< Psalms 74 >

1 A contemplation by Asaph. God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smoulder against the sheep of your pasture?
MAIN Kot, da me kom kotin kaje kin kit ala, o da me re onioniki japwilim omui jip akan?
2 Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
Kom kotin kupura japwilim omui momodijou, me kom kotin pwaindar maj o, o me komui dorelar, pwen wiala japwilim omui, kotin kupura dol Jion, waja me kom kotikot ia.
3 Lift up your feet to the perpetual ruins, all the evil that the enemy has done in the sanctuary.
Kom koti don waja me lijelipin anjau warai; imwintiti me kawelar meakaroj nan im jaraui.
4 Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Me palian komui, kin weriwer nan tanpaj omui o pwilikidi arail dikedik en ani mal akan lole.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
Irail pwaradar dueta ir, me wia palapal nan wei.
6 Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Re kin kawela did kajelel akan ki jile laud o tikitik.
7 They have burnt your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Irail karonala tanpaj omui; irail kajaminela o tiakedi waja me mar omui kotikot ia.
8 They said in their heart, “We will crush them completely.” They have burnt up all the places in the land where God was worshipped.
Irail kin inda nan monion arail: Na, kitail pan kawela! Irail karonalar wajan kaudok karoj nan jap o.
9 We see no miraculous signs. There is no longer any prophet, neither is there amongst us anyone who knows how long.
Jolar manaman akai janjal on kitail, o jolar jaukop amen mia, o jota amen re atail me pan aja imwilan mepukat.
10 How long, God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme your name forever?
O Main Kot, arai da me morjued o pan lalaue, o imwintiti o pan mamaleki mar omui?
11 Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it from your chest and consume them!
Da me komui kotiki wei jan lim omui? Kotikida pali maun omui o kaimwijokala.
12 Yet God is my King of old, working salvation throughout the earth.
Pwe Kot ai Nanmarki jan maj o. I me jauaj pan meakaroj, me kin wiaui nin jappa.
13 You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Kom kotin kamueit pajaner madau ki omui manaman, o kom kotin kawelar monan drake nan pil.
14 You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Kom kotin kawelar monan walroj, ap kotiki on aramaj nan jap tan, pwen kanala.
15 You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
Komui kotin kapwaredar parer o pilap akan, o pilap kalaimun akan me kom kotin kanalanaladi.
16 The day is yours, the night is also yours. You have prepared the light and the sun.
Ran o pon me japwilim omui; komui kotin wiadar jaunipon o katipin.
17 You have set all the boundaries of the earth. You have made summer and winter.
Komui wiadar irair en jap akan; komui me kin wia anjaun karakar o kapou.
18 Remember this, that the enemy has mocked you, LORD. Foolish people have blasphemed your name.
Kom kotin kupura mepukat: Imwintiti o lalaue komui Main, o aramaj pweipwei kan mamaleki mar omui.
19 Don’t deliver the soul of your dove to wild beasts. Don’t forget the life of your poor forever.
Kom der kotiki on man laualo nen en japwilim omui muroi, o kom der likidmaliela pwin en japwilim omui luet akan.
20 Honour your covenant, for haunts of violence fill the dark places of the earth.
Kom kotin tamanda inau o, pwe jap olar waja karoj o im akan pual pajaner.
21 Don’t let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.
Re der kotin mueid on me luet o, en namenok purela, me jamama o luet akan en kapina mar omui.
22 Arise, God! Plead your own cause. Remember how the foolish man mocks you all day.
Main Kot, kom kotida o kotin kaimwijokala japwilim omui dodok; kom kotin tamanda kankaurur, me kin wiaui on kmui jan ren me pweipwei kan.
23 Don’t forget the voice of your adversaries. The tumult of those who rise up against you ascends continually.
Kom kotin der maliela weriwer en japwlim omui imwintiti, moronoron en me palian komui kan, me kin lalaudalar karoj.
