Ezekiel 28
1 The LORD’s word came again to me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
2 “Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and no god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god—
Hijo del hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy Dios, en el asiento de Dios estoy sentado en medio de las mares, siendo tú hombre, y no Dios; y pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios:
3 behold, you are wiser than Daniel. There is no secret that is hidden from you.
He aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel: nada hay oculto que a ti sea oculto:
4 By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.
Con tu sabiduría, y con tu prudencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;
5 By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”
Con la multitud de sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y a causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.
6 “‘therefore the Lord GOD says: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,
Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios:
7 therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your brightness.
Por tanto he aquí que yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de las naciones, que desvainarán sus espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu resplandor.
8 They will bring you down to the pit. You will die the death of those who are slain in the heart of the seas.
En la sepultura te harán descender, y morirás de las muertes de los que mueren en medio de las mares.
9 Will you yet say before him who kills you, ‘I am God’? But you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.
¿Hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy Dios? Tú hombre serás, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.’”
De muertes de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños; porque yo he hablado, dijo el Señor Jehová.
11 Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘The Lord GOD says: “You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y decirle has: así dijo el Señor Jehová: Tú sellas la suma, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. They were prepared in the day that you were created.
En Edén, en el huerto de Dios, estuviste: toda piedra preciosa fue tu vestidura: sardio, topacio, diamante, turquesa, ónix, y berilo, zafiro, carbúnculo, y esmeralda, y oro: las obras de tus atambores y de tus pífanos estuvieron apercibidas en ti el día que fuiste creado.
14 You were the anointed cherub who covers. Then I set you up on the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.
Tú, querubín grande, que cubre, y yo te puse: en el santo monte de Dios estuviste: en medio de piedras de fuego anduviste.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
Acabado eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste creado, hasta que se halló maldad en ti.
16 By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.
A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de iniquidad, y pecaste; y yo te eché del monte de Dios, y te eché a mal de entre las piedras de fuego, o! querubín que cubre.
17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendour. I have cast you to the ground. I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
Enaltecióse tu corazón a causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría a causa de tu resplandor: yo te arrojaré por tierra: delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.
18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the middle of you. It has devoured you. I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.
Con la multitud de tus maldades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario: yo pues saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió; y te puse en ceniza sobre la tierra en los ojos de todos los que te miran.
19 All those who know you amongst the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.”’”
Todos los que te conocieron en los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti: conturbado fuiste, y nunca más serás para siempre.
20 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
21 “Son of man, set your face towards Sidon, and prophesy against it,
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro sobre Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;
22 and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified amongst you. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have executed judgements in her, and am sanctified in her.
Y dirás: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo contra ti, o! Sidón, y seré glorificado en medio de ti; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y me santificare en ella.
23 For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets. The wounded will fall within her, with the sword on her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
Y enviaré en ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas, y caerán muertos en medio de ella con espada contra ella al derredor: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
24 “‘“There will no longer be a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”
Y nunca más será a la casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espino que le dé dolor, en todos los al derredores de los que los menosprecían; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
25 “‘The Lord GOD says: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples amongst whom they are scattered, and am shown as holy amongst them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Cuando juntaré la casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, y en ellos me santificaré en los ojos de las gentes, habitarán sobre su tierra, la cual di a mi siervo Jacob.
26 They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgements on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.”’”
Y habitarán sobre ella seguros; y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haré juicios en todos los que los saquean en sus al derredores; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
