Mark 13
1 As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
੧ਜਦੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੈਕਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖੋ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਹਨ!
2 Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
੨ਤਾਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ-ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਐਥੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਵੀ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਿਰਾਇਆ ਨਾ ਜਾਏ।
3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
੩ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਜ਼ੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ, ਤਦ ਪਤਰਸ, ਯਾਕੂਬ, ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦ੍ਰਿਯਾਸ ਨੇ ਇਕਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ,
4 “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
੪ਜੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ, ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ ਲੱਗਣਗੀਆਂ?
5 Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
੫ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਚੌਕਸ ਰਹੋ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਧੋਖੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਪਾਵੇ।
6 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and will lead many astray.
੬ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਥੇਰੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
7 “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
੭ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ ਤਾਂ ਘਬਰਾ ਨਾ ਜਾਣਾ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਜੇ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
੮ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕੌਮ-ਕੌਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਥਾਂ-ਥਾਂ ਭੂਚਾਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲ ਪੈਣਗੇ। ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਅਜੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਹੀ ਹੈ!।
9 “But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
੯ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੌਕਸ ਰਹੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਰ ਖਾਓਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਖੜੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
10 The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਏ।
11 When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
੧੧ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਨ, ਤਾਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਆਖਾਂਗੇ, ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਘੜੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਸੋਈ ਆਖਣਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ, ਪਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ।
12 “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ-ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਫੜਵਾਏਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ।
13 You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
੧੩ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਸਹੇਗਾ ਉਹੀ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
14 “But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,
੧੪ਸੋ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉਜਾੜਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਿਣਾਉਣੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜੀ ਵੇਖੋ (ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਝ ਲਵੇ) ਤਦ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਉਹ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣ।
15 and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੋਠੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਨਾ ਉੱਤਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਾ ਵੜੇ।
16 Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਲੈਣ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਾ ਮੁੜੇ।
17 But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਭਵਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੁੰਘਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਣ!
18 Pray that your flight won’t be in the winter.
੧੮ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਸਿਆਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
19 For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
੧੯ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਡਾ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਸਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਢੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਦੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
20 Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
੨੦ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਘਟਾਉਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨਾ ਬਚਦਾ ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਇਆ
21 Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ don’t believe it.
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖੇ ਕਿ ਵੇਖੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਐਥੇ ਹੈ! ਜਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੈ! ਤਾਂ ਸੱਚ ਨਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ।
22 For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
੨੨ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਝੂਠੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਨਬੀ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਖਾਉਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਚੁਣਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੁਲਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦੇਣ।
23 But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
੨੩ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੌਕਸ ਰਹੋ, ਵੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੱਭੋ ਕੁਝ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
24 But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
੨੪ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸੂਰਜ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਚਾਨਣੀ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
25 the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
੨੫ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਆਂ ਹਿਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
੨੬ਤਦ ਲੋਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ।
27 Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
੨੭ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਦੋਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਹੱਦ ਤੱਕ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸਿਓਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
28 “Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
੨੮ਹੰਜ਼ੀਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸਿੱਖੋ। ਜਦ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਨਰਮ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਪੱਤੇ ਫੁੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
29 even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
੨੯ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਵੇਖੋ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜਾਣ ਲੈਣਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਸਗੋਂ ਬੂਹੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।
30 Most certainly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
੩੦ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਲੈਣ ਇਹ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਬੀਤ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
੩੧ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਟਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਦੀ ਨਾ ਟਲਣਗੇ।
32 “But of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
੩੨ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਨਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ, ਨਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਪਿਤਾ।
33 Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.
੩੩ਖ਼ਬਰਦਾਰ, ਜਾਗਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਕਦੋਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
34 “It is like a man traveling to another country, having left his house and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
੩੪ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ ਗਏ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਰਹਿ।
35 Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming—whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
੩੫ਸੋ ਜਾਗਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਜੋ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਕਦ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂ ਕੁੱਕੜ ਦੇ ਬਾਂਗ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਾਂ ਤੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ।
36 lest, coming suddenly, he might find you sleeping.
੩੬ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਪਏ ਵੇਖੇ।
37 What I tell you, I tell all: Watch!”
੩੭ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਾਗਦੇ ਰਹੋ!
