Psalms 20

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high,

В конец, псалом Давиду. Услышит тя Господь в день печали, защитит тя имя Бога Иаковля.

2 send you help from the sanctuary, grant you support from Zion,

Послет ти помощь от Святаго, и от Сиона заступит тя.

3 remember all your offerings, and accept your burned sacrifice. (Selah)

Помянет всяку жертву твою, и всесожжение твое тучно буди.

4 May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel.

Даст ти Господь по сердцу твоему, и весь совет твой исполнит.

5 We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God, we will set up our banners. May the LORD grant all your requests.

Возрадуемся о спасении твоем, и во имя Господа Бога нашего возвеличимся: исполнит Господь вся прошения твоя.

6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.

Ныне познах, яко спасе Господь Христа Своего: услышит его с небесе святаго Своего: в силах спасение десницы его.

7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Сии на колесницах, и сии на конех: мы же во имя Господа Бога нашего призовем.

8 They are bowed down and fallen, but we rise up, and stand upright.

Тии спяти быша и падоша: мы же востахом и исправихомся.

9 Save, LORD! Let the King answer us when we call!

Господи, спаси царя, и услыши ны, в оньже аще день призовем Тя.
