Psalms 130

1 A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to you, LORD.

Cântico dos degraus: Das profundezas clamo a ti, SENHOR.

2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

Ouve, Senhor, a minha voz; sejam teus ouvidos atentos à voz de minhas súplicas.

3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

Se tu, SENHOR, considerares todas as perversidades, quem resistirá, Senhor?

4 But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

Mas contigo está o perdão, para que tu sejas temido.

5 I wait for the LORD. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

Mantenho esperança no SENHOR, a minha alma espera; e persisto em sua palavra.

6 My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.

Minha alma [espera ansiosamente] pelo Senhor, mais que os guardas [esperam] pela manhã, [mais] que os vigilantes pelo alvorecer.

7 Israel, hope in the LORD, for there is loving kindness with the LORD. Abundant redemption is with him.

Espere, Israel, pelo SENHOR; porque com o SENHOR há bondade, e com ele muito resgate.

8 He will redeem Israel from all their sins.

E ele resgatará Israel de todas as suas perversidades.
