< John 11 >
1 Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus from Bethany, of the village of Mary and her sister, Martha.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ମରିଯମ୍ ତସ୍ୟା ଭଗିନୀ ମର୍ଥା ଚ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱୈଥନୀଯାଗ୍ରାମେ ୱସତସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ଗ୍ରାମେ ଇଲିଯାସର୍ ନାମା ପୀଡିତ ଏକ ଆସୀତ୍|
2 It was that Mary who had anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.
ଯା ମରିଯମ୍ ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ସୁଗନ୍ଧିତେଲୈନ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦଯିତ୍ୱା ସ୍ୱକେଶୈସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଚରଣୌ ସମମାର୍ଜତ୍ ତସ୍ୟା ଭ୍ରାତା ସ ଇଲିଯାସର୍ ରୋଗୀ|
3 The sisters therefore sent to him, saying, “Lord, behold, he for whom you have great affection is sick.”
ଅପରଞ୍ଚ ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଭୱାନ୍ ଯସ୍ମିନ୍ ପ୍ରୀଯତେ ସ ଏୱ ପୀଡିତୋସ୍ତୀତି କଥାଂ କଥଯିତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ ଭଗିନ୍ୟୌ ପ୍ରେଷିତୱତ୍ୟୌ|
4 But when Jesus heard it, he said, “This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God’s Son may be glorified by it.”
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁରିମାଂ ୱାର୍ତ୍ତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱାକଥଯତ ପୀଡେଯଂ ମରଣାର୍ଥଂ ନ କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମହିମାର୍ଥମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରପୁତ୍ରସ୍ୟ ମହିମପ୍ରକାଶାର୍ଥଞ୍ଚ ଜାତା|
5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ୟଦ୍ୟପିମର୍ଥାଯାଂ ତଦ୍ଭଗିନ୍ୟାମ୍ ଇଲିଯାସରି ଚାପ୍ରୀଯତ,
6 When therefore he heard that he was sick, he stayed two days in the place where he was.
ତଥାପି ଇଲିଯାସରଃ ପୀଡାଯାଃ କଥଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ଯତ୍ର ଆସୀତ୍ ତତ୍ରୈୱ ଦିନଦ୍ୱଯମତିଷ୍ଠତ୍|
7 Then after this he said to the disciples, “Let’s go into Judea again.”
ତତଃ ପରମ୍ ସ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନକଥଯଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ପୁନ ର୍ୟିହୂଦୀଯପ୍ରଦେଶଂ ଯାମଃ|
8 The disciples asked him, “Rabbi, the Jews were just trying to stone you. Are you going there again?”
ତତସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦନ୍, ହେ ଗୁରୋ ସ୍ୱଲ୍ପଦିନାନି ଗତାନି ଯିହୂଦୀଯାସ୍ତ୍ୱାଂ ପାଷାଣୈ ର୍ହନ୍ତୁମ୍ ଉଦ୍ୟତାସ୍ତଥାପି କିଂ ପୁନସ୍ତତ୍ର ଯାସ୍ୟସି?
9 Jesus answered, “Aren’t there twelve hours of daylight? If a man walks in the day, he doesn’t stumble, because he sees the light of this world.
ଯୀଶୁଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦତ୍, ଏକସ୍ମିନ୍ ଦିନେ କିଂ ଦ୍ୱାଦଶଘଟିକା ନ ଭୱନ୍ତି? କୋପି ଦିୱା ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ନ ସ୍ଖଲତି ଯତଃ ସ ଏତଜ୍ଜଗତୋ ଦୀପ୍ତିଂ ପ୍ରାପ୍ନୋତି|
10 But if a man walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light isn’t in him.”
କିନ୍ତୁ ରାତ୍ରୌ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ ସ୍ଖଲତି ଯତୋ ହେତୋସ୍ତତ୍ର ଦୀପ୍ତି ର୍ନାସ୍ତି|
11 He said these things, and after that, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going so that I may awake him out of sleep.”
ଇମାଂ କଥାଂ କଥଯିତ୍ୱା ସ ତାନୱଦଦ୍, ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ବନ୍ଧୁଃ ଇଲିଯାସର୍ ନିଦ୍ରିତୋଭୂଦ୍ ଇଦାନୀଂ ତଂ ନିଦ୍ରାତୋ ଜାଗରଯିତୁଂ ଗଚ୍ଛାମି|
12 The disciples therefore said, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”
ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ମୃତୌ କଥାମିମାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ୱିଶ୍ରାମାର୍ଥଂ ନିଦ୍ରାଯାଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଇତି ଜ୍ଞାତ୍ୱା ଶିଷ୍ୟା ଅକଥଯନ୍,
13 Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he spoke of taking rest in sleep.
