Judges 5
1 Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying,
ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ದೆಬೋರಳೂ, ಅಬೀನೋವಮನ ಮಗ ಬಾರಾಕನೂ ಹಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
2 “Because the leaders took the lead in Israel, because the people offered themselves willingly, be blessed, LORD!
“ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ನಾಯಕರು ಮುನ್ನಡೆದಾಗ, ಜನರು ಸ್ವಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ!
3 “Hear, you kings! Give ear, you princes! I, even I, will sing to the LORD. I will sing praise to the LORD, the God of Israel.
“ಅರಸರೇ ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಪ್ರಭುಗಳೇ ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ; ನಾನು, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಡುವೆನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡುವೆನು.
4 “LORD, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, the sky also dropped. Yes, the clouds dropped water.
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಸೇಯೀರಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು, ಎದೋಮಿನ ಹೊಲದಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುವಾಗ, ಭೂಮಿ ನಡುಗಿತು. ಆಕಾಶವು ಸಹ ಸುರಿಸಿತು. ಮೇಘಗಳು ಸಹ ನೀರು ಸುರಿಸಿದವು.
5 The mountains quaked at the LORD’s presence, even Sinai at the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸಿದವು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಪರ್ವತವು ಸಹ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.
6 “In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied. The travelers walked through byways.
“ಅನಾತನ ಮಗ ಶಮ್ಗರನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯಾಯೇಲಳ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಂತುಹೋಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಡೊಂಕು ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
7 The rulers ceased in Israel. They ceased until I, Deborah, arose; Until I arose a mother in Israel.
ದೆಬೋರಳಾದ ನಾನು ಏಳುವವರೆಗೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಏಳುವವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 They chose new gods. Then war was in the gates. Was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
ಅವರು ಹೊಸ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಆಗ ಯುದ್ಧವು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯಿತು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಲವತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಸೈನಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ, ಕಠಾರಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel, who offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless the LORD!
ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ನಾಯಕರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ವೇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವಿದೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.
10 “Speak, you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk by the way.
“ಬಿಳಿ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸವಾರಿ ಮಾಡುವವರೇ, ರತ್ನಗಂಬಳಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವವರೇ, ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವವರೇ, ಗಾನಮಾಡಿರಿ.
11 Far from the noise of archers, in the places of drawing water, there they will rehearse the LORD’s righteous acts, the righteous acts of his rule in Israel. “Then the LORD’s people went down to the gates.
ನೀರು ಸೇದುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಗಾಯಕರ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನೀತಿಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವರು. “ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಜನರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬರುವರು.
12 ‘Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, utter a song! Arise, Barak, and lead away your captives, you son of Abinoam.’
‘ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು, ದೆಬೋರಳೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗು, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡನ್ನು ಹಾಡು; ಬಾರಾಕನೇ, ಏಳು; ಅಬೀನೋವಮನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸು.’
13 “Then a remnant of the nobles and the people came down. The LORD came down for me against the mighty.
“ಆಗ ಉಳಿದವನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರಾದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಜನರು ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಂದು, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು.
14 Those whose root is in Amalek came out of Ephraim, after you, Benjamin, among your peoples. Governors come down out of Machir. Those who handle the marshal’s staff came out of Zebulun.
ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಬೇರು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನು ಮಾಕೀರನಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ, ಜೆಬುಲೂನನಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬರಹಗಾರನ ಲೇಖನಿಯನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವವರೂ ಬಂದರು.
15 The princes of Issachar were with Deborah. As was Issachar, so was Barak. They rushed into the valley at his feet. By the watercourses of Reuben, there were great resolves of heart.
ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ದೆಬೋರಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು. ಹೌದು, ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಗೋತ್ರದವರು ಬಾರಾಕನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅವನ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಕಾಲುನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದರು. ರೂಬೇನನ ಕಡೆಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಹಾ ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
16 Why did you sit among the sheepfolds? To hear the whistling for the flocks? At the watercourses of Reuben, there were great searchings of heart.
ಮಂದೆಗಳ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನೀನು ಕುರಿ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದದ್ದೇನು? ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರ ನಡುವೆ ಹೃದಯದ ಮಹಾ ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು.
17 Gilead lived beyond the Jordan. Why did Dan remain in ships? Asher sat still at the haven of the sea, and lived by his creeks.
ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದನು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು. ದಾನನು ಹಡಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತದ್ದೇನು? ಆಶೇರನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ತನ್ನ ರೇವುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು.
18 Zebulun was a people that jeopardized their lives to the death; Naphtali also, on the high places of the field.
ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಹೊಲದ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
19 “The kings came and fought, then the kings of Canaan fought at Taanach by the waters of Megiddo. They took no plunder of silver.
“ಅರಸರು ಬಂದು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆಗ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ಅರಸರು ಮೆಗಿದ್ದೋನಿನ ಜಲ ಸಮೀಪವಾದ ತಾನಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ದ್ರವ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
20 From the sky the stars fought. From their courses, they fought against Sisera.
ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವುಗಳು ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದವು. ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಓಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೀಸೆರನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದವು.
21 The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. My soul, march on with strength.
ಕೀಷೋನ್ ನದಿಯು, ಆ ಹಳೆಯದಾದ ಕೀಷೋನ್ ನದಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಯಿತು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ನೀನು ಬಲವನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದೆ.
22 Then the horse hoofs stamped because of the prancing, the prancing of their strong ones.
ಆಗ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಘಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಓಡುವ ಅವನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಗೊರಸುಗಳು ಸೀಳಿಹೋದವು.
23 ‘Curse Meroz,’ said the LORD’s angel. ‘Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they didn’t come to help the LORD, to help the LORD against the mighty.’
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ನೀವು ಮೆರೋಜನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಿರಿ. ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಪಿಸಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೂ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಹೋದರು.’
24 “Jael shall be blessed above women, the wife of Heber the Kenite; blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
“ಕೇನ್ಯನಾದ ಹೆಬೆರನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಯಾಯೇಲಳು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಹೊಂದಿದವಳು. ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಹೌದು, ಅವಳೇ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೊಳಗೆ ಅಧಿಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಹೊಂದಿದವಳು.
25 He asked for water. She gave him milk. She brought him butter in a lordly dish.
ಅವನು ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಅವಳು ಹಾಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು; ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಬಟ್ಟಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದಿಟ್ಟಳು.
26 She put her hand to the tent peg, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer. With the hammer she struck Sisera. She struck through his head. Yes, she pierced and struck through his temples.
ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಳೆಯನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸಗಾರನ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಳು. ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಸೀಸೆರನನ್ನು ಅವಳು ಹೊಡೆದಳು. ಅವಳು ಅವನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ತಿವಿದು ಹೊಡೆದಳು. ಅವನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟಳು.
27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay. At her feet he bowed, he fell. Where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
ಅವಳ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಮುದುರಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಮಲಗಿದನು. ಅವಳ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದನು. ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದನೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಿದ್ದು ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದನು.
28 “Through the window she looked out, and cried: Sisera’s mother looked through the lattice. ‘Why is his chariot so long in coming? Why do the wheels of his chariots wait?’
“ಸೀಸೆರನ ತಾಯಿ ಕಿಟಿಕಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದಳು, ಕಿಂಡಿಯಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿದಳು, ‘ಅವನ ರಥವು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ತಡವಾದದ್ದೇನು? ಅವನ ರಥಗಳ ಗಾಲಿಗಳು ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವುದೇನು?’
29 Her wise ladies answered her, Yes, she returned answer to herself,
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಳ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಅವಳೇ ತನಗೆ ಬದಲು ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡಳು:
30 ‘Have they not found, have they not divided the plunder? A lady, two ladies to every man; to Sisera a plunder of dyed garments, a plunder of dyed garments embroidered, of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the plunder?’
‘ಅವರು ಓಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕನಿಗೆ ಒಂದೆರಡು ದಾಸಿಯರು ಸೀಸೆರನಿಗಾದರೋ ನಾನಾ ವರ್ಣವುಳ್ಳ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳು. ನಾನಾ ವರ್ಣವುಳ್ಳ ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಸೂತಿಹಾಕಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳು, ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕಸೂತಿಹಾಕಿದ ಒಂದೆರಡು ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂಥ ಕಂಠಮಾಲೆಗಳೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?’
31 “So let all your enemies perish, LORD, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗಲಿ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇರಲಿ.” ಅನಂತರ ದೇಶವು ನಲವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು.
