< Numbers 19 >

1 The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
Pakaiyin Mose henga hiti hin aseijin ahi.
2 “This is the statute of the law which the LORD has commanded. Tell the children of Israel to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no defect, and which was never yoked.

3 You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face.
Hiche bongnou san chu Eleazer thempu chu petan chuteng ngahmum pam lamah Eleazer thempupa masanga athisa nakatdoh diu ahi.
4 Eleazar the priest shall take some of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood towards the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.
Eleazer thempupan gan thisen chu akhotna anu matna Pathen houbuh maicham masang lamah sagi vei atheh khum ding ahi.
5 One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her meat, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn.
Eleazer thempupa chun hiche bongnousan chu athisan jaona aboncha meiya ahalvam hel ding ahiye.
6 The priest shall take cedar wood, hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the middle of the burning of the heifer.
Eleazer thempu chun thing khat chu alan akhoilu pehjong asanna kitom chu bongnou meiya kihal lah achu ahal vam ding ahi.
7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.
Eleazer thempu chun aponsil akisuh ngimding tuija kisil ngim ding, hiche ho akichai teng ngahmuna hung kinung le ding kisuh thengna chu nilhah lam le aneithei ding ahi.
8 He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.
Pasal koi tobang Gancha gouvam ma pang chun tuija avon aponho asoptheng selding amatah jeng jong tuiya kisil ngimsel ding chule nilhah khojin tokah’a atheng louva um ding ahi.
9 “A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for use in water for cleansing impurity. It is a sin offering.
Chule koi tobang aki sutheng sella umpa chun hiche bongnou chal asen chu achom khomma, ngahmun pam muntheng lah a akoi tup ding, hiche meivam khat nadi ho chu Israel mite manchah tuija ki suhthengna dia akikoi diu ahi. Hiche kintheng natoh na ding hi chonset sopthengna’a man chah ding ahi.
10 He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. It shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner amongst them, for a statute forever.
Hiche pasal bongchal san ki halvam na aloh apang pa chun avon ashang khol jouse akisop theng cheh ding, chule nilhah khojin tokah geiya amapa chu aboh’a umding, hiche dan kisem hi Israel miten akhang akhanga ajuidiu amaho lah’a koitobang chiding namdang aching hon jong ajui cheh diu ahi.
11 “He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.
Koi hi jong leh, thilong tham kha aum tah leh nisagi aboh a um ding ahi.
12 He shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean; but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.
Amaho chu hito bang a nithum le ni sagi alhin teng tuija kisuthenga umdiu, amaho chu nisagi sunga chu akisuh theng tah lou ule, hapta khat le ni sagi hung lhing tah jong leh atheng lou aboh a um ding ahiuve.
13 Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles the LORD’s tabernacle; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is yet on him.

14 “This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.
Hiche danbu kisuh thengna dinga kisem hi hitia manchah ding, koi tobang ponbuh noija aum pettah uva ahung thikhah leh houbuh sunga umjouse mithi long in adal pha chan chu ni sagi atheng lou aboh’a umjing diu ahi.
15 Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.
Thilkeu kong le lheng ipi hita jong leh asin kisin loupet na kitung kha thil ponbuh sung nga umjouse chu aboh atheng louva kisim ding ahi.
16 “Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.
Tollhang a um mihem long athisa ho, chemjam a kithat hihen, athikam hihen, mi thisa gu le chang ho hijong leh thamkha penpen chu ni sagi sung’a aboh’a umding ahitai.
17 “For the unclean, they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be poured on them in a vessel.
Hiche mi kisuboh pa suhtheng thei na dia chu; govam thilto a Bongchal kigona vam chu na lah uva, Leibel a na khum diu thuitheng chu na sunkhum diu ahi.
18 A clean person shall take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all the vessels, on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave.
TChuteng aki suboh lou mikhat chun, Hyssop tui alah a tuija ade lut ding, Hiche pa chun Ponbuh ahin, Bonbuh kisonna jol ho ahin, ponbuh sung’a um miho ahin, mi thikam leh mithigu tongkha jouse ahin, ahi lou leh Lhangoh keu thamkha ho ham chu tuitheng toh hyssop chu athin khum a asuh theng ding ahi.
19 The clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. On the seventh day, he shall purify him. He shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.
Nikthum lhinni jong leh athenga um jingpa chun aki suboh jouse chu a thinkhum jing nahlai ding ahi. Ni sagi alhion ni leh aki suboh miho chu amaho leh amaho kisil theng uva, avon ho’u kisoptheng untin, abohna uva konna atheng hi diu ahitai.
20 But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from amongst the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him. He is unclean.
Ahilah amaho lah a koi tobang aki suhboh naho kisuh thenglou changse vang chu mipi lah’a konna kichom khen ahi tauve. Ajeh chu amahon Pathen houin chu asuhboh u ahi tai. Ki suhtheng na dia tui kithin khum chu a chung uva chukha talou ahi jeh a, aboh a umjing ding ahi tauve.
21 It shall be a perpetual statute to them. He who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.
Hiche hi mipi ho ding nga dan phat sottah a ding ahin koi hita jong leh tui kithe khum jouse jong avon le apon’u aki soptheng cheh diu, koi tobang kisuhtheng na tui tham kha aum leh jong nilhah lang geija atheng louva um ding ahiuve.
22 “Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
Mihem hihen thilkeu hita jong leh aki suboh pan athamkhah jouse chu nilhah geija aboh a kisim ding ahi.
