Psalms 4
1 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David. Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
၁အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုဖြောင့်မတ် စေတော်မူသောဘုရား ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ခေါ် သောအခါ နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ် သည်ဆင်းရဲ စဉ်တွင် ကိုယ်တော်သည် ချမ်းသာပေးတော်မူပါပြီ။ ယခုလည်းသနား ၍ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ ပဌနာ စကား ကို နားထောင် တော်မူပါ။
2 You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonour? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? (Selah)
၂အချင်းလူသားတို့၊ အဘယ် မျှ ကာလ ပတ်လုံး ငါ ၏ဘုန်း ကို ရှုတ်ချ ကြမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်မျှကာလပတ်လုံးအနတ္တ ကို နှစ်သက် ၍ မုသာ ကို လိုက်ရှာ ကြမည် နည်း။
3 But know that the LORD has set apart for himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to him.
၃ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မိမိ သန့်ရှင်း သူကို ရွေး ထား တော်မူသည်ကို သိ မှတ်ကြလော့။ ငါ ခေါ် ၍ လျှောက် သောအခါ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် နားထောင် တော်မူလိမ့် မည်။
4 Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. (Selah)
၄ကြောက်ရွံ့ တုန်လှုပ်၍ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို ရှောင် ကြလော့။ အိပ်ရာ ပေါ် မှာ ကိုယ် စိတ် နှလုံးနှင့် ဆွေးနွေး စဉ်းစား၍ တိတ်ဆိတ် ခြင်းရှိကြလော့။
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in the LORD.
၅တရား သဖြင့်ယဇ် ပူဇော်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကိုးစား ကြလော့။
6 Many say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, let the light of your face shine on us.
၆ကောင်းမွန် သော အရာကို ငါ တို့အား အဘယ် သူပြ မည်နည်းဟုမေး တတ်သော သူအများ ရှိပါသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား ၊ မျက်နှာ တော်အလင်း ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အပေါ် မှာ ပေါ်ထွန်း စေတော်မူပါ။
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
၇သူ တို့၌ ဆန် စပါး၊ စပျစ်ရည် ပေါ များ၍ ၊ သူ တို့ ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိသည်ထက် အကျွန်ုပ် ကိုသာ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် စေတော်မူ၏။
8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
၈ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာအိပ် ၍ ပျော် ပါမည်။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် လုံခြုံ စွာနေ ရသောအခွင့်ကို ကိုယ်တော် အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သာလျှင် အခွင့်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
