< Deuteronomy 16 >

1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God; for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night.
Ẹ kíyèsi oṣù Abibu, kí ẹ sì máa ṣe àjọ̀dún ìrékọjá ti Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, nítorí pé ní oṣù Abibu yìí ni ó mú un yín jáde ní Ejibiti lóru.
2 You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
Ẹ fi ẹran kan rú ẹbọ bí ìrékọjá sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín láti inú ọ̀wọ́ ẹran tàbí agbo màlúù yín ní ibi tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín yóò yàn bí ibùgbé fún orúkọ rẹ̀.
3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste) that you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
Ẹ má ṣe jẹ ẹ́ pẹ̀lú u àkàrà tí a fi ìwúkàrà ṣe, ṣùgbọ́n ọjọ́ méje ni kí ẹ fi jẹ àkàrà tí kò ní ìwúkàrà, àkàrà ìpọ́njú, nítorí pé pẹ̀lú ìkánjú ni ẹ kúrò ní Ejibiti: kí ẹ bá à lè rántí ìgbà tí ẹ kúrò ní Ejibiti ní gbogbo ọjọ́ ayé yín.
4 No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the meat, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.
Kí a má sì ṣe rí àkàrà wíwú ní ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ nínú ilẹ̀ rẹ ní ijọ́ méje. Kí ìwọ má ṣe jẹ́ kí nǹkan kan ṣẹ́kù nínú ẹran tí ìwọ ó fi rú ẹbọ ní ìrọ̀lẹ́ ọjọ́ kìn-ín-ní di àárọ̀ ọjọ́ kejì.
5 You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the LORD your God gives you;
Ẹ kò gbọdọ̀ ṣe ìrékọjá náà ní ìlúkílùú kankan, tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín fi fún un yín
6 but at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came out of Egypt.
bí kò ṣe ibi tí yóò yàn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ibùgbé fún orúkọ rẹ̀, níbẹ̀ ni ki ẹ ti ṣe ìrúbọ ìrékọjá náà ní ìrọ̀lẹ́ nígbà tí oòrùn bá ń wọ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìrántí ìgbà tí ẹ kúrò ní ilẹ̀ Ejibiti.
7 You shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God chooses. In the morning you shall return to your tents.
Ẹ sun ún kí ẹ sì jẹ ẹ́ ní ibi tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín yóò yàn. Ní àárọ̀, kí ẹ padà sí àgọ́ ọ yín.
8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God. You shall do no work.
Ọjọ́ mẹ́fà ní kí ẹ fi jẹ àkàrà aláìwú, ní ọjọ́ keje, ẹ pe àjọ kan fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, kí ẹ má sì ṣe iṣẹ́ kankan.
9 You shall count for yourselves seven weeks. From the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to count seven weeks.
Ka ọ̀sẹ̀ méje láti ìgbà tí ẹ bá ti bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí fi dòjé ṣe ìkórè ọkà.
10 You shall keep the feast of weeks to the LORD your God with a tribute of a free will offering of your hand, which you shall give according to how the LORD your God blesses you.
Nígbà náà ni kí ẹ ṣe àjọ ọ̀sẹ̀ sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín, nípa pípèsè ọrẹ àtinúwá, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìbùkún tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín fún un yín.
11 You shall rejoice before the LORD your God: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are amongst you, in the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
Kí ẹ sì máa yọ̀ níwájú Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín ní ibi tí yóò yàn ní ibùgbé fún orúkọ rẹ̀: ẹ̀yin, àwọn ọmọ yín ọkùnrin àti àwọn ọmọ yín obìnrin, àwọn ẹrú yín ọkùnrin àti àwọn ẹrú yín obìnrin, àwọn Lefi tí ó wà ní ìlú yín, àti àwọn àjèjì, àwọn aláìní baba, àti àwọn opó tí ń gbé àárín yín.
12 You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt. You shall observe and do these statutes.
Ẹ rántí pé, ẹ ti jẹ́ ẹrú ní Ejibiti rí, nítorí náà ẹ tẹ̀lé àwọn ìlànà wọ̀nyí dáradára.
13 You shall keep the feast of booths seven days, after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your wine press.
Ẹ ṣe ayẹyẹ àgọ́ ìpàdé fún ọjọ́ méje lẹ́yìn ìgbà tí ẹ bá ti kórè oko yín tí ẹ ti pakà tí ẹ sì ti fún ọtí tán.
14 You shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates.
Ẹ máa yọ̀ ní àkókò àjọ̀dún un yín, ẹ̀yin, àwọn ọmọ yín ọkùnrin àti obìnrin, àwọn ẹrúkùnrin àti ẹrúbìnrin yín, àti àwọn Lefi, àwọn àjèjì, àwọn aláìní baba àti àwọn opó tí ń gbé ní àwọn ìlú u yín.
15 You shall keep a feast to the LORD your God seven days in the place which the LORD chooses, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.
Ọjọ́ méje ni kí ẹ̀yin kí ó fi ṣe ayẹyẹ fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín ní ibi tí Olúwa yóò yàn. Nítorí pé Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín yóò bùkún un yín ní gbogbo ìkórè e yín, àti ní gbogbo iṣẹ́ ọwọ́ yín, ayọ̀ ọ yín yóò sì kún.
16 Three times in a year all of your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which he chooses: in the feast of unleavened bread, in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths. They shall not appear before the LORD empty.
Ní ẹ̀ẹ̀mẹ́ta lọ́dún ni kí gbogbo àwọn ọkùnrin rẹ kí ó farahàn níwájú Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ̀, ní ibi tí yóò yàn. Níbi àjọ àkàrà àìwú, níbi àjọ ọ̀sẹ̀, àti àjọ àgọ́ ìpàdé. Ẹnikẹ́ni kò gbọdọ̀ wá sí iwájú Olúwa ní ọwọ́ òfo.
17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the LORD your God’s blessing which he has given you.
Kí olúkúlùkù ó mú ọrẹ wá bí agbára rẹ̀ ti tó, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìbùkún Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ tí ó fi fún un ọ̀.
18 You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgement.
Ẹ yan àwọn adájọ́ àti àwọn olóyè fún ẹ̀yà a yín kọ̀ọ̀kan, ní gbogbo ìlú tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín yóò fún un yín, wọ́n sì gbọdọ̀ máa fi òtítọ́ ṣe ìdájọ́ àwọn ènìyàn.
19 You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
Ìwọ kò gbọdọ̀ yí ìdájọ́ po, ìwọ kò gbọdọ̀ ṣe ojúsàájú ènìyàn. Ìwọ kò gbọdọ̀ gba àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ nítorí pé àbẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ ń fọ́ ojú ọlọ́gbọ́n, ó sì ń ba ọ̀rọ̀ olódodo jẹ́.
20 You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you.
Ẹ tẹ̀lé ìdájọ́ òtítọ́ àní ìdájọ́ òtítọ́ nìkan, kí ẹ bá à lè gbé kí ẹ sì gba ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín ń fún un yín.
21 You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the LORD your God’s altar, which you shall make for yourselves.
Ẹ má ṣe ri ère òrìṣà Aṣerah sí ẹ̀gbẹ́ pẹpẹ tí ẹ ti mọ fún Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín.
22 Neither shall you set yourself up a sacred stone which the LORD your God hates.
Ẹ kò gbọdọ̀ gbé òkúta òrìṣà gbígbẹ́ kan kalẹ̀ fún ara yín, nítorí èyí ni Olúwa Ọlọ́run yín kórìíra.
