< Isaiah 63 >
1 Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? Who is this who is glorious in his clothing, marching in the greatness of his strength? “It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
Ta nì eléyìí tí ó Edomu wá, ti òun ti aṣọ àrẹpọ́n láti Bosra wá? Ta nì eléyìí, tí ó ní ògo nínú aṣọ rẹ̀, tí ó ń yan bọ̀ wá nínú ọláńlá agbára rẹ̀? “Èmi ni ẹni tí ó ń sọ̀rọ̀ nínú òdodo tí ó ní ipa láti gbàlà.”
2 Why is your clothing red, and your garments like him who treads in the wine vat?
Èéṣe tí aṣọ yín fi pupa gẹ́gẹ́ bí i tàwọn tí ń ṣiṣẹ́ ní ìfúntí?
3 “I have trodden the wine press alone. Of the peoples, no one was with me. Yes, I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath. Their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I have stained all my clothing.
“Èmi nìkan ti dá tẹ ìfúntí wáìnì; láti àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí ẹnikẹ́ni kò sì wà pẹ̀lú mi. Mo tẹ̀ wọ́n mọ́lẹ̀ ní ìbínú mi mo sì tẹ̀ wọ́n rẹ́ ní ìrunú mi ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn sì fọ́n sí aṣọ mi, mo sì da àbàwọ́n sí gbogbo aṣọ mi.
4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
Nítorí ọjọ́ ẹ̀san wà ní ọkàn mi àti pé ọdún ìràpadà mi ti dé.
5 I looked, and there was no one to help; and I wondered that there was no one to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. My own wrath upheld me.
Mo wò, ṣùgbọ́n kò sí ẹnìkan láti ṣe ìrànwọ́. Àyà fò mí pé ẹnikẹ́ni kò ṣèrànwọ́; nítorí náà apá mi ni ó ṣiṣẹ́ ìgbàlà fún mi àti ìrunú mi ni ó gbé mi ró.
6 I trod down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath. I poured their lifeblood out on the earth.”
Mo tẹ orílẹ̀-èdè mọ́lẹ̀ nínú ìbínú mi; nínú ìrunú mi mo jẹ́ kí wọ́n mu mo sì da ẹ̀jẹ̀ wọn sílẹ̀ lórí erùpẹ̀.”
7 I will tell of the loving kindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has given to us, and the great goodness towards the house of Israel, which he has given to them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
Èmi yóò sọ nípa àánú Olúwa, ìṣe rẹ gbogbo tí ó yẹ kí a yìn ín fún, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ohun tí Olúwa ti ṣe fún wa, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, ohun rere gbogbo tí ó ti ṣe fún ilé Israẹli, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àánú àti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ oore rẹ̀.
8 For he said, “Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely;” so he became their Saviour.
Ó wí pé, “Lóòtítọ́ ènìyàn mi ni wọ́n, àwọn ọmọ tí kì yóò jẹ́ òpùrọ́ fún mi”; bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, ó sì di Olùgbàlà wọn.
9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and in his pity he redeemed them. He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Nínú gbogbo ìpọ́njú wọn, inú òun pẹ̀lú bàjẹ́ àti angẹli tí ó wà níwájú rẹ̀ gbà wọ́n là. Nínú ìfẹ́ àti àánú rẹ̀, ó rà wọ́n padà; ó gbé wọn sókè ó sì pọ̀n wọ́n ní gbogbo ọjọ́ ìgbà n nì.
10 But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. Therefore he turned and became their enemy, and he himself fought against them.
Síbẹ̀síbẹ̀ wọ́n ṣọ̀tẹ̀ wọ́n sì ba Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́ rẹ̀ nínú jẹ́. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ó yípadà ó sì di ọ̀tá wọn òun tìkára rẹ̀ sì bá wọn jà.
11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying, “Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit amongst them?”
Lẹ́yìn náà ni àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ rántí ọjọ́ ìgbà n nì, àwọn ọjọ́ Mose àti àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ níbo ni ẹni náà wà tí ó mú wọn la Òkun já, pẹ̀lú olùṣọ́-àgùntàn agbo ẹran rẹ̀? Níbo ni ẹni náà wà tí ó rán Ẹ̀mí Mímọ́ rẹ̀ sáàrín wọn,
12 Who caused his glorious arm to be at Moses’ right hand? Who divided the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name?

13 Who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, so that they didn’t stumble?
ta ni ó síwájú wọn la àwọn ọ̀gbun nì já? Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹṣin ni gbangba ìlú wọn tí kò sì kọsẹ̀;
14 As the livestock that go down into the valley, the LORD’s Spirit caused them to rest. So you led your people to make yourself a glorious name.

15 Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained towards me.
Bojú wolẹ̀ láti ọ̀run kí o sì rí i láti ìtẹ́ ògo rẹ, mímọ́ àti ológo. Níbo ni ìtara àti agbára rẹ wà? Ìwà jẹ́ẹ́jẹ́ rẹ àti àánú rẹ ni a ti mú kúrò níwájú wa.
16 For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, LORD, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.
17 O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways, and harden our heart from your fear? Return for your servants’ sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
Èéṣe Olúwa tí o fi jẹ́ kí a ṣáko kúrò ní ojú ọ̀nà rẹ tí o sì ṣé àyà wa le tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí àwa kò fi bọ̀wọ̀ fún ọ? Padà nítorí àwọn ìránṣẹ́ rẹ, àwọn ẹ̀yà tí ṣe ogún ìní rẹ.
18 Your holy people possessed it but a little while. Our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.

19 We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.
