Joel 3
1 “For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,
觀よ我ユダとヱルサレムの俘囚人を歸さん その日その時
2 I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment on them there for my people, and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations. They have divided my land,
萬國の民を集め之を携へてヨシヤパテの谷にくだりかしこにて我民我ゆづりの產なるイスラエルのために彼らをさばかん 彼らこれを國々に散してその地を分ち取りたればなり
3 and have cast lots for my people, and have given a boy for a prostitute, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
彼らは籤をひきて我民を取り童子を娼妓に換へ童女を賣り酒に換て飮めり
4 “Yes, and what are you to me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will you repay me? And if you repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on your own head.
ツロ、シドンよベリシテのすべての國よ 汝ら我と何のかかはりあらんや 汝ら我がなししことに返をなさんとするや 若し我に返報をなさんとならば我忽ち迅速に汝らがなししことをもてその首に歸らしめん
5 Because you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my finest treasures into your temples,
是は汝らは我の金銀を取り我のしたふべき寶を汝らの宮にたづさへゆき
6 and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border.
またユダの人とヱルサレムの人をギリシヤ人に賣りてその本國より遠く離らせたればなり
7 Behold, I will stir them up out of the place where you have sold them, and will return your repayment on your own head;
視よ我かられを起して汝らが賣りたる處より出し汝らがなししことをもてその首にかへらしめん
8 and I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah, and they will sell them to the men of Sheba, to a faraway nation, for the LORD has spoken it.”
我はなんぢらの男子女子をユダの人の手に賣り彼らは之を遠き民なるシバ人に賣らん ヱホバこれを言ふ
9 Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Stir up the mighty men. Let all the warriors draw near. Let them come up.
もろもろの國に宣つたへよ 戰爭の準備を爲し勇士をはげまし軍人をことごとくちかより來らしめよ
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’
汝等の鋤を劍に打かへ汝らの鎌を鎗に打かへよ 弱き者も我は強しと言へ
11 Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, and gather yourselves together.” Cause your mighty ones to come down there, LORD.
四周の國々の民よ汝ら急ぎ上りて集れ ヱホバよ汝の勇士をかしこに降したまへ
12 “Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
國々の民よ起て上りヨシヤパテの谷に至れ 彼處に我座をしめて四周の國々の民をことごとく鞫かん
13 Put in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread, for the wine press is full, the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.”
鎌をいれよ 穀物は熟せり 來り踏めよ酒榨は盈ち甕は溢る 彼らの惡大なればなりと
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
かまびすしきかな無數の民審判の谷にありてかまびすし ヱホバの日審判の谷に近づくが故なり
15 The sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
日も月も暗くなり星その光明を失ふ
16 The LORD will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but the LORD will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.
ヱホバ、シオンよりよびとどろかしヱルサレムより聲をはなち天地を震ひうごかしたまふ 然れどヱホバはその民の避所イスラエルの子孫の城となりたまはん
17 “So you will know that I am the LORD, your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain. Then Jerusalem will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.
かくて汝ら我はヱホバ汝等の神にして我聖山シオンに住むことをしるべし ヱルサレムは聖き所となり他國の人は重ねてその中をかよふまじ
18 It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters; and a fountain will flow out from the LORD’s house, and will water the valley of Shittim.
その日山にあたらしき酒滴り岡に乳流れユダのもろもろの河に水流れヱホバの家より泉水流れいでてシッテムの谷に灌がん
19 Egypt will be a desolation and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
エジプトは荒すたれエドムは荒野とならん 是はかれらユダの子孫を虐げ辜なき者の血をその國に流したればなり
20 But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
されどユダは永久にすまひヱルサレムは世々に保たん
21 I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed, for the LORD dwells in Zion.”
我さきにはかれらが流しし血の罪を報いざりしが今はこれをむくいん ヱホバ、シオンに住みたまはん
