Revelation 8
1 When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
அநந்தரம்’ ஸப்தமமுத்³ராயாம்’ தேந மோசிதாயாம்’ ஸார்த்³த⁴த³ண்ட³காலம்’ ஸ்வர்கோ³ நி: ஸ²ப்³தோ³(அ)ப⁴வத்|
2 Then I saw the seven angels who are in the presence of God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
அபரம் அஹம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாந்திகே திஷ்ட²த: ஸப்ததூ³தாந் அபஸ்²யம்’ தேப்⁴ய: ஸப்ததூர்ய்யோ(அ)தீ³யந்த|
3 And another angel came and stood close to the altar, carrying a censer of gold; and abundance of incense was given to him that he might place it with the prayers of all God's people upon the golden altar which was in front of the throne.
தத: பரம் அந்ய ஏகோ தூ³த ஆக³த: ஸ ஸ்வர்ணதூ⁴பாதா⁴ரம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா வேதி³முபாதிஷ்ட²த் ஸ ச யத் ஸிம்’ஹாஸநஸ்யாந்திகே ஸ்தி²தாயா: ஸுவர்ணவேத்³யா உபரி ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ பவித்ரலோகாநாம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாஸு தூ⁴பாந் யோஜயேத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ ப்ரசுரதூ⁴பாஸ்தஸ்மை த³த்தா: |
4 And the smoke of the incense rose into the presence of God from the angel's hand, and mingled with the prayers of His people.
ததஸ்தஸ்ய தூ³தஸ்ய கராத் பவித்ரலோகாநாம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாபி⁴: ஸம்’யுக்ததூ⁴பாநாம்’ தூ⁴ம ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸமக்ஷம்’ உத³திஷ்ட²த்|
5 So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and flung it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder, and voices, and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
பஸ்²சாத் ஸ தூ³தோ தூ⁴பாதா⁴ரம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா வேத்³யா வஹ்நிநா பூரயித்வா ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாம்’ நிக்ஷிப்தவாந் தேந ரவா மேக⁴க³ர்ஜ்ஜநாநி வித்³யுதோ பூ⁴மிகம்பஸ்²சாப⁴வந்|
6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made preparations for blowing them.
தத: பரம்’ ஸப்ததூரீ ர்தா⁴ரயந்த: ஸப்ததூ³தாஸ்தூரீ ர்வாத³யிதும் உத்³யதா அப⁴வந்|
7 The first blew his trumpet; and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, falling upon the earth; and a third part of the earth was burnt up, and a third part of the trees and all the green grass.
ப்ரத²மேந தூர்ய்யாம்’ வாதி³தாயாம்’ ரக்தமிஸ்²ரிதௌ ஸி²லாவஹ்நீ ஸம்பூ⁴ய ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாம்’ நிக்ஷிப்தௌ தேந ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாஸ்த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² த³க்³த⁴: , தரூணாமபி த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² த³க்³த⁴: , ஹரித்³வர்ணத்ரு’ணாநி ச ஸர்வ்வாணி த³க்³தா⁴நி|
8 The second angel blew his trumpet; and what seemed to be a great mountain, all ablaze with fire, was hurled into the sea; and a third part of the sea was turned into blood.
அநந்தரம்’ த்³விதீயதூ³தேந தூர்ய்யாம்’ வாதி³தாயாம்’ வஹ்நிநா ப்ரஜ்வலிதோ மஹாபர்வ்வத: ஸாக³ரே நிக்ஷிப்தஸ்தேந ஸாக³ரஸ்ய த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² ரக்தீபூ⁴த:
9 And a third part of the creatures that were in the sea--those that had life--died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed.
ஸாக³ரே ஸ்தி²தாநாம்’ ஸப்ராணாநாம்’ ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டவஸ்தூநாம்’ த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² ம்ரு’த: , அர்ணவயாநாநாம் அபி த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² நஷ்ட: |
10 The third angel blew his trumpet; and there fell from Heaven a great star, which was on fire like a torch. It fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the springs of water.
அபரம்’ த்ரு’தீயதூ³தேந தூர்ய்யாம்’ வாதி³தாயாம்’ தீ³ப இவ ஜ்வலந்தீ ஏகா மஹதீ தாரா க³க³ணாத் நிபத்ய நதீ³நாம்’ ஜலப்ரஸ்ரவணாநாஞ்சோபர்ய்யாவதீர்ணா|
11 The name of the star is 'Wormwood;' and a third part of the waters were turned into wormwood, and vast numbers of the people died from drinking the water, because it had become bitter.
தஸ்யாஸ்தாராயா நாம நாக³த³மநகமிதி, தேந தோயாநாம்’ த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸே² நாக³த³மநகீபூ⁴தே தோயாநாம்’ திக்தத்வாத் ப³ஹவோ மாநவா ம்ரு’தா: |
12 Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet; and a curse fell upon a third part of the sun, a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars, so that a third part of them were darkened and for a third of the day, and also of the night, there was no light.
அபரம்’ சதுர்த²தூ³தேந தூர்ய்யாம்’ வாதி³தாயாம்’ ஸூர்ய்யஸ்ய த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸ²ஸ்²சந்த்³ரஸ்ய த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸோ² நக்ஷத்ராணாஞ்ச த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸ²: ப்ரஹ்ரு’த: , தேந தேஷாம்’ த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸே² (அ)ந்த⁴காரீபூ⁴தே தி³வஸஸ்த்ரு’தீயாம்’ஸ²காலம்’ யாவத் தேஜோஹீநோ ப⁴வதி நிஸா²பி தாமேவாவஸ்தா²ம்’ க³ச்ச²தி|
13 Then I looked, and I heard a solitary eagle crying in a loud voice, as it flew across the sky, "Alas, alas, alas, for the inhabitants of the earth, because of the significance of the remaining trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!"
ததா³ நிரீக்ஷமாணேந மயாகாஸ²மத்⁴யேநாபி⁴பதத ஏகஸ்ய தூ³தஸ்ய ரவ: ஸ்²ருத: ஸ உச்சை ர்க³த³தி, அபரை ர்யைஸ்த்ரிபி⁴ ர்தூ³தைஸ்தூர்ய்யோ வாதி³தவ்யாஸ்தேஷாம் அவஸி²ஷ்டதூரீத்⁴வநித: ப்ரு’தி²வீநிவாஸிநாம்’ ஸந்தாப: ஸந்தாப: ஸந்தாபஸ்²ச ஸம்ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
