< Deuteronomy 15 >

1 At the end of every seven years, you shall cancel debts.
Ie amy ze fipeaha’ ty taom-paha-fito, le mañahà irehe.
2 This is the way it shall be done: every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbour. He shall not require payment from his neighbour and his brother, because the LORD’s release has been proclaimed.
Intoy ty satam-pañahàñe: havotso’ ze kila mpampisongo am’ondatio ty nampisongoe’e; tsy ho paiae’e am’indatiy ndra aman-drahalahi’e, amy te kinoike ty fañahà’ Iehovà.
3 Of a foreigner you may require it; but whatever of yours is with your brother, your hand shall release.
Aa naho ty renetane, le azo’o ampañavahañe, fe havotsom-pità’o ze azo aman-dongo’o;
4 However there will be no poor with you (for the LORD will surely bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to possess)
ie amy zao, tsy ho ama’ areo ao ty rarake; amy te vata’e hampibodobodoe’ Iehovà an-tane atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azo ho tavaneñe ho lova;
5 if only you diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, to observe to do all this commandment which I command you today.
naho toe haoñe’o horiheñe ty fiarañanaña’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o hambena’o hanoeñe ze hene lily lilieko azo androany.
6 For the LORD your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
Amy te hitahy azo t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, amy nitsarae’e ama’oy, naho hampisongo foko maro irehe fa ihe tsy hisongo, vaho hifehe foko maro irehe f’ie tsy hamelek’ azo.
7 If a poor man, one of your brothers, is with you within any of your gates in your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother;
Aa naho ama’o ao ty longo’o rarake ndra an-tanàñe aia’aia an-tane atolo’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azo, le ko azì’o ty arofo’o ndra mamore-pitañe amy longo’o rarakey.
8 but you shall surely open your hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, which he lacks.
Fe adañadañao ama’e ty fità’o le ampisongò aze ze hahaatsake i paia’e tsy ama’ey.
9 Beware that there not be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, “The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,” and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing; and he cry to the LORD against you, and it be sin to you.
Asoao tsy ho añ’arofo’o ao ty fikiniàn-draty manao ty hoe, Fa an-titotse ty taom-pahafito, i taom-pañahàñey; le tsy hihevea’o maso i longo’o rarakey, hitolora’o, vaho ie mitoreo azo am’ Iehovà le hakeo ama’o.
10 You shall surely give, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because it is for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to.
Toe ho tolora’o, naho tsy hiore ty arofo’o amy natolo’o ama’ey amy t’ie ro hampiraoraòa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azo amy ze hene tolon-draha’o, ze fitoloñam-pità’o iaby.
11 For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command you to surely open your hand to your brother, to your needy, and to your poor, in your land.
Aa kanao le lia’e tsy himiañe an-tane ao o rarakeo, le hoe ty andiliako azo, Ampidañadañao amy longo’o rarakey naho amy mpitavañ’ay an-tane’oy ty fità’o.
12 If your brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you shall let him go free from you.
Aa naho aletak’ ama’o ty longo’o lahilahy nte-Evre ndra ty ampela nte-Evre vaho mitoroñe azo enen-taon-dre, le avotsoro amy taom-pahafito.
13 When you let him go free from you, you shall not let him go empty.
Le ie haha’o ama’o, ko ado’o hienga azo an-tañam-polo.
14 You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, out of your threshing floor, and out of your wine press. As the LORD your God has blessed you, you shall give to him.
Ho fahana’o am-patarihañe boak’ amy lia-rai’oy naho boak’ an-driha’o ao, vaho boak’ am-pipiritan-divai’o ao; amo nitahia’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o azoo ty handiva’o ama’e.
15 You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you. Therefore I command you this thing today.
Tiahio t’ie niondevo an-tane Mitsraime añe, vaho nijebañ’ azo t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o; izay ty andiliako ama’o androany.
16 It shall be, if he tells you, “I will not go out from you,” because he loves you and your house, because he is well with you,
F’ie manao ty hoe ama’o, Tsy hienga azo iraho; amy te ikokoa’e naho i hasavereña’oy vaho mierañerañe ao.
17 then you shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your servant forever. Also to your female servant you shall do likewise.
Le andrambeso fitsindrike le trofaho an-dalambei’o eo ty ravembia’e vaho ho fetrek’oro’o nainai’e re, le ano izay ka ty ondevo’o ampela;
18 It shall not seem hard to you when you let him go free from you, for he has been double the value of a hired hand as he served you six years. The LORD your God will bless you in all that you do.
vaho tsy hañembets’ azo ty hañaha aze ama’o hidada mb’eo amy t’ie nanahake ty mpieke roe ama’o amy nitoroña’e azo enen-taoñey: le hitahy azo amy ze hene fitoloña’o t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o.
19 You shall dedicate all the firstborn males that are born of your herd and of your flock to the LORD your God. You shall do no work with the firstborn of your herd, nor shear the firstborn of your flock.
Havahe’o ho am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o ze hene valohan’ anake lahi’e natera’ o añombe’oo naho o lia-rai’oo, naho tsy hampitoloñe’o ty valohan’ anak’ añombe’o, vaho tsy ho kitsihe’o ty valohan’ anak’ añondri’o.
20 You shall eat it before the LORD your God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, you and your household.
Ho kamae’o añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o boa-taoñe izay amy toetse ho joboñe’ Iehovày, ihe naho o añ’anjomba’oo.
21 If it has any defect—is lame or blind, or has any defect whatever, you shall not sacrifice it to the LORD your God.
Aa ihe aman-kandra, ke mbiko ke goa he aman-kila, le tsy hisoroñe am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’o.
22 You shall eat it within your gates. The unclean and the clean shall eat it alike, as the gazelle and as the deer.
Hikama’o an-drova’o ao: songa hitrao-pikama ama’e ty tsy malio naho ty malio, manahake t’ie tsebý ndra aiàle.
23 Only you shall not eat its blood. You shall pour it out on the ground like water.
Fe tsy ho kamae’o ka ty lio’e fa hadoa’o hoe rano an-tane eo.