ହେ ଗୁରୋ ସ ଯଦି ନିଦ୍ରାତି ତର୍ହି ଭଦ୍ରମେୱ|
14 So Jesus said to them plainly then, “Lazarus is dead.
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁଃ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟଂ ତାନ୍ ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍, ଇଲିଯାସର୍ ଅମ୍ରିଯତ;
15 I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe. Nevertheless, let’s go to him.”
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୂଯଂ ଯଥା ପ୍ରତୀଥ ତଦର୍ଥମହଂ ତତ୍ର ନ ସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍ ଇତ୍ୟସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଯୁଷ୍ମନ୍ନିମିତ୍ତମ୍ ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତୋହଂ, ତଥାପି ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପେ ଯାମ|
16 Thomas therefore, who is called Didymus, said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s also go, that we may die with him.”
ତଦା ଥୋମା ଯଂ ଦିଦୁମଂ ୱଦନ୍ତି ସ ସଙ୍ଗିନଃ ଶିଷ୍ୟାନ୍ ଅୱଦଦ୍ ୱଯମପି ଗତ୍ୱା ତେନ ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ମ୍ରିଯାମହୈ|
17 So when Jesus came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already.
ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତତ୍ରୋପସ୍ଥାଯ ଇଲିଯାସରଃ ଶ୍ମଶାନେ ସ୍ଥାପନାତ୍ ଚତ୍ୱାରି ଦିନାନି ଗତାନୀତି ୱାର୍ତ୍ତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତୱାନ୍|
18 Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen stadia away.
ୱୈଥନୀଯା ଯିରୂଶାଲମଃ ସମୀପସ୍ଥା କ୍ରୋଶୈକମାତ୍ରାନ୍ତରିତା;
19 Many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to console them concerning their brother.
ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ବହୱୋ ଯିହୂଦୀଯା ମର୍ଥାଂ ମରିଯମଞ୍ଚ ଭ୍ୟାତୃଶୋକାପନ୍ନାଂ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱଯିତୁଂ ତଯୋଃ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍|
20 Then when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, but Mary stayed in the house.
ମର୍ଥା ଯୀଶୋରାଗମନୱାର୍ତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱୈୱ ତଂ ସାକ୍ଷାଦ୍ ଅକରୋତ୍ କିନ୍ତୁ ମରିଯମ୍ ଗେହ ଉପୱିଶ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥିତା|
21 Therefore Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.
ତଦା ମର୍ଥା ଯୀଶୁମୱାଦତ୍, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଯଦି ଭୱାନ୍ ଅତ୍ରାସ୍ଥାସ୍ୟତ୍ ତର୍ହି ମମ ଭ୍ରାତା ନାମରିଷ୍ୟତ୍|
22 Even now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you.”
କିନ୍ତ୍ୱିଦାନୀମପି ଯଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥଯିଷ୍ୟତେ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ତଦ୍ ଦାସ୍ୟତୀତି ଜାନେଽହଂ|
23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”
ଯୀଶୁରୱାଦୀତ୍ ତୱ ଭ୍ରାତା ସମୁତ୍ଥାସ୍ୟତି|
24 Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”
ମର୍ଥା ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍ ଶେଷଦିୱସେ ସ ଉତ୍ଥାନସମଯେ ପ୍ରୋତ୍ଥାସ୍ୟତୀତି ଜାନେଽହଂ|
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁଃ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ଅହମେୱ ଉତ୍ଥାପଯିତା ଜୀୱଯିତା ଚ ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚନ ମଯି ୱିଶ୍ୱସିତି ସ ମୃତ୍ୱାପି ଜୀୱିଷ୍ୟତି;
26 Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (aiōn )
ଯଃ କଶ୍ଚନ ଚ ଜୀୱନ୍ ମଯି ୱିଶ୍ୱସିତି ସ କଦାପି ନ ମରିଷ୍ୟତି, ଅସ୍ୟାଂ କଥାଯାଂ କିଂ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିଷି? (aiōn )
27 She said to him, “Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Christ, God’s Son, he who comes into the world.”
