Psalms 98

1 A Psalm. Sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.

Ein Psalm. Singet Jehova ein neues Lied! Denn er hat Wunder getan; Rettung hat ihm verschafft seine Rechte und sein heiliger Arm.

2 The LORD has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

Jehova hat kundgetan seine Rettung, vor den Augen der Nationen geoffenbart seine Gerechtigkeit.

3 He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Er hat seiner Güte und seiner Treue gedacht dem Hause Israel; alle Enden der Erde haben die Rettung unseres Gottes gesehen.

4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

Jauchzet Jehova, ganze Erde! Brechet in Jubel aus und singet Psalmen!

5 Sing praises to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody.

Singet Psalmen Jehova mit der Laute mit der Laute und der Stimme des Gesanges!

6 With trumpets and sound of the ram’s horn, make a joyful noise before the King, the LORD.

Mit Trompeten und dem Schall der Posaune jauchzet vor dem König Jehova!

7 Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

Es brause das Meer und seine Fülle, der Erdkreis und die darauf wohnen!

8 Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.

Mögen die Ströme in die Hände klatschen, mögen jubeln die Berge allzumal-

9 Let them sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

vor Jehova! Denn er kommt, die Erde zu richten: Er wird den Erdkreis richten in Gerechtigkeit und die Völker in Geradheit.
