिरीवरील प्रमुख म्हणून नेमले. हिरामने पितळेपासून बनवलेल्या सर्व वस्तू घडविल्या.
15 For he fashioned the two pillars of bronze, eighteen cubits high apiece; and a line of twelve cubits encircled either of them.
१५हिरामने दोन पितळी स्तंभ घडवले. ते स्तंभ अठरा हात उंचीचे होते. त्या प्रत्येकाला वेढावयास बारा हात दोरी लागे.
16 He made two capitals of molten bronze to set on the tops of the pillars. The height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.
१६शिवाय त्याने त्या खांबाच्या शेंड्यावर बसवण्यासाठी पितळेच दोन ओतीव कळस केले. त्या एकाएका कळसाची उंची पाच पाच हात होती.
17 There were nets of checker work and wreaths of chain work for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars: seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
१७या खांबाच्या घुमटांना आच्छादण्यासाठी दोन जाळीदार, साखळीची आच्छादने केली. एकाला सात व दुसऱ्याला सात.
18 So he made the pillars; and there were two rows of pomegranates around the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and he did so for the other capital.
१८याप्रकारे त्याने खांब तयार करून त्यांच्या शेडंयावर प्रत्येक कळसास झाकण्यासाठी जाळ्यांच्या एका रांगेवर डाळिंबाच्या दोन रांगा केल्या.
19 The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, four cubits.
१९जे कळस देवडीच्या खांबांच्या शेंड्यांवर होते त्यांच्या चार हात जागेत कमळांचे काम केले होते.
20 There were capitals above also on the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network. There were two hundred pomegranates in rows around the other capital.
२०हे घुमट स्तंभावर बसविलेले होते. परडीच्या आकाराच्या जाळीवर ते बसवले होते. या सगळ्या कळसांच्या भोवती रांगेने दोनशे डाळिंबे लावली होती.
21 He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple. He set up the right pillar and called its name Jachin; and he set up the left pillar and called its name Boaz.
२१हे दोन पितळी स्तंभ हिरामने द्वारमंडपाशी लावले. दक्षिणेकडील खांबाला याखीन (तो स्थापील) आणि उत्तरे कडील खांबाला बवाज (त्याच्या ठायी सामर्थ्य) असे नाव ठेवले.
22 On the tops of the pillars was lily work. So the work of the pillars was finished.
२२कमळाच्या आकाराचे कळस या खांबांवर चढवले आणि या दोन स्तंभाचे काम संपले.
23 He made the molten sea ten cubits from brim to brim, round in shape. Its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encircled it.
२३मग त्याने एक गंगाळसागर ओतविला होता, त्याचा काठाकडला व्यास दहा हात होता; त्याचा आकार गोल असून त्याची उंची पाच हात होती व त्यास वेढायला तीस हात दोरी लागत असे.
24 Under its brim around there were buds which encircled it for ten cubits, encircling the sea. The buds were in two rows, cast when it was cast.
२४या हौदाच्या कडेल्या बाहेरच्या बाजूला एक पट्टी बसवली होती. तिच्याखाली पितळी रानकाकड्यांच्या दोन रांगा होत्या. या काकड्या हौदाचाच एक भाग म्हणून एकसंधपणे करून घेतल्या होत्या.
25 It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set on them above, and all their hindquarters were inward.
२५बारा पितळी बैलांच्या पाठीवर हा हौद विसावलेला होता. बैलांची तोंडे बाहेरच्या बाजूला होती. तिघांची तोंडे उत्तरेला, तिघांची दक्षिणेला, तिघांची पूर्वेला आणि तिघांची पश्चिमेला होती.
26 It was a hand width thick. Its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily. It held two thousand baths.
२६हौदाची जाडी वितभर होती; आणि वरची कड कटोऱ्याच्या कडेसारखी अथवा कमळफुलासारखी उमललेली होती. यामध्ये दोन हजार बथ पाणी मावत असे.
