< Ephesians 5 >

1 Be therefore imitators of God, as beloved children.
Sumbu luidi bana bobo Nzambi keta zola, bika lusokudila Tata.
2 Walk in love, even as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.
Ayi ludiatila mu luzolo banga bu tuzodila Klisto bu kakiyekula niandi veka kuidi Nzambi mu diambu dieto banga malasi ma tsudi yi kitoko ayi banga dikaba.
3 But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned amongst you, as becomes saints;
Kitsuza ayi zitsumukunu zinkaka zi phila mu phila ayi zitsatu mu baka bima bi phila mu phila, zibika monika mu beno boso buididi bufuana kuidi banlongo.
4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate, but rather giving of thanks.
Ka diambu ko mambu matsoni, mambu ma buvungisi ayi malueya mabika monika mu beno bila masi fuana kuidi beno ko. Vayi bika, mu mambu meno, luzaba vutudilanga Nzambi matondo.
5 Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral person, nor unclean person, nor covetous man (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God.
Bila luzebi kueno ti nkua kitsuza, nsumuki voti mutu wunzolanga baka bima bi phila mu phila (niandi dedikini ayi mutu wunsambilangabitumba) kalendi baka kiuka ko mu kipfumu ki Klisto ayi ki Nzambi.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.
Mutu kabika kuluvuna mu mambu ma phamba. Bila mu diambu di mambu ma phila yoyo, nganzi yi Nzambi yeta buila batu bobo bazolanga ko kuntumukina.
7 Therefore don’t be partakers with them.
Diawu kadi fubakana ayi batu ba phila yoyo.
8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light,
Bila bubedi, beno lubedi tombi vayi buabu lueka kiezila mu Pfumu. Bika ludiatila banga bana bakiezila!
9 for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
Bila kiezila kimbutanga mamboti, busonga ayi kiedika.
10 proving what is well pleasing to the Lord.
Luzaba sobulanga mambu moso meti monisanga Pfumu khini.
11 Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Lubika fubakana mu mavanga ma tombi; momo mabutanga ko makundivayi bika lutumbudila mawu.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.
Bila mambu momo beta vanga mu kitsueki, tsoni madi mu yolukila mawu.
13 But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light.
Vayi kiezila bu kiela totula mambu moso va nganda buna bosi mela monika.
14 Therefore he says, “Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
Kiezila kiawu kintotulanga bima bioso va nganda. Diawu beta tubila ti: Kotuka kuaku ngeyo wulembo leki tulu; fuluka mu tsi bafua, ayi Klisto wela ku kienzula.
15 Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
Diawu, lukeba mu diambu di phila yoyo lufueti diatila mu bufuana. Lubika ba banga bivungisi, vayi bika luba batu badiela.
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Muaki lusadila thangu, bila bilumbu bi tueka bieka bimbimbi.
17 Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Diawu lubika ba banga bivungisi vayi lusudika bumboti boso buididiluzolo lu Pfumu.
18 Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
Lubika kolongo malavu, bila mu mawu mueti totukila divunzi vayi bika luba bawala mu Pheve.
19 speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Bika lukikindisanga mu minkunga mikubuku, mu minkunga mi sanisinaayi mu minkunga mi kipheve. Luyimbila ayi lusanisina Pfumu mu mintimamieno mimvimba.
20 giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
Mu zithangu zioso, luvutudilanga Nzambi Tata matondo mu mambu mamo mu dizina di Pfumuꞌeto Yesu Klisto.
21 subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.
Bika kadika mutu kakinzika ndiandi mu diambu di lukinzu luidi yeno mu Klisto.
22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Beno baketo, lukinzika babakala beno banga bu lueta kinzikila Pfumu.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the saviour of the body.
Bila bakala niandi Pfumu yi nketo banga Klisto bu kadidi Pfumu yi Dibundu, nituꞌandi. Niandi Mvulusi wu dibundu beni.
24 But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Sumbu Dibundu didi ku tsi minsua mi Klisto, buawu bobo baketobafueti bedla ku tsi minsua mi babakala bawu mu mambu moso.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her,
Beno babakala, luzola baketo beno banga Klisto bu kazodila Dibundu, bila wukiyekula mu diambu di Dibundu beni,
26 that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
muingi kadikitula di nlongo mu mambu mandi ayi di vedila bu kamanisa ku disukula mu nlangu,
27 that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect.
muingi kadimonisa kuidi niandi veka, Dibundu di kitoko, dikambulu ditona di mvindu, dikambulu minkanza, voti dikambulu diambu di phila yoyi vayi didi dinlongo ayi dikambulu tsembolo.
28 Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.
Bobuawu babakala bafueti zola baketo bawu banga bu beta zodila zinitu ziawu. Bila bakala diodi dieta zola nketo andi buna weta kukizola niandi veka.
29 For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly,
Bila kuisi ko mutu weta lenda nitu andi. Vayi wukuyidikilanga, wukuyikebanga banga Klisto bu keta kebila Dibundu,
30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
bila beto tuidi binama bi nitu andi.
31 “For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”
Diawu bakala kela bikila dise diandi ayi ngudi andi mu diambu di bundana ayi nketo andi, ayi, bawu buadi bela kituka nitu yimosi.
32 This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly.
Disuama diodi didi dinneni; vayi ndinyolukila mu diambu di Klisto ayi dibundu.
33 Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
Vayi mu diambu dieno, bika kadika bakala kazola nketo andi bangabu keta kukizodila niandi veka ayi kadika nketo kakinzika bakala diandi.
