Hebrews 3
1 Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,
Ndava yeniyo, valongo vangu, vandu vemkemiwi na Chapanga, mhololela Yesu mweatumwili na Chapanga avyayi Mteta Mkulu wa sadika yetijova tikuyisadika kwa milomo yitu.
2 who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
Mwene avili msadikika kwa Chapanga mweamhagwili kuhenga lihengu laki ngati Musa cheavili msadikika mu kuvahengela vandu voha Chapanga, vevakemiwi nyumba ya Chapanga.
3 For he has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, because he who built the house has more honour than the house.
Nambu Yesu iganikiwa utopesa neju kuliku Musa ngati mjengaji wa nyumba cheipata utopesa neju kuliku nyumba yene.
4 For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
Nyumba yeyoha yijengwa na mundu nunuyu, nambu Chapanga ndi mjengaji wa vindu vyoha.
5 Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken,
Musa avili muhengaji msadikika kwa vandu voha va Chapanga, vevakemiwi nyumba ya Chapanga. Ajovili kugavala mambu, Chapanga geakugajova kulongolo.
6 but Christ is faithful as a Son over his house. We are his house, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.
Nambu Kilisitu avili msadikika ngati Mwana munyumba ya Chapanga. Tete ndi nyumba ya Chapanga ngati tiyendelelela kuvya vakekesi na kumekela chila chetihuvalila.
7 Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice,
Ndava muni, ngati cheijova Mpungu Msopi mu Mayandiku Gamsopi, “Lelu mukayuwana lwami lwa Chapanga,
8 don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
mkoto kukita mitima yinu yinonopa, ngati vagogo vinu pevanibelili kuniyidakila, lukumbi lula pevanilingili kulugangatu.
9 where your fathers tested me and tried me, and saw my deeds for forty years.
Kwenuko vagogo vinu vanilingili na kunilingulila, pamonga valolili matendu gangu pa miyaka alobaini!
10 Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways.’
Ndava yeniyo nachiyomili chiveleku chenicho najovili, ‘Vandu ava vibuda mumitima yavi magono goha, vilanda lepi njila zangu.’
11 As I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’”
Hinu, nilapa kwa ligoga langu kuvya, ‘Viyingila lepi katu pandu pa kupumulila.’”
12 Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;
Hinu valongo vangu, mjiyangalila mumitima yinu akotoka kuvya mundu pagati yinu mweavi na mtima uhakau wangasadika, weukujibagula na Chapanga mweavi mumi.
13 but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called “today”, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
Nambu mkangamalisanayi mtima, lelikemelewa “Lelu” Yeyisomwa mu Mayandiku kila ligono, muni akotoka kuvya hati mmonga pagati yinu mweavi na mtima unonopo kwa kukongiwa na kuvya mndindani.
14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end,
Ndava muni tete tiwungana na Kilisitu, yikavya tikamulana na huvalila ya chakaka yetavili nayu kuhumila kutumbula mbaka mwishu.
15 while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”
Ngati Mayandiku Gamsopi chegijova, “Ngati mwiyuwana lwami lwa Chapanga lelu, Mitima yinu yikoto kunonopa, ngati chevakitili vagogo vinu pavabelili kumyidakila Chapanga.”
16 For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses?
Hinu, vandu voki vevayuwini lwami lwa Chapanga na kubela kumyidakila? Wu, lepi vala voha vevalongwisi na Musa kuhuma mulima wa ku Misili?
17 With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
Chapanga avayomili vayani mumiyaka alobaini? Avayomili vandu vala vevambudili Chapanga? Na mituhi yavi yadandasiki kulugangatu.
18 To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
Kangi Chapanga pealapili avajovili vayani kuvya, “Katu yati viyingila lepi pamulima wangu na kupumulila,” Avajovayi vandu vevabelili kumyidakila?
19 We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.
Hinu, tilola kuvya vahotwili lepi kuyingili kwenuko, ndava ya kubela kusamdika Chapanga.
