< 2 Thessalonians 3 >

1 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,

2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
Amawngma am ksing lü am dawkia khyange ja sexukia khyangea kut üng Pamhnam naw a jah yung vaia pi ktaiyü u bä.
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Cunüngpi Bawipa ta sitih bekhüt khawhki. Ani naw ngjuktha ning jah pe lü Khawyaipa üngkhyüh ning jah yungkaih khai ni.
4 We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
Kami ning jah mthei läklam lü nami läklam nglät khai tia Bawipa naw mkhühüpnak jah peki.
5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.
Pamhnama mhläkphyanak ksing bawk vai ja Khritawa a khamei kba nami khamei khawh vaia, Bawipa naw lam ning jah msüm se.
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.
Kami benae aw, kami ning jah mcuhmthehe käh jah läklam lü dudamkia jumeikiea ksunga käh nami ngcawngcik vaia mi Bawipa Jesuh Khritaw ngming üng ning jah nghui na veng.
7 For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously amongst you,
Nami hlawnga kami ve üng am dam u ngü. Acukba nami ve vai cun namimät naw angtea nami ksing bawki ni.
8 neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labour and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.
Ua jah pet pi aphu kaa am doei u nawng. U pi ning jah bawngkhasak vai am yü na ung se, amhnüp amthan kami khyaih khawha kami khüiki.
9 This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
Nami veia kthähei lü yah kyawki. Cunüngpi, am ning jah kthähei u nawng. Acun cun nami jah ngcuhngkihnak vaia ahikba kami khüikie ni.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”
Nami hlawnga kami ve k’um üng, “Au pi khüia damki üng ei käh mbei vai” mi ti khawiki.
11 For we hear of some who walk amongst you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
Nami ksunga khyang avang cun dudam lü khyanga khut üng ngcawngcik vai sawxat ksing lü, ipi käh pawhkia khyange ami ve mi ngjaka phäh kami pyen ni.
12 Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
Ahina khyange hin amimäta kut am khüi lü ami yah ami ei vaia kami jah mcäiki. Bawipa Jesuh Khritawa ngming am kami jah mthehki.
13 But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
Acunüngpi, ka benae aw, akdaw pawhnak üng käh nami pyaitham vai.
14 If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
Kami ning jah kbi lawa kca üngka ngthu am läklam hlüki ve taw khai. Cunüngpi, ami ngkeei law vaia i käh pawh ua. Jah msing sawxat u lü ami hlawnga käh ngpüingpaw ua.
15 Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Cunüngpi, yea mäiha ta käh jah vepüi ua. Nami khritjanpüia ngai lü jah mcäi ua.
16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
Dimdeihnaka phungnu, Bawipa amät naw akcün tä lü amjüküm üng dimdeihnak ning jah pe se. Bawipa cun nami vana khana ve nglät se.
17 I, Paul, write this greeting with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter. This is how I write.
