1 For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,

Hima hih ko thona abi chu mulungrîl hâinân an hong sipa, male lungkhamnân munkhatin an inchunna, riettheina adikin an dôn ngâi rietminthârna akipdir an dôn theina rangin ani. Ma anghan Pathien chonginthup hah hong riet an ta, ma Khrista nanâk hah ani.

3 in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

Ama hih Pathien vârna le rietna rochon inthupngei mo-ongna châbi ani.

4 Now I say this that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.

Hanchu, nangni ki ril, tutên inkhalna dikloiin nangni huong no rese ngei, idôra asa angin khom inlang rese ngeia ite nimak ngei.

5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

Taksân nin kôm om khom no ronga, hannom ratha'n chu nin kôm ko om tit ngâi, male Khrista taksônna lehan munkhatin nin inding detna inruol hah ku mu anghan ka râiasân ani.

6 As therefore you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him,

Khrista Jisua hah Pumapa'n nin lei pomsai anghan, ama leh inzomin om tit roi.

7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.

Ama han ruzung inthûk mathâk ungla, nin ringna hah ama chunga sinminding ungla, male nin taksônna han hong rât uol roi, minchua nin om anghan. Râisân chongrilna leh sip sa roi.

8 Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elemental spirits of the world, and not after Christ.

Hanchu, tutên Khrista renga niloiin miriem kuta pêk, minchunangei renga le rammuol ratha saloingei roijêkna renga miriem vârna sika huongna kâmnângloi suokin nangni an sin loina rangin indîn roi.

9 For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily,

10 and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.

11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ,

Khrista leh nin inzomna han sertan nin ni zoi, miriemngei sertan an tho anghan niloiin, Khrista sertana leh hi taksa nunsie sinthotheina renga sanminjôkna lehin.

12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Baptis nin chang han Khrista leh phûmin nin om zoia, male ma baptisma nanâk han thina renga a kaithoipu Pathien sinthotheina hah taksônna nin dôn sikin Khrista leh kaithoiin nin om sa zoi.

13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

Moton han chu nin sietnangei sikin le Jentail Balam boi nin ni sikin rathatienga thi nin lei ni. Aniatachu Pathien'n atûn chu Khrista leh nin inzomna han nangni a minring zoi. Pathien'n ei sietnangei murdi mi ngâidam zoia;

14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us. He has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.

ei lâkâi intângngei lungkhamna chang phâkloi ranga mizieka omngei leh balam mikhit ngâi ngei hah khâi paiin Khrosa peret leh jêmdelin a minhek suozoi ani.

15 Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Ma khros chunga han Khrista'n ratha roijêkpungei le rachamneipungei sinthotheina renga ama nanâkin jôkpaiin; ma a menênangei hah mitin mu rangin a minlang zoi ani.

16 Let no one therefore judge you in eating or drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,

Masikin nin sâk, nin nêk roia, aninônchu nikhuo inthieng ngei roia aninônchu Tha Thar Khohoia aninônchu Sabbathni roia mini, tutên roineina nangni dôn pe no rese ngei.

17 which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ’s.

Ma anga neinunngei murdi hah chu sûnmotona neinun hongom rang ngei rilîm vai kêng an nia; atatak chu Khrista ani.

18 Let no one rob you of your prize by self-abasement and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Tukhom inlârna adangviek ngei mu sikin ânchungtak ni ranga, misîra, nunnêmna dikloi dôn rang le vântîrtonngei chubaimûk rang ti ngei han theiloi nangni minchang rangin nangni nanâkin inphal no roi. Mangei hah ite ni uol makngei, ma anga mingei hah chu an miriem mindonân ânpâk an nia

19 and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God’s growth.

male mangei han takpum lu Khrista hah mutu khâi mak ngei. Khrista enkolna nuoia takpumpui hah asân donsuiin, rolo le ratharûi inchunna ngei le ânzomna ngei hah munkhata minchunin, Pathien'n ânsôn ranga a nuom anghan ânsôn ngâi ani.

20 If you died with Christ from the elemental spirits of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,

Khrista leh nin thia hi rammuol rathangei renga nin jôksaipiel hah, ithomo rammuol mingei anghan nin la om bang? Ithomo hi balamngei,

21 “Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch”

“Mang no roh,” “Sâk no roh,” “Tôn no roh,” ti ngei hih nin jôma?

22 (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?

Mangei hah chu miriemngei an sin balamngei le minchunangei an nia; vêlkhat mang suonûkin chu kâmnângloi neinunngei kêng an ni.

23 These things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body, but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Hi rangrâta vântîrtonngei chubaimûk rang ti mo, nunnêmna dikloi dôn rang ti mo, takpum dûkmintong rang ti ngei mo hi vârna chunga ânngamin inlang khom rese ngeia; taksa ôinangei enkolna rangin chu alutna diktak dôn mak ngei ani.
