< Matthew 25 >
1 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
“Nthawi imeneyo ufumu wakumwamba udzafanizidwa ndi anamwali khumi amene anatenga nyale zawo napita kukakumana ndi mkwati.
2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.
Asanu anali opusa ndipo asanu ena anali ochenjera.
3 Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,
Opusawo anatenga nyale zawo koma sanatenge mafuta;
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
koma ochenjerawo anatenga mafuta awo mʼmabotolo pamodzi ndi nyale zawo.
5 Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
Mkwati anachedwa ndipo onse anayamba kusinza nagona.
6 But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’
“Pakati pa usiku kunamveka kufuwula kuti, ‘Onani Mkwati! Tulukani kuti mukakumane naye!’
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
“Pamenepo anamwali onse anadzuka nayatsa nyale zawo.
8 The foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
Opusawo anati kwa ochenjerawo, ‘Tipatseniko mafuta anu; nyale zathu zikuzima.’
9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘What if there isn’t enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
“Ochenjerawo anayankha, nati, ‘Ayi sangakwanire inu ndi ife. Pitani kwa ogulitsa mafuta ndi kukadzigulira nokha.’
10 While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.
“Koma pamene ankapita kukagula mafutawo, mkwati anafika. Anamwali amene anali okonzeka aja analowa naye pamodzi mʼnyumba ya phwando la ukwati. Ndipo khomo linatsekedwa.
11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’
“Pambuyo pake enawo anabwera nati, ‘Ambuye! Ambuye! Titsekulireni!’
12 But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
“Koma iye anayankha kuti, ‘Zoonadi, ine ndikuwuzani kuti sindikukudziwani.’
13 Watch therefore, for you don’t know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
“Choncho khalani odikira, popeza simudziwa tsiku kapena nthawi.”
14 “For it is like a man going into another country, who called his own servants and entrusted his goods to them.
“Komanso udzafanizidwa ndi munthu amene ankapita pa ulendo, ndipo anayitana antchito ake nawasiyira chuma chake.
15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his own ability. Then he went on his journey.
Wina anamupatsa ndalama 5,000, kwa wina 2,000 ndi kwa wina 1,000. Aliyense monga mwa nzeru zake. Pamenepo anapita pa ulendo wake.
16 Immediately he who received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
Munthu amene analandira ndalama 5,000 uja, anapita nthawi yomweyo nachita nazo malonda napindula 5,000 zina.
17 In the same way, he also who got the two gained another two.
Chimodzimodzinso amene analandira 2,000 uja anapindula 2,000 zina.
18 But he who received the one talent went away and dug in the earth and hid his lord’s money.
Koma munthu amene analandira 1,000 uja, anapita nakumba dzenje nabisapo ndalama ya mbuye wake.
19 “Now after a long time the lord of those servants came, and settled accounts with them.
“Patapita nthawi yayitali, mbuye wa antchitowo anabwera nawayitana kuti afotokoze chimene anachita ndi ndalama zija.
20 He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’
Munthu amene analandira ndalama 5,000 uja anabweretsa 5,000 zina nati, ‘Ambuye munandisungitsa 5,000, taonani ndapindula 5,000 zinanso.’
21 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
“Ambuye ake anayankha nati, ‘Wachita bwino, wantchito wabwino ndi wokhulupirika iwe! Wakhala wokhulupirika pa zinthu zochepa; ndidzakuyika iwe kukhala woyangʼanira zinthu zambiri. Bwera, udzakondwere pamodzi ndi mbuye wako!’
22 “He also who got the two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents in addition to them.’
“Munthu amene anali ndi ndalama 2,000 uja anabweranso nati, ‘Ambuye munandisungitsa 2,000, onani, ndapindula 2,000 zinanso.’
23 “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things. I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
“Mbuye wake anayankha nati, ‘Wachita bwino, wantchito wabwino ndi wokhulupirika! Wakhala wokhulupirika pa zinthu zochepa; ndidzakuyika kukhala woyangʼanira zinthu zambiri. Bwera, udzakondwere pamodzi ndi mbuye wako!’
24 “He also who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.
“Kenaka munthu amene analandira ndalama 1,000 uja anabwera nati, ‘Ambuye ndinadziwa kuti ndinu munthu wowuma mtima, amene mumakolola pamene simunadzale ndi kututa kumene simunafese.
25 I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the earth. Behold, you have what is yours.’
Choncho ndinachita mantha ndipo ndinapita ndi kukabisa ndalama yanuyo pa dzenje. Onani, si iyi ndalama yanu ija.’
