Revelation 22
1 Then he showed me the river of the Water of Life, bright as crystal, issuing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Thiên sứ chỉ cho tôi xem sông nước sự sống, trong như lưu ly, từ ngôi Ðức Chúa Trời và Chiên Con chảy ra.
2 On either side of the river, midway between it and the main street of the city, was the Tree of Life. It produced twelve kinds of fruit, yielding a fresh crop month by month, and the leaves of the tree served as medicine for the nations.
Ở giữa phố thành và trên hai bờ sông có cây sự sống trổ mười hai mùa, mỗi tháng một lần ra trái; và những lá cây đó dùng để chữa lành cho các dân.
3 "In future there will be no curse," he said, "but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in that city. And His servants will render Him holy service and will see His face,
Chẳng còn có sự nguyền rủa nữa; ngôi của Ðức Chúa Trời và Chiên Con sẽ ở trong thành; các tôi tớ Ngài sẽ hầu hạ Ngài;
4 and His name will be on their foreheads.
chúng sẽ được thấy mặt Chúa, và danh Chúa sẽ ở trên trán mình. Ðêm không còn có nữa,
5 And there will be no night there; and they have no need of lamplight or sunlight, for the Lord God will shine upon them, and they will be kings until the Ages of the Ages." (aiōn g165)
và chúng sẽ không cần đến ánh sáng đèn hay ánh sáng mặt trời, vì Chúa là Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ soi sáng cho; và chúng sẽ trị vì đời đời. (aiōn g165)
6 And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the Prophets, sent His angel to make known to His servants the things which must soon happen.
Bấy giờ thiên sứ nói với tôi rằng: Những lời nầy là trung tín và chơn thật, Chúa là Ðức Chúa Trời của thần các đấng tiên tri, đã sai thiên sứ mình đặng tỏ cùng các tôi tớ Ngài những điều kíp phải xảy ra.
7 'I am coming quickly.' Blessed is he who is mindful of the predictions contained in this book."
Kìa, ta đến mau chóng. Phước thay cho kẻ nào giữ những lời tiên tri trong sách nầy!
8 I John heard and saw these things; and when I had heard and seen them, I fell at the feet of the angel who was showing me them--to worship him.
Chính tôi là Giăng đã thấy và nghe những điều đó. Khi nghe và thấy đoạn, tôi sấp mình xuống dưới chơn thiên sứ đã tỏ những kỳ diệu ấy cho tôi, để thờ lạy.
9 But he said to me, "Oh, do not do that. I am a fellow bondservant of yours, and a fellow bondservant of your brethren the Prophets and of those who are mindful of the teachings of this book. Worship God."
Song người phán rằng: Chớ làm vậy! Ta là bạn tôi tớ với ngươi, với anh em ngươi, là các đấng tiên tri, và với những kẻ giữ các lời trong sách nầy. Hãy thờ phượng Ðức Chúa Trời!
10 "Make no secret," he added, "of the meaning of the predictions contained in this book; for the time for their fulfillment is now close at hand.
Rồi người lại phán cùng tôi rằng: Chớ niêm phong những lời tiên tri trong sách nầy; vì thì giờ đã gần đến.
11 Let the dishonest man act dishonestly still; let the filthy make himself filthy still; let the righteous practise righteousness still; and let the holy be made holy still."
Kẻ nào không công bình, cứ không công bình nữa; kẻ nào ô uế, cứ còn ô uế nữa; kẻ nào công bình, cứ làm điều công bình nữa; kẻ nào là thánh, cứ làm nên thánh nữa!
12 "I am coming quickly; and My reward is with Me, that I may requite every man in accordance with what his conduct has been.
Nầy, ta đến mau chóng, và đem phần thưởng theo với ta, để trả cho mỗi người tùy theo công việc họ làm.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Ta là An-pha và Ô-mê-ga, là thứ nhứt và là sau chót, là đầu và là rốt.
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes clean, that they may have a right to the Tree of Life, and may go through the gates into the city.
Phước thay cho những kẻ giặt áo mình đặng có phép đến nơi cây sự sống và bởi các cửa mà vào trong thành!
15 The unclean are shut out, and so are all who practise magic, all fornicators, all murderers, and those who worship idols, and every one who loves falsehood and tells lies.
Những loài chó, những thuật sĩ, những kẻ tà dâm, những kẻ giết người, những kẻ thờ hình tượng, và những kẻ ưa thích cùng làm sự giả dối đều ở ngoài hết thảy.
16 "I Jesus have sent My angel for him solemnly to declare these things to you among the Churches. I am the Root and the offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.
Ta là Jêsus, đã sai thiên sứ ta đến làm chứng về những sự đó cho các ngươi trước mặt các Hội thánh. Ta là chồi và hậu tự của Ða-vít, là sao mai sáng chói.
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come;' and whoever hears, let him say, 'Come;' and let those who are thirsty come. Whoever will, let him take the Water of Life, without payment.
Thánh Linh và vợ mới cùng nói: Hãy đến! Kẻ nào nghe cũng hãy nói rằng: Hãy đến! Ai khát, khá đến. Kẻ nào muốn, khá nhận lấy nước sự sống cách nhưng không.
18 "I solemnly declare to every one who hears the words of the prophecy contained in this book, that if any one adds to those words, God will add to him the plagues spoken of in this book;
Tôi ngỏ cho kẻ nào nghe lời tiên tri trong sách nầy: nếu ai thêm vào sách tiên tri nầy điều gì, thì Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ thêm cho người ấy tai nạn đã ghi chép trong sách nầy.
19 and that if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take from him his share in the Tree of Life and in the holy city--the things described in this book.
Và kẻ nào bớt điều gì trong những lời ở sách tiên tri nầy, thì Ðức Chúa Trời sẽ cất lấy phần họ về cây sự sống và thành thánh, mà đã chép ra trong sách nầy.
20 "He who solemnly declares all this says, "'Yes, I am coming quickly.'" Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Ðấng làm chứng cho những điều ấy, phán rằng: Phải, ta đến mau chóng. A-men, lạy Ðức Chúa Jêsus, xin hãy đến!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people.
Nguyền xin ân điển của Ðức Chúa Jêsus ở với mọi người!
