Psalms 118
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
१परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद द्या, कारण तो चांगला आहे, कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.
2 Let Israel now say that his loving kindness endures forever.
२इस्राएलाने आता म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”
3 Let the house of Aaron now say that his loving kindness endures forever.
३अहरोनाच्या घराण्याने म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”
4 Now let those who fear the LORD say that his loving kindness endures forever.
४परमेश्वराची उपासना करणाऱ्यांनी म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”
5 Out of my distress, I called on the LORD. The LORD answered me with freedom.
५मी संकटात असता परमेश्वरास हाक मारली. परमेश्वराने मला उत्तर दिले आणि मला सोडवले.
6 The LORD is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
६परमेश्वर माझ्याबरोबर आहे; मी घाबरणार नाही; मनुष्य माझे काय करू शकेल?
7 The LORD is on my side amongst those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
७माझे सहाय्य करणारा परमेश्वर माझ्या बाजूला आहे; माझा द्वेष करणाऱ्यावर विजय झालेला मी बघेन.
8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.
८मनुष्यावर भरवसा ठेवण्यापेक्षा परमेश्वराच्या आश्रयास जाणे अधिक चांगले आहे.
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD, than to put confidence in princes.
९मनुष्यावर भरवसा ठेवण्यापेक्षा परमेश्वरास शरण जाणे हे अधिक चांगले आहे.
10 All the nations surrounded me, but in the LORD’s name I cut them off.
१०सर्व राष्ट्रांनी मला घेरले आहे; परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांचा संहार करीन.
11 They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the LORD’s name I indeed cut them off.
११त्यांनी मला घेरले आहे; होय, त्यांनी मला घेरले आहे. परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांना नाहीसे करीन.
12 They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the LORD’s name I cut them off.
१२त्यांनी मला मधमाश्याप्रमाणे घेरले आहे; जशी काट्यांमध्ये जेवढ्या लवकर आग लागते तेवढ्याच लवकर ते नाहीसे होतील. परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांना नाहीसे करीन.
13 You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but the LORD helped me.
१३मी पडावे म्हणून त्यांनी माझ्यावर हल्ला केला, परंतु परमेश्वराने मला मदत केली.
14 The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.
१४परमेश्वर माझे सामर्थ्य आणि आनंद आहे. आणि तो माझे तारण झाला आहे.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous. “The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.
१५उत्सवाचा आणि तारणाचा शब्द नितीमानाच्या तंबूत ऐकू येत आहे; परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात विजय मिळवतो.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted! The right hand of the LORD does valiantly!”
१६परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात उंचावला आहे; परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात विजय मिळवतो.
17 I will not die, but live, and declare the LORD’s works.
१७मी मरणार नाही, पण जगेन आणि परमेश्वराची कृत्ये जाहीर करीन.
18 The LORD has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.
१८परमेश्वराने मला जबर शिक्षा केली; परंतु त्याने मला मृत्यूच्या हाती दिले नाही.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to the LORD.
१९माझ्यासाठी धार्मिकतेचे दरवाजे उघडा; मी त्यामध्ये प्रवेश करीन आणि मी परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद देईन.
20 This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous will enter into it.
२०हे परमेश्वराचे दार आहे; नितीमान त्यातून प्रवेश करतील.
21 I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.
२१मी तुला धन्यवाद देईन, कारण तू मला उत्तर दिले आहे आणि तू माझे तारण झाला आहेस.
22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
२२इमारत बांधणाऱ्यांनी जो दगड नाकारला होता, तोच कोनाशिला झाला आहे.
23 This is the LORD’s doing. It is marvellous in our eyes.
२३परमेश्वराने हे केले आहे; आमच्या दृष्टीने ते अतिशय अद्भुत आहे.
24 This is the day that the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
२४परमेश्वराने नेमलेला दिवस हाच आहे; ह्यात आपण आनंद व उल्लास करू.
25 Save us now, we beg you, LORD! LORD, we beg you, send prosperity now.
२५हे परमेश्वरा, आम्ही तुला विनंती करतो, आता आमचे तारण कर; हे परमेश्वरा आम्ही तुला विनंती करतो, आता आमचा उत्कर्ष कर.
26 Blessed is he who comes in the LORD’s name! We have blessed you out of the LORD’s house.
२६परमेश्वराच्या नावाने येणारा धन्यवादित असो; परमेश्वराच्या घरातून आम्ही तुला आशीर्वाद देतो.
27 The LORD is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.
२७परमेश्वर देव आहे. त्याने आपल्याला प्रकाश दिला आहे; यज्ञाचा पशू वेदीच्या शिंगास दोरीने बांधा.
28 You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.
२८तू माझा देव आहेस आणि मी तुला धन्यवाद देईन. तू माझा देव आहेस; मी तुला उंचावीन.
29 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.
२९अहो, तुम्ही परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद द्या; कारण तो चांगला आहे; कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.