ସାୱଦତ୍ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଯସ୍ୟାୱତରଣାପେକ୍ଷାସ୍ତି ଭୱାନ୍ ସଏୱାଭିଷିକ୍ତ୍ତ ଈଶ୍ୱରପୁତ୍ର ଇତି ୱିଶ୍ୱସିମି|
28 When she had said this, she went away and called Mary, her sister, secretly, saying, “The Teacher is here and is calling you.”
ଇତି କଥାଂ କଥଯିତ୍ୱା ସା ଗତ୍ୱା ସ୍ୱାଂ ଭଗିନୀଂ ମରିଯମଂ ଗୁପ୍ତମାହୂଯ ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍ ଗୁରୁରୁପତିଷ୍ଠତି ତ୍ୱାମାହୂଯତି ଚ|
29 When she heard this, she arose quickly and went to him.
କଥାମିମାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ସା ତୂର୍ଣମ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପମ୍ ଅଗଚ୍ଛତ୍|
30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha met him.
ଯୀଶୁ ର୍ଗ୍ରାମମଧ୍ୟଂ ନ ପ୍ରୱିଶ୍ୟ ଯତ୍ର ମର୍ଥା ତଂ ସାକ୍ଷାଦ୍ ଅକରୋତ୍ ତତ୍ର ସ୍ଥିତୱାନ୍|
31 Then the Jews who were with her in the house and were consoling her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”
ଯେ ଯିହୂଦୀଯା ମରିଯମା ସାକଂ ଗୃହେ ତିଷ୍ଠନ୍ତସ୍ତାମ୍ ଅସାନ୍ତ୍ୱଯନ ତେ ତାଂ କ୍ଷିପ୍ରମ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାଯ ଗଚ୍ଛନ୍ତିଂ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍, ସ ଶ୍ମଶାନେ ରୋଦିତୁଂ ଯାତି, ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ତେ ତସ୍ୟାଃ ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ ଅଗଚ୍ଛନ୍|
32 Therefore when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you would have been here, my brother wouldn’t have died.”
ଯତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁରତିଷ୍ଠତ୍ ତତ୍ର ମରିଯମ୍ ଉପସ୍ଥାଯ ତଂ ଦୃଷ୍ଟ୍ୱା ତସ୍ୟ ଚରଣଯୋଃ ପତିତ୍ୱା ୱ୍ୟାହରତ୍ ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଯଦି ଭୱାନ୍ ଅତ୍ରାସ୍ଥାସ୍ୟତ୍ ତର୍ହି ମମ ଭ୍ରାତା ନାମରିଷ୍ୟତ୍|
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews weeping who came with her, he groaned in the spirit and was troubled,
ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତାଂ ତସ୍ୟାଃ ସଙ୍ଗିନୋ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାଂଶ୍ଚ ରୁଦତୋ ୱିଲୋକ୍ୟ ଶୋକାର୍ତ୍ତଃ ସନ୍ ଦୀର୍ଘଂ ନିଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟ କଥିତୱାନ୍ ତଂ କୁତ୍ରାସ୍ଥାପଯତ?
34 and said, “Where have you laid him?” They told him, “Lord, come and see.”
ତେ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୋ ଭୱାନ୍ ଆଗତ୍ୟ ପଶ୍ୟତୁ|
36 The Jews therefore said, “See how much affection he had for him!”
ଅତଏୱ ଯିହୂଦୀଯା ଅୱଦନ୍, ପଶ୍ୟତାଯଂ ତସ୍ମିନ୍ କିଦୃଗ୍ ଅପ୍ରିଯତ|
37 Some of them said, “Couldn’t this man, who opened the eyes of him who was blind, have also kept this man from dying?”
ତେଷାଂ କେଚିଦ୍ ଅୱଦନ୍ ଯୋନ୍ଧାଯ ଚକ୍ଷୁଷୀ ଦତ୍ତୱାନ୍ ସ କିମ୍ ଅସ୍ୟ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଂ ନିୱାରଯିତୁଂ ନାଶକ୍ନୋତ୍?
