< Mark 12 >

1 He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
Kenaka Iye anayamba kuyankhula nawo mʼmafanizo: “Munthu wina analima munda wamphesa. Anamanga mpanda mozungulira, nakumba dzenje lofinyiramo mphesa ndipo anamanga nsanja. Anawubwereketsa munda wamphesawo kwa alimi ena napita ku dziko lina.
2 When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
Pa nthawi yokolola anatumiza wantchito kwa alimiwo kuti akatenge kuchokera kwa iwo zina mwa zipatso za munda wamphesa.
3 They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
Koma iwo anamugwira, namumenya ndi kumupirikitsa wopanda kanthu.
4 Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
Kenaka anatumizanso wantchito wina kwa iwo. Iwo anamumenya munthuyo pamutu ndipo anamuzunza mochititsa manyazi.
5 Again he sent another, and they killed him, and many others, beating some, and killing some.
Anatumizanso wina, ndipo iwo anamupha. Anatumizanso ena ambiri; ena a iwo anawamenya, ena anawapha.
6 Therefore still having one, his beloved son, he sent him last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
“Munthu uja anatsala ndi mwana mmodzi, wamwamuna amene amamukonda. Pomaliza anamutumiza mwanayo nati, ‘Adzamuchitira ulemu mwana wanga.’
7 But those farmers said amongst themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
“Koma alimi aja anati kwa wina ndi mnzake, ‘Uyu ndi mlowamʼmalo. Tiyeni timuphe, ndipo cholowacho chidzakhala chathu.’
8 They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.
Ndipo anamutenga ndi kumupha, ndipo anamuponya kunja kwa munda wamphesa.
9 What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the farmers, and will give the vineyard to others.
“Kodi nanga mwini munda wamphesa adzachita chiyani? Iye adzabwera ndi kupha alimiwo nadzapereka munda wamphesawo kwa ena.
10 Haven’t you even read this Scripture: ‘The stone which the builders rejected was made the head of the corner.
Kodi simunawerenge lemba lakuti: “‘Mwala umene amisiri omanga nyumba anawukana wakhala mwala wa pa ngodya.
11 This was from the Lord. It is marvellous in our eyes’?”
Ambuye achita zimenezi, ndipo ndi zodabwitsa mʼmaso mwathu?’”
12 They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.
Ndipo akulu a ansembe, aphunzitsi a malamulo ndi akuluakulu anafunafuna njira yoti amugwirire Iye chifukwa amadziwa kuti anayankhula fanizoli mowatsutsa iwo. Koma amaopa gulu la anthu; ndipo anamusiya napita.
13 They sent some of the Pharisees and the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words.
Pambuyo pake anatuma ena a Afarisi ndi Aherode kwa Yesu kuti adzamukole mawu ake.
14 When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
Iwo anabwera kwa Iye nati, “Aphunzitsi, ife tikudziwa kuti Inu ndi munthu amene mumanena zoona. Inu simutengeka ndi anthu, chifukwa simusamala kuti ndi ndani; koma mumaphunzitsa njira ya Mulungu molingana ndi choonadi. Kodi ndi koyenera kupereka msonkho kwa Kaisara kapena ayi?
15 Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”
Kodi ife tipereke msonkho kapena ayi?” Koma Yesu anadziwa chinyengo chawo. Iye anafunsa kuti, “Bwanji mukufuna kundipeza chifukwa? Bweretsani ndalama kuti ndiyione.”
16 They brought it. He said to them, “Whose is this image and inscription?” They said to him, “Caesar’s.”
Iwo anamubweretsera ndalama, ndipo anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi nkhope iyi ndi ya ndani? Nanga malembawa ndi a ndani?” Iwo anayankha kuti, “Za Kaisara.”
17 Jesus answered them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” They marvelled greatly at him.
Ndipo Yesu anawawuza kuti, “Perekani kwa Kaisara zake za Kaisara ndi kwa Mulungu zake za Mulungu.” Ndipo anazizwa naye.
18 Some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, saying,
Kenaka Asaduki, amene amati kulibe kuuka kwa akufa, anabwera kwa Iye ndi funso.
19 “Teacher, Moses wrote to us, ‘If a man’s brother dies and leaves a wife behind him, and leaves no children, that his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
Iwo anati, “Aphunzitsi, Mose anatilembera kuti munthu akamwalira ndi kusiya mkazi wopanda ana, mʼbale wa munthu womwalirayo akuyenera kukwatira mkaziyo kuti amuberekere ana mʼbale wakeyo.
20 There were seven brothers. The first took a wife, and dying left no offspring.
Tsopano panali abale asanu ndi awiri. Woyamba anakwatira namwalira wosabereka ana.
21 The second took her, and died, leaving no children behind him. The third likewise;
Wachiwiri anakwatira mkazi wamasiyeyo, koma iye anamwalira wosabereka mwana. Zinali chimodzimodzi ndi wachitatu.
22 and the seven took her and left no children. Last of all the woman also died.
Kunena zoona, palibe ndi mmodzi yemwe wa asanu ndi awiriwo anasiya ana. Pomaliza, mkaziyo anamwaliranso.
