< Psalms 146 >

1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, my soul.
Alleluia, Aggaei, et Zachariae.
2 While I live, I will praise the LORD. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.
Lauda anima mea Dominum, laudabo Dominum in vita mea: psallam Deo meo quamdiu fuero. Nolite confidere in principibus:
3 Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.
in filiis hominum, in quibus non est salus.
4 His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.
Exibit spiritus eius, et revertetur in terram suam: in illa die peribunt omnes cogitationes eorum.
5 Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD, his God,
Beatus, cuius Deus Iacob adiutor eius, spes eius in Domino Deo ipsius:
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
qui fecit caelum et terram, mare, et omnia, quae in eis sunt.
7 who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.
Qui custodit veritatem in saeculum, facit iudicium iniuriam patientibus: dat escam esurientibus. Dominus solvit compeditos:
8 The LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises up those who are bowed down. The LORD loves the righteous.
Dominus illuminat caecos. Dominus erigit elisos, Dominus diligit iustos.
9 The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.
Dominus custodit advenas, pupillum et viduam suscipiet: et vias peccatorum disperdet.
10 The LORD will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
Regnabit Dominus in saecula Deus tuus Sion, in generatione et generationem.
