Nehemiah 4
1 But when Sanballat heard that we were building the wall, he was angry, and was very indignant, and mocked the Jews.
Кынд а аузит Санбалат кэ зидим ярэшь зидул, с-а мыният ши с-а супэрат фоарте таре. Шь-а бэтут жок де иудей
2 He spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, since they are burnt?”
ши а зис ынаинтя фрацилор сэй ши ынаинтя осташилор Самарией: „Ла че лукрязэ ачешть иудей непутинчошь? Оаре вор фи лэсаць сэ лукрезе? Оаре вор жертфи? Оаре вор испрэви? Оаре вор да ей вяцэ унор петре ынмормынтате суб мормане де праф ши арсе де фок?”
3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said, “What they are building, if a fox climbed up it, he would break down their stone wall.”
Тобия, Амонитул, ера лынгэ ел ши а зис: „Сэ зидяскэ нумай! Дакэ се ва суи о вулпе, ле ва дэрыма зидул лор де пятрэ.”
4 “Hear, our God, for we are despised. Turn back their reproach on their own head. Give them up for a plunder in a land of captivity.
„Аскултэ, Думнезеул ностру, кум сунтем батжокориць! Фэ сэ кадэ окэриле лор асупра капулуй лор ши дэ-й прадэ пе ун пэмынт унде сэ фие робь.
5 Don’t cover their iniquity. Don’t let their sin be blotted out from before you; for they have insulted the builders.”
Ну ле ерта фэрэделеӂя, ши пэкатул лор сэ ну фие штерс динаинтя Та, кэч ау некэжит пе чей че зидеск.”
6 So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.
Ам зидит зидул, каре а фост испрэвит претутиндень пынэ ла жумэтате дин ынэлцимя луй. Ши попорул лукра ку инимэ.
7 But when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabians, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the repairing of the walls of Jerusalem went forward, and that the breaches began to be filled, they were very angry;
Дар Санбалат, Тобия, арабий, амониций ши асдодиций с-ау супэрат фоарте таре кынд ау аузит кэ дреӂеря зидурилор ынаинта ши кэ спэртуриле ынчепяу сэ се аступе.
8 and they all conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem, and to cause confusion amongst us.
С-ау унит тоць ымпреунэ ка сэ винэ ымпотрива Иерусалимулуй ши сэ-й факэ стрикэчунь.
9 But we made our prayer to our God, and set a watch against them day and night because of them.
Не-ам ругат Думнезеулуй ностру ши ам пус о стражэ зи ши ноапте, ка сэ не апере ымпотрива ловитурилор лор.
10 Judah said, “The strength of the bearers of burdens is fading and there is much rubble, so that we are not able to build the wall.”
Ынсэ Иуда зичя: „Путериле челор че дук повериле слэбеск ши дэрымэтуриле сунт мулте; ну вом путя сэ зидим зидул.”
11 Our adversaries said, “They will not know or see, until we come in amongst them and kill them, and cause the work to cease.”
Ши врэжмаший ноштри зичяу: „Ну вор шти ши ну вор ведя нимик пынэ вом ажунӂе ын мижлокул лор; ый вом учиде ши вом фаче астфел сэ ынчетезе лукраря.”
12 When the Jews who lived by them came, they said to us ten times from all places, “Wherever you turn, they will attack us.”
Ши иудеий каре локуяу лынгэ ей ау венит де зече орь ши не-ау ынштиинцат деспре тоате локуриле пе унде веняу ла ной.
13 Therefore I set guards in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in the open places. I set the people by family groups with their swords, their spears, and their bows.
Де ачея ам пус ын локуриле челе май де жос, динапоя зидулуй, ши ын локуриле тарь, попорул пе фамилий, й-ам ашезат пе тоць ку сэбииле, сулицеле ши аркуриле лор.
14 I looked, and rose up, and said to the nobles, to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them! Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses.”
М-ам уйтат ши, скулынду-мэ, ам зис май-марилор, дрегэторилор ши челуйлалт попор: „Ну вэ темець де ей! Адучеци-вэ аминте де Домнул чел маре ши ынфрикошат ши луптаць пентру фраций воштри, пентру фиий воштри ши фетеле воастре, пентру невестеле воастре ши пентру каселе воастре!”
15 When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and God had brought their counsel to nothing, all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work.
Кынд ау аузит врэжмаший ноштри кэ ам фост ынштиинцаць, Думнезеу ле-а нимичит планул ши не-ам ынторс ку тоций ла зид, фиекаре ла лукраря луй.
16 From that time forth, half of my servants did the work, and half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows, and the coats of mail; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
Дин зиуа ачея, жумэтате дин оамений мей лукрау, яр чялалтэ жумэтате ера ынарматэ ку сулице, ку скутурь, ку аркурь ши ку платоше. Кэпетенииле ерау ынапоя ынтреӂий касе а луй Иуда.
17 Those who built the wall, and those who bore burdens loaded themselves; everyone with one of his hands did the work, and with the other held his weapon.
Чей че зидяу зидул ши чей че дучяу сау ынкэркау повериле ку о мынэ лукрау, яр ку алта циняу арма.
18 Amongst the builders, everyone wore his sword at his side, and so built. He who sounded the trumpet was by me.
Фиекаре дин ей, кынд лукра, ышь авя сабия ынчинсэ ла мижлок. Чел че суна дин трымбицэ стэтя лынгэ мине.
19 I said to the nobles, and to the rulers and to the rest of the people, “The work is great and widely spread out, and we are separated on the wall, far from one another.
Ам зис май-марилор, дрегэторилор ши челуйлалт попор: „Лукраря есте маре ши ынтинсэ, ши ной сунтем рисипиць пе зид, департе уний де алций.
20 Wherever you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally there to us. Our God will fight for us.”
Ла сунетул трымбицей сэ вэ стрынӂець ла ной, спре локул де унде о вець аузи. Думнезеул ностру ва лупта пентру ной.”
21 So we did the work. Half of the people held the spears from the rising of the morning until the stars appeared.
Аша фэчям лукраря: жумэтате дин ной стынд ку сулица ын мынэ дин зорий зилей пынэ ла ивиря стелелор.
22 Likewise at the same time I said to the people, “Let everyone with his servant lodge within Jerusalem, that in the night they may be a guard to us, and may labour in the day.”
Ын ачелашь тимп, ам май зис попорулуй: „Фиекаре сэ петрякэ ноаптя ын Иерусалим ку служиторул луй; ноаптя сэ фачем де стражэ, яр зиуа сэ лукрэм.”
23 So neither I, nor my brothers, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me took off our clothes. Everyone took his weapon to the water.
Ши ну не-ам дезбрэкат де хайне, нич еу, нич фраций мей, нич служиторий мей, нич оамений де стражэ, каре ерау суб порунка мя. Фиекаре се дучя ку армеле ла апэ.