23 In the resurrection, when they rise, whose wife will she be of them? For the seven had her as a wife.”
Pa kuuka kwa akufa, adzakhala mkazi wa yani pakuti anakwatiwa ndi onse asanu ndi awiri?”
24 Jesus answered them, “Isn’t this because you are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God?
Yesu anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi si pamenepa nanga pomwe mumalakwira chifukwa simukudziwa malemba kapena mphamvu za Mulungu?
25 For when they will rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
Pamene akufa auka, sadzakwatira kapena kukwatiwa; adzakhala ngati angelo kumwamba.
26 But about the dead, that they are raised, haven’t you read in the book of Moses about the Bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?
27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are therefore badly mistaken.”
Iye si Mulungu wa anthu akufa, koma wa amoyo. Inu mwalakwitsa kwambiri!”
28 One of the scribes came and heard them questioning together, and knowing that he had answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the greatest of all?”
Mmodzi wa aphunzitsi amalamulo anabwera namva iwo akukambirana motsutsana. Poona kuti Yesu anawapatsa yankho labwino, anamufunsa Iye kuti, “Mwa malamulo onse, kodi lopambana koposa ndi liti?”
29 Jesus answered, “The greatest is: ‘Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
Yesu anayankha kuti, “Lamulo loposa onse ndi ili: ‘Tamvani inu Aisraeli! Yehova Mulungu wathu, Yehova ndi mmodzi!
30 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
Uzikonda Yehova Mulungu wako ndi mtima wako wonse, ndi moyo wako wonse, ndi nzeru zako zonse ndi mphamvu zako zonse.’
31 The second is like this: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Lachiwiri ndi ili: ‘Konda mnansi wako monga iwe mwini.’ Palibe lamulo lina loposa amenewa.”
32 The scribe said to him, “Truly, teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he;
Munthuyo anayankha kuti, “Mwanena bwino Aphunzitsi. Mwalondola ponena kuti Mulungu ndi mmodzi ndipo palibe wina wofanana naye koma Iye yekha.
33 and to love him with all the heart, with all the understanding, all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
Kumukonda Iye; ndi mtima wako wonse, ndi nzeru zako zonse, ndi mphamvu zako zonse, ndi kukonda mnansi wako monga iwe mwini, ndi zopambana kuposa zopereka ndi nsembe zopsereza.”
34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from God’s Kingdom.” No one dared ask him any question after that.
Yesu ataona kuti wayankha mwanzeru, anati kwa iye, “Iwe suli kutali ndi ufumu wa Mulungu.” Ndipo kuyambira pamenepo panalibe ndi mmodzi yemwe anayesa kumufunsanso.
35 Jesus responded, as he taught in the temple, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?
Yesu akuphunzitsa mʼmabwalo a Nyumba ya Mulungu, anafunsa kuti, “Nʼchifukwa chiyani aphunzitsi amalamulo amanena kuti, ‘Khristu ndi Mwana wa Davide?’
36 For David himself said in the Holy Spirit, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet.”’
Pajatu Davide mwini wake, poyankhula mwa Mzimu Woyera, ananena kuti, “Ambuye anati kwa Ambuye anga: ‘Khalani pa dzanja langa lamanja kufikira nditayika adani anu pansi pa mapazi anu.’
37 Therefore David himself calls him Lord, so how can he be his son?” The common people heard him gladly.
Davide mwini wake amutchula Iye, ‘Ambuye.’ Nanga angakhale bwanji mwana wake?” Gulu lalikulu la anthu linamvetsera ndi chisangalalo.
38 In his teaching he said to them, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and to get greetings in the marketplaces,
Pamene ankaphunzitsa, Yesu anati, “Samalani ndi aphunzitsi a malamulo. Amakonda kuyendayenda atavala mikanjo ikuluikulu ndi kumalonjeredwa mʼmisika.
39 and to get the best seats in the synagogues and the best places at feasts,
Ndipo amakhala pa mipando yofunika kwambiri mʼmasunagoge ndi malo aulemu pa maphwando.
40 those who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”
Amawononga chuma cha akazi amasiye ndiponso amapemphera mapemphero aatali odzionetsera. Anthu oterewa adzalangidwa kwambiri.”
41 Jesus sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the multitude cast money into the treasury. Many who were rich cast in much.
Yesu anakhala pansi moyangʼanana ndi pamene amaperekera zopereka ndipo amaona anthu akupereka ndalama zawo mʼthumba la Nyumba ya Mulungu. Anthu ambiri olemera anaponya ndalama zambiri.
42 A poor widow came and she cast in two small brass coins, which equal a quadrans coin.
Koma mkazi wamasiye, wosauka anabwera ndi kuyikamo tindalama tiwiri ta kopala, tongokwanira theka la ndalama.
43 He called his disciples to himself and said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, this poor widow gave more than all those who are giving into the treasury,
Yesu anayitana ophunzira ake nati, “Zoonadi, ndikuwuzani kuti mayi wosauka wamasiyeyu waponya zambiri mʼthumbali kuposa ena onsewa.
44 for they all gave out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, gave all that she had to live on.”
Iwo apereka molingana ndi chuma chawo; koma iye, mwaumphawi wake, wapereka zonse anali nazo ngakhale zoti akanagulira chakudya.”