38 Jesus therefore, again groaning in himself, came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁଃ ପୁନରନ୍ତର୍ଦୀର୍ଘଂ ନିଶ୍ୱସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ମଶାନାନ୍ତିକମ୍ ଅଗଚ୍ଛତ୍| ତତ୍ ଶ୍ମଶାନମ୍ ଏକଂ ଗହ୍ୱରଂ ତନ୍ମୁଖେ ପାଷାଣ ଏକ ଆସୀତ୍|
39 Jesus said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁରୱଦଦ୍ ଏନଂ ପାଷାଣମ୍ ଅପସାରଯତ, ତତଃ ପ୍ରମୀତସ୍ୟ ଭଗିନୀ ମର୍ଥାୱଦତ୍ ପ୍ରଭୋ, ଅଧୁନା ତତ୍ର ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧୋ ଜାତଃ, ଯତୋଦ୍ୟ ଚତ୍ୱାରି ଦିନାନି ଶ୍ମଶାନେ ସ ତିଷ୍ଠତି|
40 Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
ତଦା ଯୀଶୁରୱାଦୀତ୍, ଯଦି ୱିଶ୍ୱସିଷି ତର୍ହୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ମହିମପ୍ରକାଶଂ ଦ୍ରକ୍ଷ୍ୟସି କଥାମିମାଂ କିଂ ତୁଭ୍ୟଂ ନାକଥଯଂ?
41 So they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. Jesus lifted up his eyes and said, “Father, I thank you that you listened to me.
ତଦା ମୃତସ୍ୟ ଶ୍ମଶାନାତ୍ ପାଷାଣୋଽପସାରିତେ ଯୀଶୁରୂର୍ଦ୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ପଶ୍ୟନ୍ ଅକଥଯତ୍, ହେ ପିତ ର୍ମମ ନେୱେସନମ୍ ଅଶୃଣୋଃ କାରଣାଦସ୍ମାତ୍ ତ୍ୱାଂ ଧନ୍ୟଂ ୱଦାମି|
42 I know that you always listen to me, but because of the multitude standing around I said this, that they may believe that you sent me.”
ତ୍ୱଂ ସତତଂ ଶୃଣୋଷି ତଦପ୍ୟହଂ ଜାନାମି, କିନ୍ତୁ ତ୍ୱଂ ମାଂ ଯତ୍ ପ୍ରୈରଯସ୍ତଦ୍ ଯଥାସ୍ମିନ୍ ସ୍ଥାନେ ସ୍ଥିତା ଲୋକା ୱିଶ୍ୱସନ୍ତି ତଦର୍ଥମ୍ ଇଦଂ ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ୱଦାମି|
43 When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
ଇମାଂ କଥାଂ କଥଯିତ୍ୱା ସ ପ୍ରୋଚ୍ଚୈରାହ୍ୱଯତ୍, ହେ ଇଲିଯାସର୍ ବହିରାଗଚ୍ଛ|
44 He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Free him, and let him go.”
ତତଃ ସ ପ୍ରମୀତଃ ଶ୍ମଶାନୱସ୍ତ୍ରୈ ର୍ବଦ୍ଧହସ୍ତପାଦୋ ଗାତ୍ରମାର୍ଜନୱାସସା ବଦ୍ଧମୁଖଶ୍ଚ ବହିରାଗଚ୍ଛତ୍| ଯୀଶୁରୁଦିତୱାନ୍ ବନ୍ଧନାନି ମୋଚଯିତ୍ୱା ତ୍ୟଜତୈନଂ|
45 Therefore many of the Jews who came to Mary and saw what Jesus did believed in him.
ମରିଯମଃ ସମୀପମ୍ ଆଗତା ଯେ ଯିହୂଦୀଯଲୋକାସ୍ତଦା ଯୀଶୋରେତତ୍ କର୍ମ୍ମାପଶ୍ୟନ୍ ତେଷାଂ ବହୱୋ ୱ୍ୟଶ୍ୱସନ୍,
46 But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things which Jesus had done.
କିନ୍ତୁ କେଚିଦନ୍ୟେ ଫିରୂଶିନାଂ ସମୀପଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଯୀଶୋରେତସ୍ୟ କର୍ମ୍ମଣୋ ୱାର୍ତ୍ତାମ୍ ଅୱଦନ୍|
47 The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, “What are we doing? For this man does many signs.
ତତଃ ପରଂ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକାଃ ଫିରୂଶିନାଶ୍ଚ ସଭାଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍ ୱଯଂ କିଂ କୁର୍ମ୍ମଃ? ଏଷ ମାନୱୋ ବହୂନ୍ୟାଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ୟକର୍ମ୍ମାଣି କରୋତି|
