< Psalms 3 >
1 A Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son. LORD, how my adversaries have increased! Many are those who rise up against me.
Rabbiyow, cadaawayaashaydu fara badanaa! Kuwa igu kacaa aad bay u badan yihiin.
2 Many there are who say of my soul, “There is no help for him in God.” (Selah)
Way badan yihiin kuwa naftayda wax ka sheegaa, iyagoo leh, Ilaah isaga caawin maayo. (Selaah)
3 But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
Laakiinse, Rabbiyow, adigu waxaad tahay gaashaan igu wareegsan, Iyo sharaftayda, iyo kan madaxayga kor u qaada.
4 I cry to the LORD with my voice, and he answers me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
Codkayga ayaan Rabbiga ugu qayliyaa, Oo isaguna wuxuu iiga jawaabaa buurtiisa quduuska ah. (Selaah)
5 I laid myself down and slept. I awakened, for the LORD sustains me.
Anigu waan jiifsaday oo waan iska seexday, Oo haddana waan soo toosay, waayo, Rabbiga ayaa i xannaaneeya.
6 I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.
Ka baqi maayo dadka kumanyaalkaa, Oo gees kasta iga hareereeyey.
7 Arise, LORD! Save me, my God! For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone. You have broken the teeth of the wicked.
Kac, Rabbiyow, oo i badbaadi, Ilaahayow, Waayo, cadaawayaashaydii oo dhan waxaad ku dhufatay dhabanka, Oo kuwa sharka leh ilkahoodiina waad jejebisay.
8 Salvation belongs to the LORD. May your blessing be on your people. (Selah)
Badbaado waxaa leh Rabbiga, Barakadaadu dadkaaga ha ku soo degto. (Selaah)
