< Psalms 27 >

1 By David. The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
David ƒe ha. Yehowae nye nye kekeli kple nye ɖeɖe. Ame ka mavɔ̃? Yehowae nye mɔ sesẽ na nye agbe, ame ka adzi ŋɔ nam?
2 When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
Ne ame vɔ̃ɖiwo lũ ɖe dzinye be woavuvum, ne nye futɔwo kple nye ketɔwo lũ ɖe dzinye la, woakli nu adze anyi.
3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
Togbɔ be aʋakɔ gã aɖe ɖe to ɖem hã la, nye dzi mavɔ̃ o, togbɔ be wodze aʋa ɖe ŋunye hã la, azɔ koŋ dzi aɖo ƒonye.
4 One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
Nu ɖeka mebia Yehowa, esiae nye be manɔ Yehowa ƒe aƒe me le nye agbemeŋkekewo katã me, ne malé ŋku ɖe Yehowa ƒe nyonyo ŋu, eye madii le eƒe gbedoxɔ me.
5 For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
Elabena le xaxaɣiwo la, atsyɔ nu dzinye le eƒe nɔƒe la me; aɣlam ɖe eƒe agbadɔ ƒe bebeƒe, eye wòakɔm aɖo agakpe kɔkɔ aɖe dzi.
6 Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
Ekema nye ta akɔ dzi agbɔ nye futɔ siwo ƒo xlãm godoo la ta; matsɔ dzidzɔɣli asa vɔ nɛ le eƒe agbadɔ kɔkɔe la me. Madzi ha, eye maƒo saŋku na Yehowa.
7 Hear, LORD, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.
O! Yehowa, se nye gbe, ne meyɔ wò; kpɔ nublanui nam, eye nàtɔ nam.
8 When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, LORD.”
Nye dzi le gbɔgblɔm le ŋuwò be, “Di eƒe ŋkume!” Yehowa, wò ŋkumee madi.
9 Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.
Mègaɣla wò ŋkume ɖem o, mègatrɔ wò dɔla ɖo ɖa le dɔmedzoe me o, elabena wòe nye nye xɔnametɔ. O! Mawu, nye Ɖela, mègagbe nu le gbɔnye alo agblem ɖi o.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
Togbɔ be tɔnye kple nɔnye gblem ɖi hã la, Yehowa axɔm.
11 Teach me your way, LORD. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.
O! Yehowa, fia wò mɔwom; kplɔm to mɔ dzɔdzɔe dzi, le ame siwo tem ɖe to la ta.
12 Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Esia nye nu si dzi meka ɖo la be: Makpɔ Yehowa ƒe nu nyuiwo le agbagbeawo ƒe anyigba dzi.
14 Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.
Kpɔ mɔ na Yehowa; sẽ ŋu, eye nàlé dzi ɖe ƒo. Kpɔ mɔ na Yehowa.