26 “But his lord answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant. You knew that I reap where I didn’t sow, and gather where I didn’t scatter.
“Mbuye wake anayankha nati, ‘Iwe wantchito woyipa ndi waulesi! Iwe umadziwa kuti ndimakolola pamene sindinadzale, ndi kututa kumene sindinafese.
27 You ought therefore to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received back my own with interest.
Bwanji sunayike ndalama yanga kwa osunga ndalama kuti ine pobwera ndidzalandire ndalama yangayo pamodzi ndi chiwongoladzanja?
28 Take away therefore the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents.
“‘Mulandeni ndalamayo, ndipo patsani iye amene ali ndi ndalama 10,000.
29 For to everyone who has will be given, and he will have abundance, but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away.
Pakuti aliyense amene ali nazo adzapatsidwa zambiri, ndipo adzakhala nazo zochuluka. Aliyense amene alibe adzalandidwa ngakhale chimene ali nacho.
30 Throw out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Ndipo muponyeni wantchito wopanda phinduyu kunja, ku mdima kumene kudzakhala kulira ndi kukukuta mano.’”
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.
“Pamene Mwana wa Munthu adzabwera mu ulemerero wake, pamodzi ndi angelo ake onse, adzakhala pa mpando waufumu mu ulemerero wakumwamba.
32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Mitundu yonse ya anthu idzasonkhanitsidwa pamaso pake, ndipo adzawalekanitsa iwo wina ndi mnzake monga mʼbusa amalekanitsa nkhosa ndi mbuzi.
33 He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Adzayika nkhosa ku dzanja lake lamanja ndi mbuzi ku lamanzere.
34 Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
“Pamenepo mfumu idzati kwa a ku dzanja lamanja, ‘Bwerani inu odalitsika ndi Atate anga; landirani ufumu umene unakonzedwa chifukwa cha inu kuyambira pachiyambi cha dziko.
35 for I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in.
Pakuti ndinali ndi njala ndipo munandipatsa chakudya, ndinali ndi ludzu ndipo munandipatsa madzi akumwa, ndinali mlendo ndipo munandilandira,
36 I was naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.’
ndinali wausiwa ndipo munandiveka, ndinali wodwala ndipo munandisamalira, ndinali ku ndende ndipo inu munandiyendera.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink?
“Ndipo olungamawo adzamuyankha kuti, ‘Ambuye ndi liti tinakuonani muli ndi njala ndipo tinakudyetsani, kapena ludzu ndipo tinakupatsani madzi akumwa?
38 When did we see you as a stranger and take you in, or naked and clothe you?
Ndi liti tinakuonani muli mlendo ndipo tinakulandirani, kapena wa usiwa ndipo tinakuvekani?
39 When did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’
Ndi liti tinakuonani mutadwala kapena ku ndende ndipo tinakuyenderani?’
40 “The King will answer them, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
“Mfumu idzayankha kuti, ‘Zoonadi, ndikuwuzani kuti chilichonse chimene munachitira mmodzi wa abale anga onyozekawa munandichitira Ine.’
41 Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; (aiōnios )
“Pamenepo adzanena kwa akumanzere kwake kuti, ‘Chokani kwa Ine, inu otembereredwa, pitani ku moto wosatha wokonzedwera mdierekezi ndi angelo ake. (aiōnios )
42 for I was hungry, and you didn’t give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink;
Pakuti ndinali ndi njala ndipo simunandipatse chakudya, ndinali ndi ludzu ndipo simunandipatse madzi akumwa,
43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t take me in; naked, and you didn’t clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’
ndinali mlendo koma inu simunandilandire, ndinali wa usiwa koma simunandiveke, ndinali wodwala komanso ku ndende simunandisamalire.’
44 “Then they will also answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and didn’t help you?’
“Iwo adzayankha kuti, ‘Ambuye ndi liti tinakuonani muli ndi njala kapena ludzu kapena mlendo kapena wausiwa kapena wodwala kapena mʼndende, ndipo kuti sitinakuthandizeni?’
45 “Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’
“Iye adzayankha kuti, ‘Zoonadi, ndikuwuzani kuti chilichonse chimene simunachitire mmodzi wa abale anga onyozekawa simunandichitire Ine.’
46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (aiōnios )
“Amenewa adzapita ku chilango chosatha pamene olungama ku moyo wosatha.” (aiōnios )
