Ezekiel 25
1 The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Chúa Hằng Hữu truyền cho tôi sứ điệp này:
2 “Son of man, set your face towards the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
“Hỡi con người, hãy hướng mặt về Am-môn mà nói tiên tri nghịch cùng dân ấy.
3 Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,
Hãy truyền cho Am-môn sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao: Hãy nghe lời của Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao! Vì ngươi đã hớn hở khi Đền Thờ Ta bị ô uế, chế giễu Ít-ra-ên đang trong cơn thống khổ, và cười nhạo người Giu-đa khi họ bị dẫn đi lưu đày,
4 therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
nên Ta sẽ để cho dân du cư từ hoang mạc phương đông tràn đến đất nước ngươi. Chúng sẽ cắm trại giữa ngươi và dựng lều trên đất ngươi. Chúng sẽ ăn hết hoa quả và uống sữa từ gia súc của ngươi.
5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
Ta sẽ biến thành Ráp-ba thành đồng cỏ của lạc đà, và tất cả đất của Am-môn thành nơi nghỉ cho chiên và dê. Khi ấy, ngươi sẽ biết Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu.
6 For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,
Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao phán: Vì ngươi đã vỗ tay, nhảy múa, và hớn hở với tâm địa nham hiểm khi thấy dân Ta bị xâm lăng,
7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
nên Ta sẽ đưa tay đoán phạt chống lại ngươi. Ta sẽ nạp ngươi cho các dân tộc nước ngoài. Ta sẽ xóa bỏ ngươi khỏi các nước và tận diệt ngươi. Khi ấy, ngươi sẽ biết Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
8 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’
“Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Vì người Mô-áp dám nói rằng Giu-đa cũng như các dân tộc khác,
9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,
nên Ta sẽ chọc thủng phòng tuyến phía đông và quét sạch các thành phố dọc biên cương mà dân ngươi từng hãnh diện—là Bết-giê-si-mốt, Ba-anh Mê-ôn, và Ki-ri-a-ta-im.
10 to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered amongst the nations.
Ta sẽ nạp Mô-áp cho dân du cư vùng hoang mạc phương đông, như Ta đã nạp người A-môn vậy. Đúng vậy, người Am-môn sẽ bị lãng quên giữa các nước.
11 I will execute judgements on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
Cùng cách này, Ta cũng sẽ đoán phạt người Mô-áp. Khi ấy, chúng sẽ biết Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
12 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”
“Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Người Ê-đôm đã phạm tội nặng khi chúng báo thù nhà Giu-đa.
13 therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.
Vì thế, Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao phán, Ta sẽ đưa tay đoán phạt Ê-đôm. Ta sẽ quét sạch cả người lẫn các bầy súc vật bằng gươm. Ta sẽ khiến mọi thứ hoang tàn từ Thê-man đến Đê-đan.
14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.
Ta sẽ báo trả Ê-đôm bằng tay của người Ít-ra-ên. Chúng sẽ mang sự trả thù giận dữ của Ta đối xử với dân đó, rồi Ê-đôm sẽ biết rằng sự trả thù này đến từ Ta. Ta, Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao, phán vậy!”
15 “‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”
“Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao phán: Người Phi-li-tin đã báo thù với lòng nham hiểm và khinh miệt vì chuyện ghen ghét cũ để tiêu diệt Giu-đa.
16 therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
Vì thế, đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Chí Cao phán: Ta sẽ đưa tay đoán phạt đất của người Phi-li-tin. Ta sẽ quét sạch người Kê-rết và tuyệt diệt dân chúng dọc miền duyên hải.
17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
Ta sẽ hình phạt chúng để báo ứng xứng đáng về những việc ác chúng đã làm. Khi Ta đã trừng phạt chúng xong, chúng sẽ biết Ta là Chúa Hằng Hữu.”
