Job 38
1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind,
১তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই ধুমুহাটোৰ মাজৰ পৰা ইয়োবক উত্তৰ কৰি ক’লে,
2 “Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
২“যিজনে এই জ্ঞানশূন্য বাক্যেৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ মন্ত্ৰণা আন্ধাৰ কৰিছে, এইটো কোন?
3 Brace yourself like a man, for I will question you, then you answer me!
৩তুমি এতিয়া বীৰৰ দৰে কঁকাল বান্ধা; কিয়নো মই তোমাক সোঁধো, তুমি মোক কোৱা।
4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding.
৪যি সময়ত মই পৃথিবীৰ মূল স্থাপন কৰিলোঁ, তেতিয়া তুমি ক’ত আছিলা? যদি তোমাৰ বোধ আছে, তেন্তে কোৱা।
5 Who determined its measures, if you know? Or who stretched the line on it?
৫কোনে তাৰ পৰিমাণ নিৰূপণ কৰিলে? বা কোনে তাৰ ওপৰত পৰিমাণ-জৰী পাৰিলে? যদি জানা তেন্তে কোৱা।
6 What were its foundations fastened on? Or who laid its cornerstone,
৬সেই কালত তাৰ মুলবোৰ কিহৰ ওপৰত বহুওৱা হল? বা কোনে তাৰ চুকৰ শিল স্থাপন কৰিলে?
7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
৭যেতিয়া প্ৰভাতীয় তৰাবোৰে একেলগে গান কৰিছিল, তেতিয়া ঈশ্বৰৰ সন্তান সকলে জয়ধ্বনি কৰিছিল নে?
8 “Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke out of the womb,
৮গৰ্ভৰ পৰা বাহিৰ হোৱাৰ দৰে সমুদ্ৰ যেতিয়া বাহিৰ হৈছিল, তেতিয়া কোনে দুৱাৰৰ সৈতে সমুদ্ৰক নীৰৱ কৰিছিল?
9 when I made clouds its garment, and wrapped it in thick darkness,
৯যেতিয়া মই মেঘক তাৰ বস্ত্ৰস্বৰূপে নিৰ্মান কৰিছিলোঁ, আৰু ঘোৰ অন্ধকাৰক, তাক মেৰিওৱা পটী স্বৰূপ কৰিছিলোঁ,
10 marked out for it my bound, set bars and doors,
১০আৰু যেতিয়া মই তাৰ বাবে বিধি নিৰূপণ কৰিছিলোঁ, ডাং আৰু দুৱাৰ লগাই কৈছিলো-
11 and said, ‘You may come here, but no further. Your proud waves shall be stopped here’?
১১‘তুমি ইয়ালৈকে আহিব পাৰা, ইয়াতকৈ বেছি নহয়; ইয়াতে তোমাৰ গৰ্ব্বী ঢৌবোৰ মাৰ যাব।’
12 “Have you commanded the morning in your days, and caused the dawn to know its place,
১২তুমি চিৰকাল আছা নে, তোমাৰ জীৱনৰ দিন আৰম্ভণিৰ পৰা আছে নে, তুমি প্ৰভাতক আজ্ঞা দিছিলা নে? আৰু অৰুণক তাৰ উদয় স্থান জনাইছিলা নে?
13 that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and shake the wicked out of it?
১৩সেইদৰে পৃথিবীৰ চাৰিও চুক ধৰিছিলা নে, তাৰ পৰা দুষ্টবোৰক জোকাৰি পেলাইছিলা নে?
14 It is changed as clay under the seal, and presented as a garment.
১৪ছাব মৰা মাটিৰ দৰে পৃথিবীৰ ৰূপ পৰিৱৰ্ত্তন হয়, আৰু সকলো বস্তু এখন চিত্ৰ-বিচিত্ৰ বস্ত্ৰৰ দৰে প্ৰকাশ পায়।
15 From the wicked, their light is withheld. The high arm is broken.
১৫আৰু দুষ্টবোৰৰ পৰা পোহৰ আতৰোৱা হয়, আৰু সিহঁতৰ উৰ্ধবাহু ভগ্ন হয়।
16 “Have you entered into the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in the recesses of the deep?
১৬তুমি জানো সমুদ্ৰৰ উৎপন্ন ঠাইলৈ গৈছিলা? বা অগাধ জলৰ গুপ্তস্থানত জানো ফুৰিছিলা?
17 Have the gates of death been revealed to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
১৭মৃত্যুপুৰীৰ দুৱাৰ তোমালৈ অনাবৃত আছিল নে? বা মৃত্যুছায়াৰ দুৱাৰ দেখিছিলা নে?
18 Have you comprehended the earth in its width? Declare, if you know it all.
১৮তুমি পৃথিবীৰ প্ৰস্থৰ বুজ পালা নে? এই সকলো যদি জানা, তেন্তে কোৱা।
19 “What is the way to the dwelling of light? As for darkness, where is its place,
১৯পোহৰ থকা ঠাইলৈ যোৱা বাট ক’ত- সেইদৰে আন্ধাৰৰ ঠাইয়ে বা ক’ত?
20 that you should take it to its bound, that you should discern the paths to its house?
২০যি ঠাইৰ পৰা পোহৰ আৰু আন্ধাৰ আহে, সেই ঠাইলৈ তুমি তাক উভতাই নিব পাৰিবা নে, বা তুমি জানা নে, কিদৰে সেই ঠাইৰ পৰা আহে?
21 Surely you know, for you were born then, and the number of your days is great!
২১তুমি যেতিয়া জন্মিছিলা, নিশ্চিন্তভাবে জানিছিলা! আৰু তোমাৰ দিনৰ সংখ্যা অধিক!
