Psalms 96
1 Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth.
Співайте для Господа пісню нову́, уся зе́мле, — співайте для Господа!
2 Sing to the LORD! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!
Співайте для Господа, благословля́йте Ім'я́ Його, з дня на день сповіщайте спасі́ння Його!
3 Declare his glory amongst the nations, his marvellous works amongst all the peoples.
Розповідайте про славу Його між пога́нами, про чу́да Його — між усі́ми наро́дами,
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods.
бо великий Господь і просла́влений ве́льми, Він грізни́й понад богів усіх!
5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
Бо всі боги наро́дів — божки́, а Госпо́дь створив небеса́, —
6 Honour and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
перед лицем Його слава та велич, сила й краса — у святині Його!
7 Ascribe to the LORD, you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
Дайте Господу, ро́ди наро́дів, дайте Господу славу та силу,
8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
дайте Господу славу йме́ння Його, жертви прино́сьте і вхо́дьте в подві́р'я Його!
9 Worship the LORD in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
Додолу впадіть ув оздо́бі святій перед Господом, тремтіть перед обличчям Його, уся зе́мле,
10 Say amongst the nations, “The LORD reigns.” The world is also established. It can’t be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
сповістіть між наро́дами: „Царю́є Госпо́дь! Він вселе́нну зміцни́в, щоб не захита́лась, Він бу́де судити людей справедли́во“!
11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and its fullness!
Хай небо радіє, і хай весели́ться земля, нехай гримить море й усе, що у нім,
12 Let the field and all that is in it exult! Then all the trees of the woods shall sing for joy
нехай поле радіє та все, що на ньому! Нехай заспівають тоді всі дере́ва лісні́, —
13 before the LORD; for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth.
перед Господнім лицем, бо гряде́ Він, бо зе́млю судити гряде́, е́ — Він за справедливістю буде судити вселе́нну, і наро́ди — по правді Своїй!
