< Micah 7 >

1 Misery is mine! Indeed, I am like one who gathers the summer fruits, as gleanings of the vineyard. There is no cluster of grapes to eat. My soul desires to eat the early fig.
Ègbé ni fún mi! Nítorí èmi sì dàbí ẹni tí ń kó èso ẹ̀ẹ̀rùn jọ, ìpèsè ọgbà àjàrà; kò sì ṣí odidi àjàrà kankan láti jẹ, kò sì ṣí àkọ́so ọ̀pọ̀tọ́ nítorí tí ebi ń pa mí.
2 The godly man has perished out of the earth, and there is no one upright amongst men. They all lie in wait for blood; every man hunts his brother with a net.
Àwọn olódodo sì ti kúrò ní ilẹ̀ náà, kò sì ṣí ẹnìkan tí ó ṣẹ́kù tí ó jọ olóòtítọ́; gbogbo wọn sì ń purọ́ ní dídúró nítorí ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, olúkúlùkù wọ́n sì ń fi àwọ̀n de arákùnrin rẹ̀.
3 Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe. The powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.
Ọwọ́ wọn méjèèjì ti múra tán láti ṣe búburú; àwọn alákòóso ń béèrè fún ẹ̀bùn, àwọn onídàájọ́ sì ń gba owó àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ alágbára sì ń pàṣẹ ohun tí wọ́n fẹ́, gbogbo wọn sì jùmọ̀ ń dìtẹ̀.
4 The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion.
Ẹni tí ó sàn jùlọ nínú wọn sì dàbí ẹ̀gún, ẹni tí ó jẹ́ olódodo jùlọ burú ju ẹ̀gún ọgbà lọ. Ọjọ́ àwọn olùṣọ́ rẹ̀ ti dé, àti ọjọ́ tí Ọlọ́run bẹ̀ ọ́ wò. Nísinsin yìí ní àkókò ìdààmú wọn.
5 Don’t trust in a neighbour. Don’t put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth!
Ẹ má ṣe gba ọ̀rẹ́ kan gbọ́; ẹ má sì ṣe gbẹ́kẹ̀lé amọ̀nà kankan. Pa ìlẹ̀kùn ẹnu rẹ fún ẹni tí ó sùn ní oókan àyà rẹ.
6 For the son dishonours the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
Nítorí tí ọmọkùnrin kò bọ̀wọ̀ fún baba rẹ̀, ọmọbìnrin sì dìde sí ìyá rẹ̀, aya ọmọ sí ìyá ọkọ rẹ̀, ọ̀tá olúkúlùkù ni àwọn ará ilé rẹ̀.
7 But as for me, I will look to the LORD. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.
Ṣùgbọ́n ní tèmi, èmi ní ìwòye ní ìrètí sí Olúwa, èmi dúró de Ọlọ́run olùgbàlà mi; Ọlọ́run mi yóò sì tẹ́tí sí mi.
8 Don’t rejoice against me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.
Má ṣe yọ̀ mí, ìwọ ọ̀tá mi. Bí mó bá ṣubú, èmi yóò dìde. Nígbà tí mo bá jókòó sínú òkùnkùn Olúwa yóò jẹ́ ìmọ́lẹ̀ fún mi.
9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case and executes judgement for me. He will bring me out to the light. I will see his righteousness.
Nítorí èmi ti dẹ́ṣẹ̀ sí i, èmi yóò faradà ìbínú Olúwa, títí òun yóò ṣe gba ẹjọ́ mi rò, tí yóò sì ṣe ìdájọ́ mi. Òun yóò sì mú mi wá sínú ìmọ́lẹ̀; èmi yóò sì rí òdodo rẹ̀.
10 Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the LORD your God?” My eyes will see her. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.
Nígbà náà ni ọ̀tá mi yóò rí i ìtìjú yóò sì bo ẹni tí ó wí fún mi pé, “Níbo ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ wà?” Ojú mi yóò rí ìṣubú rẹ̀; nísinsin yìí ni yóò di ìtẹ̀mọ́lẹ̀ bí ẹrẹ̀ òpópó.
11 A day to build your walls! In that day, he will extend your boundary.
Ọjọ́ tí a ó mọ odi rẹ yóò dé, ọjọ́ náà ni àṣẹ yóò jìnnà réré.
12 In that day they will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt even to the River, and from sea to sea, and mountain to mountain.
Ní ọjọ́ náà àwọn ènìyàn yóò wá sọ́dọ̀ rẹ láti Asiria àti ìlú ńlá Ejibiti àní láti Ejibiti dé Eufurate láti Òkun dé Òkun àti láti òkè ńlá dé òkè ńlá.
13 Yet the land will be desolate because of those who dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.
Ilẹ̀ náà yóò di ahoro fún àwọn olùgbé inú rẹ̀, nítorí èso ìwà wọn.
14 Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your heritage, who dwell by themselves in a forest. Let them feed in the middle of fertile pasture land, in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
Fi ọ̀pá rẹ bọ́ àwọn ènìyàn, agbo ẹran ìní rẹ, èyí tí ó ń dágbé nínú igbó ní àárín Karmeli. Jẹ́ kí wọn jẹun ní Baṣani àti Gileadi bí ọjọ́ ìgbàanì.
15 “As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvellous things.”
“Bí i ọjọ́ tí ó jáde kúrò ní Ejibiti wá, ni èmi yóò fi ohun ìyanu hàn án.”
16 The nations will see and be ashamed of all their might. They will lay their hand on their mouth. Their ears will be deaf.
Orílẹ̀-èdè yóò rí i, ojú yóò sì tì wọ́n, nínú gbogbo agbára wọn. Wọn yóò fi ọwọ́ lé ẹnu wọn, etí wọn yóò sì di.
17 They will lick the dust like a serpent. Like crawling things of the earth, they will come trembling out of their dens. They will come with fear to the LORD our God, and will be afraid because of you.
Wọn yóò lá erùpẹ̀ bí ejò, wọn yóò sì jáde kúrò nínú ihò wọn bí ekòló. Wọn yóò bẹ̀rù Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa, wọn yóò sì bẹ̀rù nítorí rẹ̀.
18 Who is a God like you, who pardons iniquity, and passes over the disobedience of the remnant of his heritage? He doesn’t retain his anger forever, because he delights in loving kindness.
Ta ni Ọlọ́run bí rẹ̀, ẹni tí ó dárí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ jì, tí ó sì fojú fo ìrékọjá èyí tókù ìní rẹ̀? Kì í dúró nínú ìbínú rẹ̀ láéláé nítorí òun ní inú dídùn sí àánú.
19 He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Òun yóò tún padà yọ́nú sí wa; òun yóò tẹ àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wa mọ́lẹ̀, yóò sì fa gbogbo àìṣedéédéé wa sínú ibú Òkun.
20 You will give truth to Jacob, and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.
Ìwọ yóò fi òtítọ́ hàn sí Jakọbu ìwọ yóò sì fi àánú hàn sí Abrahamu, bí ìwọ ṣe búra fún àwọn baba wa láti ọjọ́ ìgbàanì.