22 Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, or have you seen the storehouses of the hail,
২২যত হিম সঞ্চয় কৰা হয়, সেই ভঁৰালত তুমি প্ৰবেশ কৰিছা নে, তুমি সেই শিলাবৃষ্টিৰ ভঁৰাল দেখিছিলা নে?
23 which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
২৩এই বস্তুবোৰ মই সঙ্কট সময়ৰ বাবে, ৰণ বা যুদ্ধ দিনৰ বাবে ধৰি ৰাখো;
24 By what way is the lightning distributed, or the east wind scattered on the earth?
২৪কি নিয়মেৰে বিজুলীৰ পোহৰ ভাগবতৰা হয়, বা কি নিয়মেৰে পূবৰ বায়ু পৃথিবীত বিয়পি পৰে?
25 Who has cut a channel for the flood water, or the path for the thunderstorm,
২৫প্লাৱন সৃষ্টিকাৰী বৰষুণৰ বাবে কোনে পানী বোৱাই নিয়া নলা তৈয়াৰ কৰিলে, বা কোনে বিজুলী-ঢেৰেকনিৰ বাবে পথ প্ৰস্তুত কৰিলে,
26 to cause it to rain on a land where there is no man, on the wilderness, in which there is no man,
২৬বৰষুণ নোহোৱা কাৰণে যি ঠাইত কোনো ব্যক্তি নাথাকে, আৰু য’ত এজনো মানুহ নাই, সেই পৰিত্যক্তভূমি,
27 to satisfy the waste and desolate ground, to cause the tender grass to grow?
২৭সেই অনুৰ্বৰ মাটি আৰু জনশূণ্য অঞ্চলৰ উদ্দেশ্যে, কোনে কোমল ঘাঁহ গজাই তোলে?
28 Does the rain have a father? Or who fathers the drops of dew?
২৮বৰষুণৰ জানো পিতৃ আছে? নিয়ৰৰ বিন্দুসমুহ জানো কোনোবাই প্ৰসৱ কৰিলে?
29 Whose womb did the ice come out of? Who has given birth to the gray frost of the sky?
২৯কাৰ গৰ্ভৰ পৰা বৰফ বাহিৰ হ’ল? কোনে আকাশত বগা তুষাৰপাত জন্ম দিলে?
30 The waters become hard like stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen.
৩০জল সমূহ নিজে গোট খায় আৰু শিলৰ নিচিনা হয়, পৃষ্ঠতলৰ গভীৰত সি হিমলৈ ৰূপান্তৰিত হয়।
31 “Can you bind the cluster of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion?
৩১তুমি জানো কৃত্তিকা নক্ষত্ৰৰ হাৰ গাঁথিব পাৰা? বা মৃগশীৰ্ষ নক্ষত্ৰৰ বান্ধ জানো সোলোকাব পাৰা?
32 Can you lead the constellations out in their season? Or can you guide the Bear with her cubs?
৩২আৰু ৰাশিবোৰক জানো নিজ নিজ ঋতুত উলিয়াব পাৰা? বা তুমি সপ্তশীৰ্ষক জানো তাৰ অনুচৰ বোৰে সৈতে বাট দেখুৱাই নিব পাৰা?
33 Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you establish its dominion over the earth?
৩৩তুমি আকাশ-মণ্ডলৰ নিয়মবোৰ জানা নে? পৃথিবীৰ ওপৰত তুমি সেইবোৰৰ অধিকাৰ স্থাপন কৰিব পাৰা নে?
34 “Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover you?
৩৪ঢল পানীৰে তোমাক ঢাকিবৰ বাবে তুমি মেঘলৈকে তোমাৰ মাত নিয়াব পাৰা নে?
35 Can you send out lightnings, that they may go? Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’?
৩৫তুমি বিজুলীবোৰক যা বুলি পঠাব পাৰা নে? সেইবোৰে জানো তোমাক ক’ব নে, ‘এইয়া আমি’?
36 Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind?
৩৬ঘন মেঘক কোনে জ্ঞান দিলে? পপীয়া তৰা কোনে বুদ্ধি দিলে?
37 Who can count the clouds by wisdom? Or who can pour out the containers of the sky,
৩৭এনে দক্ষতা কাৰ আছে, যিয়ে মেঘ সমূহক গণনা কৰিব পাৰে? কোনে আকাশৰ পৰা বৰষুণ বৰ্ষাব পাৰে?
38 when the dust runs into a mass, and the clods of earth stick together?
৩৮যেতিয়া ধুলিবোৰ গৈ গোট খায়, আৰু চপৰাবোৰ টানকৈ লগ লাগে, সেই সময়ত কোনে আকাশৰ জলৰ মোটবোৰ বাকি দিয়ে?
39 “Can you hunt the prey for the lioness, or satisfy the appetite of the young lions,
৩৯তুমি সিংহিনীৰ নিমিত্তে মৃগয়া কৰিবা নে? বা তাইৰ সৰু পোৱালিক সন্তুষ্ট হোৱাকৈ খাবলৈ দিবা নে?
40 when they crouch in their dens, and lie in wait in the thicket?
৪০যেতিয়া ডেকা সিংহবোৰে নিজ নিজ চোঙত চোপ লৈ থাকে, আৰু আঁৰত খাপ দি থাকে তেতিয়া তুমি সেইবোৰৰ হেপাঁহ পলুৱাব পাৰা নে?
41 Who provides for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry to God, and wander for lack of food?
৪১যেতিয়া ঢোঁৰা-কাউৰীৰ পোৱালি বোৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ গুৰিত চিঞঁৰে, আৰু আহাৰৰ অভাৱত ফুৰে তেতিয়া সেইবোৰৰ বাবে কোনে আহাৰ যোগায়?
