< 3 John 1 >

1 The elder to Gaius the beloved, whom I love in truth.
Bura manu pora morom thaka Gaius ekjon cholawta ke likhi ase, kunke moi hosa pora morom kore.
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
Morom laga bhai, Moi prathana kore tumi logote sob bhal thakibo aru tumi laga gaw bhi bhal thakibo, tumi laga atma bhal kori kene thaka nisena.
3 For I rejoiced greatly when brothers came and testified about your truth, even as you walk in truth.
Kelemane moi khushi pai jitia bhai khan ahi kene tumi hosa te berai thaka laga gawahi diye, tumi hosa te berai thaka nisena.
4 I have no greater joy than this: to hear about my children walking in truth.
Moi etu pora aru dangor khushi nai, jitia ami laga bacha khan hosa rasta te berai ase koi kene moi hune.
5 Beloved, you do a faithful work in whatever you accomplish for those who are brothers and strangers.
Morom laga bhai, tumi biswas pora ki kori ase etu tumi bhai khan nimite aru bahar manu khan nimite kori ase
6 They have testified about your love before the assembly. You will do well to send them forward on their journey in a way worthy of God,
kun pora tumikhan laga morom kora laga gawahi girja manu khan laga usorte dise. Isor laga usorte bhal mohima hobole nimite tumi manu ke bhal pora saikene taikhan ke safar kori bole pathai dibi,
7 because for the sake of the Name they went out, taking nothing from the Gentiles.
kelemane Isor laga naam nimite taikhan ulaikene jaise, aru Porjati manu khan pora eku luwa nai.
8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we may be fellow workers for the truth.
Amikhan bhi taikhan ke mati bole lage, etu pora amikhan bhi hosa te kaam kora sathi hoi jabo.
9 I wrote to the assembly, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first amongst them, doesn’t accept what we say.
Moi manu khan nimite kiba likhise, kintu Diotrephes, kun manu laga age te thaki bole nimite bhal pai, tai amikhan ke swekar nakore.
10 Therefore, if I come, I will call attention to his deeds which he does, unjustly accusing us with wicked words. Not content with this, he doesn’t receive the brothers himself, and those who would, he forbids and throws out of the assembly.
Jodi moi ahe, Moi tai ki kaam kori ase etu sabo, amikhan laga bhirodh te biya kotha kori ase. Kintu eneka kori kene bhi khushi panai, tai nijor pora bhi bhai kokai khan ke mati bole mon nai, aru kun manu ke mati bole mon kore taikhan ke rukhai diye aru girja laga bahar te ulai diye.
11 Beloved, don’t imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is of God. He who does evil hasn’t seen God.
Morom laga bhai, biya kaam khan nokoribi kintu ki to bhal kaam ase etu he koribi. Kun manu bhal kaam kore tai Isor laga ase; aru kun manu biya kaam kore tai Isor ke dikha nai.
12 Demetrius has the testimony of all, and of the truth itself; yes, we also testify, and you know that our testimony is true.
Demetrius ke sob manu pora aru hosa pora tai nijor laga gawahi diye. Kintu amikhan bhi gawahi diye, aru tumikhan jane amikhan laga gawahi to hosa ase.
13 I had many things to write to you, but I am unwilling to write to you with ink and pen;
Moi tumikhan ke bisi kotha likhi bole ase, kintu moi kolom aru siyahi pora etu kotha khan tumikhan ke likhi bole mon nai.
14 but I hope to see you soon. Then we will speak face to face. Peace be to you. The friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
Kintu moi tumikhan ke joldi lok pabole itcha kori ase, titia moi khan ekjon-ekjon logote bohi kene kotha koribo. Tumikhan logote shanti thaki bole dibi. Sathi khan bhi tumikhan ke salam di ase. Naam loi kene ta te thaka sathi khan ke salam di dibi.
