< Isaiah 61 >

1 The Lord GOD’s Spirit is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,
Ẹ̀mí Olúwa Olódùmarè wà lára mi nítorí Olúwa ti fi àmì òróró yàn mí láti wàásù ìyìnrere fún àwọn tálákà. Ó ti rán mi láti ṣe àwòtán oníròbìnújẹ́ láti kéde ìdásílẹ̀ fún àwọn ìgbèkùn àti ìtúsílẹ̀ kúrò nínú òkùnkùn fún àwọn ẹlẹ́wọ̀n,
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
láti kéde ọdún ojúrere Olúwa àti ọjọ́ ẹ̀san ti Ọlọ́run wa, láti tu àwọn tí ń ṣọ̀fọ̀ nínú,
3 to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he may be glorified.
àti láti pèsè fún àwọn tí inú wọn bàjẹ́ ní Sioni láti dé wọn ládé ẹwà dípò eérú, òróró ayọ̀ dípò ọ̀fọ̀, àti aṣọ ìyìn dípò ìpòrúru ọkàn. A ó sì pè wọ́n ní igi óákù òdodo, irúgbìn Olúwa láti fi ọláńlá rẹ̀ hàn.
4 They will rebuild the old ruins. They will raise up the former devastated places. They will repair the ruined cities that have been devastated for many generations.
Wọn yóò tún àwọn ahoro àtijọ́ kọ́ wọn yóò sì mú àwọn ibi ìparun àtijọ́-tijọ́ náà bọ̀ sípò; wọn yóò jí àwọn ahoro ìlú náà padà tí a ti parun láti ìrandíran sẹ́yìn.
5 Strangers will stand and feed your flocks. Foreigners will work your fields and your vineyards.
Àwọn àjèjì ni yóò máa da ọ̀wọ́ ẹran rẹ; àwọn àlejò yóò sì ṣiṣẹ́ nínú oko àti ọgbà àjàrà rẹ.
6 But you will be called the LORD’s priests. Men will call you the servants of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations. You will boast in their glory.
A ó sì máa pè yín ní àlùfáà Olúwa, a ó pè yín ní ìránṣẹ́ Ọlọ́run wa. Ẹ ó máa jẹ nínú ọrọ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè àti nínú ọrọ̀ wọn ni ẹ̀yin yóò máa ṣògo.
7 Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonour, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.
Dípò àbùkù wọn àwọn ènìyàn mi yóò gba ìlọ́po méjì, àti dípò àbùkù wọn wọn yóò yọ̀ nínú ìní wọn; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni wọn yóò sì jogún ìlọ́po méjì ní ilẹ̀ wọn, ayọ̀ ayérayé yóò sì jẹ́ tiwọn.
8 “For I, the LORD, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity. I will give them their reward in truth and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
“Nítorí Èmi, Olúwa fẹ́ràn ìdájọ́ òdodo; mo kórìíra olè jíjà àti ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Ní òtítọ́ mi èmi yóò sẹ̀san fún wọn èmi yóò sì dá májẹ̀mú ayérayé pẹ̀lú wọn.
9 Their offspring will be known amongst the nations, and their offspring amongst the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge them, that they are the offspring which the LORD has blessed.”
A ó mọ ìrandíran wọn láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè àti àwọn ìran wọn láàrín àwọn ènìyàn. Gbogbo àwọn tí ó bá rí wọn yóò mọ̀ pé wọ́n jẹ́ àwọn ènìyàn tí Olúwa ti bùkún.”
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Èmi yọ̀ gidigidi nínú Olúwa; ọkàn mi yọ̀ nínú Ọlọ́run mi. Nítorí ó ti wọ̀ mí ní aṣọ ìgbàlà ó sì ṣe mí lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ nínú aṣọ òdodo; gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọkọ ìyàwó ti ṣe orí rẹ̀ lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ bí àlùfáà, àti bí ìyàwó ṣe ń ṣe ara rẹ̀ lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú ohun ọ̀ṣọ́.
11 For as the earth produces its bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ilẹ̀ ti í mú irúgbìn jáde àti bí ọgbà ṣe ń mú irúgbìn dàgbà, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Olúwa Olódùmarè yóò ṣe mú òdodo àti ìyìn kí ó ru sókè níwájú gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè.