27 He made the ten bases of bronze. The length of one base was four cubits, four cubits its width, and three cubits its height.
२७मग हिरामने दहा पितळी चौरंग बनवले. प्रत्येक चौरंग चार हात लांब, चार हात रुंद आणि तीन हात उंच होते.
28 The work of the bases was like this: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;
२८चौरंग याप्रकारे बनविण्यात आले होते; त्यास पत्रे लावलेले होते आणि या पत्र्यास सभोवार कंगोरे होते.
29 and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
२९पितळी पत्रे आणि चौकट यांच्यावर सिंह, बैल व करुब देवदूत यांचे कोरीव काम होते. सिंह आणि बैल यांच्याखाली फुलांची वेलबुट्टी बसवलेली होती.
30 Every base had four bronze wheels and axles of bronze; and its four feet had supports. The supports were cast beneath the basin, with wreaths at the side of each.
३०प्रत्येक चौरंगाला पितळी धुऱ्यांवर पितळेची चारचार चाके लावलेली होती आणि चारही कोपऱ्यातून प्रशस्त घंगाळासाठी पितळी आधार दिलेले होते. त्यावरही फुलांचे सुबक काम केलेले होते.
31 Its opening within the capital and above was a cubit. Its opening was round like the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also on its opening were engravings, and their panels were square, not round.
३१कळसाच्या आतल्या बाजूपासून वरपर्यंत त्याचे तोंड एक हात उंच होते हे तोंड बैठकीसारखे असून त्याचा व्यास दीड हात होता, त्यावर काही कोरीव काम होते, त्याच्या पट्टया गोल नसून चौकोनी होत्या.
32 The four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axles of the wheels were in the base. The height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
३२चारही चाके पट्यांच्या खाली होती व प्रत्येक चाकाच्या धुऱ्या तळाशी जोडल्या होत्या, त्या प्रत्येक चाकाची उंची दीड हात होती.
33 The work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel. Their axles, their rims, their spokes, and their hubs were all of cast metal.
३३रथाच्या चाकांसारखी ही चाके होती. आणि त्याच्या धुऱ्या धावा, आरे आणि तुंबे असे सर्वकाही ओतीव पितळेचे होते.
34 There were four supports at the four corners of each base. Its supports were of the base itself.
३४प्रत्येक चौरंगाच्या चारही कोपऱ्यांना आधार दिलेले होते. तेही एकसंध होते.
35 In the top of the base there was a round band half a cubit high; and on the top of the base its supports and its panels were the same.
३५प्रत्येक चौरंगावर अर्धा हात उंच गोलाकार झाकण होते, व त्या झाकणाचे टेकावे व त्याच्या पट्टया ही चौरंगाशी अंखड होत्या.
36 On the plates of its supports and on its panels, he engraved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, each in its space, with wreaths all around.
३६चौरंगाची बाहेरची बाजू आणि चौकट यांच्यावर करुब देवदूत, सिंह, खजूरीची झाडे यांचे कोरीव काम पितळेचे केलेले होते. ही नक्षी अगदी भरगच्च असून त्यामध्ये कुठेही मोकळी जागा नव्हती. शिवाय भोवताली फुलांची नक्षी होती.
37 He made the ten bases in this way: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
३७हिरामने अशाप्रकारे अगदी एकसारखे एक असे दहा पितळी चौरंग घडवले. हे सर्व ओतीव काम होते त्यामुळे ते तंतोतंत एकसारखे होते.
38 He made ten basins of bronze. One basin contained forty baths. Every basin measured four cubits. One basin was on every one of the ten bases.
३८हिरामने अशीच दहा गंगाळे केली. ती या दहा चौरंगासाठी प्रत्येकी एक याप्रमाणे होती. प्रत्येक गंगाळाचा व्यास चार हात होतो. त्यामध्ये चाळीस बथ पाणी मावू शकत असे.
39 He set the bases, five on the right side of the house and five on the left side of the house. He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward and toward the south.