48 If we leave him alone like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.”
ଯଦୀଦୃଶଂ କର୍ମ୍ମ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ନ ୱାରଯାମସ୍ତର୍ହି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଲୋକାସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱିଶ୍ୱସିଷ୍ୟନ୍ତି ରୋମିଲୋକାଶ୍ଚାଗତ୍ୟାସ୍ମାକମ୍ ଅନଯା ରାଜଧାନ୍ୟା ସାର୍ଦ୍ଧଂ ରାଜ୍ୟମ୍ ଆଛେତ୍ସ୍ୟନ୍ତି|
49 But a certain one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all,
ତଦା ତେଷାଂ କିଯଫାନାମା ଯସ୍ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱତ୍ସରେ ମହାଯାଜକପଦେ ନ୍ୟଯୁଜ୍ୟତ ସ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦଦ୍ ଯୂଯଂ କିମପି ନ ଜାନୀଥ;
50 nor do you consider that it is advantageous for us that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.”
ସମଗ୍ରଦେଶସ୍ୟ ୱିନାଶତୋପି ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଲୋକାର୍ଥମ୍ ଏକସ୍ୟ ଜନସ୍ୟ ମରଣମ୍ ଅସ୍ମାକଂ ମଙ୍ଗଲହେତୁକମ୍ ଏତସ୍ୟ ୱିୱେଚନାମପି ନ କୁରୁଥ|
51 Now he didn’t say this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,
ଏତାଂ କଥାଂ ସ ନିଜବୁଦ୍ଧ୍ୟା ୱ୍ୟାହରଦ୍ ଇତି ନ,
52 and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୂସ୍ତଦ୍ଦେଶୀଯାନାଂ କାରଣାତ୍ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ ତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ୍ୟତି, ଦିଶି ଦିଶି ୱିକୀର୍ଣାନ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନାନ୍ ସଂଗୃହ୍ୟୈକଜାତିଂ କରିଷ୍ୟତି ଚ, ତସ୍ମିନ୍ ୱତ୍ସରେ କିଯଫା ମହାଯାଜକତ୍ୱପଦେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତଃ ସନ୍ ଇଦଂ ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟଂ କଥିତୱାନ୍|
53 So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death.
ତଦ୍ଦିନମାରଭ୍ୟ ତେ କଥଂ ତଂ ହନ୍ତୁଂ ଶକ୍ନୁୱନ୍ତୀତି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣାଂ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ପ୍ରାରେଭିରେ|
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly amongst the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.
ଅତଏୱ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ଯୀଶୁଃ ସପ୍ରକାଶଂ ଗମନାଗମନେ ଅକୃତ୍ୱା ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଗତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରସ୍ୟ ସମୀପସ୍ଥାଯିପ୍ରଦେଶସ୍ୟେଫ୍ରାଯିମ୍ ନାମ୍ନି ନଗରେ ଶିଷ୍ୟୈଃ ସାକଂ କାଲଂ ଯାପଯିତୁଂ ପ୍ରାରେଭେ|
55 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand. Many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯିହୂଦୀଯାନାଂ ନିସ୍ତାରୋତ୍ସୱେ ନିକଟୱର୍ତ୍ତିନି ସତି ତଦୁତ୍ସୱାତ୍ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ସ୍ୱାନ୍ ଶୁଚୀନ୍ କର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ବହୱୋ ଜନା ଗ୍ରାମେଭ୍ୟୋ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ୍ ନଗରମ୍ ଆଗଚ୍ଛନ୍,
56 Then they sought for Jesus and spoke with one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think—that he isn’t coming to the feast at all?”
ଯୀଶୋରନ୍ୱେଷଣଂ କୃତ୍ୱା ମନ୍ଦିରେ ଦଣ୍ଡାଯମାନାଃ ସନ୍ତଃ ପରସ୍ପରଂ ୱ୍ୟାହରନ୍, ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କୀଦୃଶୋ ବୋଧୋ ଜାଯତେ? ସ କିମ୍ ଉତ୍ସୱେଽସ୍ମିନ୍ ଅତ୍ରାଗମିଷ୍ୟତି?
57 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had commanded that if anyone knew where he was, he should report it, that they might seize him.
ସ ଚ କୁତ୍ରାସ୍ତି ଯଦ୍ୟେତତ୍ କଶ୍ଚିଦ୍ ୱେତ୍ତି ତର୍ହି ଦର୍ଶଯତୁ ପ୍ରଧାନଯାଜକାଃ ଫିରୂଶିନଶ୍ଚ ତଂ ଧର୍ତ୍ତୁଂ ପୂର୍ୱ୍ୱମ୍ ଇମାମ୍ ଆଜ୍ଞାଂ ପ୍ରାଚାରଯନ୍|
