< Judges 17 >
1 There was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.

2 He said to his mother, “The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears—behold, the silver is with me. I took it.” His mother said, “May the LORD bless my son!”
sọ fún ìyá rẹ̀ pé, “Ẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀fà ṣékélì fàdákà èyí tí wọ́n jí mọ́ ọ lọ́wọ́, àti nípa èyí tí mo gbọ́ tí ìwọ ń ṣẹ́ èpè. Kíyèsi fàdákà náà wà ní ọ̀dọ̀ mi, èmi ni mo kó o.” Nígbà náà ni ìyá rẹ̀ dáhùn pé, “Kí Olúwa bùkún ọ ọmọ mi!”
3 He restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, then his mother said, “I most certainly dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.”
Nígbà tí ó da ẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀fà ṣékélì fàdákà náà padà fún ìyá rẹ̀, ìyá rẹ̀ dáhùn pé, “Èmi ti fi òtítọ́ inú ya sílífà náà sọ́tọ̀ sí Olúwa fún ọmọ mi láti fi dá ère dídá àti ère gbígbẹ́. Èmi yóò dá a padà fún ọ.”
4 When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, who made a carved image and a molten image out of it. It was in the house of Micah.
Nítorí náà òun dá sílífà náà padà fún ìyá rẹ̀, ìyá rẹ̀ sì mú igba ṣékélì fàdákà, ó sì fún alágbẹ̀dẹ fàdákà ẹni tí ó fi wọ́n rọ ère fínfín àti ère dídà. Wọ́n sì kó wọn sí ilé Mika.
5 The man Micah had a house of gods, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
Ọkùnrin náà, Mika sì ní ojúbọ kan. Òun sì ra ẹ̀wù efodu kan, ó sì ṣe àwọn ère kan, ó sì fi ọ̀kan nínú àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ ọkùnrin ṣe àlùfáà rẹ̀.
6 In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes.
Ní ọjọ́ wọ̀n-ọn-nì àwọn ọmọ Israẹli kò ní ọba; olúkúlùkù ṣe bí ó ti rò pé ó tọ́ ní ojú ara rẹ́.
7 There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he lived there.
Ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin kan sì ti Bẹtilẹhẹmu ti Juda wá, tí í ṣe ìdílé Juda, ẹni tí í ṣe ẹ̀yà Lefi, òun sì ṣe àtìpó níbẹ̀,
8 The man departed out of the city, out of Bethlehem Judah, to live where he could find a place, and he came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, as he travelled.
ọkùnrin náà sì ti ìlú Bẹtilẹhẹmu ti Juda lọ, láti ṣe àtìpó ní ibikíbi tí ó bá rí. Ní ojú ọ̀nà àjò rẹ̀, ó dé ilẹ̀ Mika nínú àwọn ilẹ̀ òkè Efraimu.
9 Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”
Mika bi í pé, “Níbo ni ó ti ń bọ̀?” Ó dáhùn pé, “Ọmọ Lefi ni mí láti Bẹtilẹhẹmu Juda, mo sì ń wá ibi tí èmi yóò máa gbé.”
10 Micah said to him, “Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.
Mika sì sọ fún un wí pé, “Dúró lọ́dọ̀ mi kí ìwọ sì jẹ́ baba mi àti àlùfáà fún mi, èmi ó sì máa fún ọ ní ṣékélì mẹ́wàá fàdákà ní ọdọọdún, pẹ̀lú aṣọ àti oúnjẹ rẹ̀.”
11 The Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
Ọmọ Lefi náà sì gbà láti máa bá a gbé, ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin náà sì dàbí ọ̀kan nínú àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀.
12 Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
Nígbà náà ni Mika ya ará Lefi náà sí mímọ́, ọ̀dọ́mọkùnrin náà sì di àlùfáà rẹ̀, ó sì ń gbé ilé rẹ̀.
13 Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”
Mika sì wí pé, “Báyìí, èmi mọ̀ pé Olúwa yóò ṣe mi ní oore nítorí pé mo ní ọmọ Lefi ní àlùfáà mi.”
