< Psalms 21 >
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. The king rejoices in your strength, LORD! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!
RyIehovà, mirebeke ty haozara’o i mpanjakay; mandia taroba amy fandrombaha’oy.
2 You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. (Selah)
Fa natolo’o aze ty naìnañ’ arofo’e, le tsy nangazoña’o ama’e o halalin-tsoñi’eo. Selà
3 For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head.
Salakae’o am-pitahian-tsoa; apo’o añ’ambone’e eo ty sabaka volamena ki’e.
4 He asked life of you and you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.
Nihalalia’e haveloñe, le natolo’o aze, eka, halava andro kitro añ’afe’e.
5 His glory is great in your salvation. You lay honour and majesty on him.
Mañonjoñe ty enge’e o fandreketa’oo, nanampeza’o asiñe naho volonahetse.
6 For you make him most blessed forever. You make him glad with joy in your presence.
Nampiraoraoe’o nainai’e; Ampirebehe’o ami’ty hafaleañe añ’atrefa’o.
7 For the king trusts in the LORD. Through the loving kindness of the Most High, he shall not be moved.
Iatoa’ i mpanjakay t’Iehovà, ie tsy ho ronjeronjeñe ty amy fiferenaiña’ i Andindimoneñey.
8 Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.
Ho onim-pità’o ze hene rafelahi’o; ho takarem-pitàn-kavana’o o malaiñe azoo.
9 You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. The LORD will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.
Hampanahafe’o ami’ty toñake mirekake iereo an-tsam-piforoforoa’o; hagodra’ Iehovà an-kaviñerañe, vaho ho forototoe’ ty afo.
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from amongst the children of men.
Ho mongore’o an-tane atoy o tarira’ iereoo, naho o tiri’iareoo amo ana’ondatio.
11 For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.
Nikilily raty azo iereo, nikitroke haratiañe ama’o, f’ie tsy ho lefe,
12 For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.
Hampiambohoe’o iereo Ampibitsohe’o fale o lahara’eo.
13 Be exalted, LORD, in your strength, so we will sing and praise your power.
Mionjona ry Iehovà an-kaozara’o! Ho saboe’ay naho ho bangoa’ay ty hafatrara’o!