३९त्याने पाच बैठकी मंदिराच्या उत्तरेला आणि दक्षिणेला पाच व गंगाळसागर मंदिराच्या उजवीकडे पूर्व दिशेला ठेवल्या.
40 Hiram made the pots, the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram finished doing all the work that he worked for King Solomon in Yahweh’s house:
४०याखेरीज हिरामने वाडगी, पावडी, लहान गंगाळे बनवली. शलमोन राजाने सांगितले ते सर्व हिरामने केले. परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरासाठी हिरामने ज्या वस्तू घडवल्या
41 the two pillars; the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;
४१त्यांची यादी पुढीलप्रमाणे: दोन स्तंभ स्तंभाच्या कळसांवर बसवायच्या दोन घुमट्या त्यांच्या भोवतीच्या दोन जाळ्या
42 the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars;
४२या दोन जाळ्यांसाठी चारशे नक्षीदार डाळिंबे तयार केली खांबाच्या शेंडयावरील प्याल्याच्या आकाराचे कळसाचे भाग झाकावयाच्या जाळ्यासाठी या डाळींबाच्या दोन-दोन रांगा होत्या.
43 the ten bases; the ten basins on the bases;
४३दहा चौंरग व त्यांच्यावरील दहा गंगाळे,
44 the one sea; the twelve oxen under the sea;
४४एक गंगाळसागर व त्याच्याखालचे बारा बैल;
45 the pots; the shovels; and the basins. All of these vessels, which Hiram made for King Solomon in Yahweh’s house, were of burnished bronze.
४५याखेरीज हंडे, पातेली, पावडी अशी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरासाठी वेगवेगळी पात्रे शलमोन राजाच्या इच्छेखातर हिरामने बनवले. ते सर्व लखलखीत पितळेच होते.
46 The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
४६सुक्कोथ आणि सारतान यांच्यामध्ये यार्देन नदीच्या तीरावर असलेल्या मैदानावर शलमोन राजाने हे काम करायला सांगितले. पितळ वितळवून मातीच्या साच्यात हे ओतकाम करण्यात आले.
47 Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because there were so many of them. The weight of the bronze could not be determined.
४७या सगळ्यासाठी किती पितळ लागले ते शलमोन राजाने बघितले नाही. वजन करायचे म्हटले तरी ते खूपच होते. त्यामुळे या सर्व वस्तूंचे नक्की वजन कधीच माहीत झाले नाही.
48 Solomon made all the vessels that were in Yahweh’s house: the golden altar and the table that the show bread was on, of gold;
४८शलमोनाने परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरासाठी सोन्याच्याही कितीतरी वस्तू करवून घेतल्या. त्या अशा: सोन्याचे मेज (देवाची सोन्याची वेदी समर्पित भाकर ठेवण्यासाठी)
49 and the lamp stands, five on the right side and five on the left, in front of the inner sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
४९शुद्ध सोन्याच्या समया. (या परमपवित्र गाभाऱ्यासमोर उजवीडावीकडे पाच पाच लावलेल्या होत्या) सोन्याची फुले, दिवे आणि चिमटे ही सोन्याची करवली होती.
50 the cups, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.
५०पेले, कातरी, कटोरे, चमचे व धूपदाने ही शुद्ध सोन्याची करवली होती; तसेच मंदिराचा आतील भाग म्हणजे परमपवित्रस्थान यांचे दरवाजे व पवित्रस्थानाच्या दाराच्या बिजागऱ्या सोन्याच्या बनवल्या होत्या.
51 Thus all the work that King Solomon did in Yahweh’s house was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the vessels—and put them in the treasuries of Yahweh’s house.
५१परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराचे हे काम शलमोन राजाने स्वत: च्या हाती घेतले ते संपवले. मग आपले वडिल दावीद यांनी समर्पिलेले सोने, चांदी व पात्रे ही शलमोनाने आत आणून परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराच्या भांडारात ठेवली.
