Revelation 21
1 And I saw a new Heaven and a new earth; for the first Heaven and the first earth were gone, and the sea no longer exists.
௧பின்பு, நான் புதிய வானத்தையும் புதிய பூமியையும் பார்த்தேன்; முந்தின வானமும் முந்தின பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோயின; கடலும் இல்லாமல்போனது.
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God and made ready like a bride attired to meet her husband.
௨யோவானாகிய நான், புதிய எருசலேமாகிய பரிசுத்த நகரத்தை தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து பரலோகத்தைவிட்டு இறங்கி வருவதைப் பார்த்தேன்; அது தன் கணவனுக்காக அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட மணமகளைப்போல ஆயத்தமாக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
3 And I heard a loud voice, which came from the throne, say, "God's dwelling place is among men and He will dwell among them and they shall be His peoples. Yes, God Himself will be among them.
௩மேலும், பரலோகத்திலிருந்து உண்டான ஒரு பெரிய சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டேன்; அது: இதோ, மனிதர்களிடத்திலே தேவனுடைய வாசஸ்தலம் இருக்கிறது, அவர்களிடத்திலே அவர் வாசமாக இருப்பார்; அவர்களும் அவருடைய மக்களாக இருப்பார்கள், தேவன்தாமே அவர்களோடு இருந்து அவர்களுடைய தேவனாக இருப்பார்.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death shall be no more; nor sorrow, nor wail of woe, nor pain; for the first things have passed away."
௪அவர்களுடைய கண்ணீர் யாவையும் தேவன் துடைப்பார்; இனி மரணமுமில்லை, துக்கமுமில்லை, அலறுதலுமில்லை, வருத்தமுமில்லை; முந்தினவைகள் ஒழிந்துபோயின என்று சொன்னது.
5 Then He who was seated on the throne said, "I am re-creating all things." And He added, "Write down these words, for they are trustworthy and true."
௫சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காருந்திருந்தவர்: இதோ, நான் எல்லாவற்றையும் புதிதாக்குகிறேன் என்றார். பின்னும் அவர்: இந்த வசனங்கள் சத்தியமும் உண்மையுமானவைகள், இவைகளை எழுது என்றார்.
6 He also said, "They have now been fulfilled. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To those who are thirsty I will give the privilege of drinking from the well of the Water of Life without payment.
௬அன்றியும், அவர் என்னைப் பார்த்து: ஆயிற்று, நான் அல்பாவும், ஓமெகாவும், தொடக்கமும், முடிவுமாக இருக்கிறேன். தாகமாக இருக்கிறவனுக்கு நான் ஜீவத்தண்ணீர் ஊற்றிலிருந்து இலவசமாகக் கொடுப்பேன்.
7 All this shall be the heritage of him who overcomes, and I will be his God and he shall be one of My sons.
௭ஜெயங்கொள்ளுகிறவன் எல்லாவற்றையும் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளுவான்; நான் அவன் தேவனாக இருப்பேன், அவன் என் குமாரனாக இருப்பான்.
9 Then there came one of the seven angels who were carrying the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues. "Come with me," he said, "and I will show you the Bride, the Lamb's wife."
௯பின்பு, கடைசியான ஏழு வாதைகளால் நிறைந்த ஏழு கலசங்களையுடைய அந்த ஏழு தூதர்களில் ஒருவன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து: நீ இங்கே வா, ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய மனைவியாகிய மணமகளை உனக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லி,
10 So in the Spirit he carried me to the top of a vast, lofty mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,
௧0பெரிதும் உயரமுமான ஒரு மலையின்மேல் என்னை ஆவியில் கொண்டுபோய், தேவனுடைய மகிமையை அடைந்த எருசலேமாகிய பரிசுத்த நகரம் பரலோகத்தைவிட்டு தேவனிடத்திலிருந்து இறங்கிவருகிறதை எனக்குக் காண்பித்தான்.
11 and bringing with it the glory of God. It shone with a radiance like that of a very precious stone--such as a jasper, bright and transparent.
௧௧அதின் பிரகாசம் மிகவும் விலையுயர்ந்த இரத்தினக்கல்லைப்போலவும், பளிங்கின் ஒளியுள்ள வச்சிரக்கல்லைப்போலவும் இருந்தது.
12 It has a wall, massive and high, with twelve large gates, and in charge of the gates were twelve angels. And overhead, above the gates, names were inscribed which are those of the twelve tribes of the descendants of Israel.
௧௨அதற்குப் பெரிதும் உயரமுமான மதிலும், கிழக்கே மூன்று வாசல்கள், வடக்கே மூன்று வாசல்கள், தெற்கே மூன்று வாசல்கள், மேற்கே மூன்று வாசல்கள் ஆகப் பன்னிரண்டு வாசல்களும் இருந்தன.
13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west.
௧௩வாசல்களின் அருகே பன்னிரண்டு தூதர்களிருந்தார்கள்; அந்த வாசல்களின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தில் உள்ள பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரத்தாருடைய நாமங்களும் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தன.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and engraved upon them were twelve names--the names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
௧௪நகரத்தின் மதிலுக்குப் பன்னிரண்டு அஸ்திபாரக் கற்கள் இருந்தன; அவைகள்மேல் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருடைய பன்னிரண்டு அப்போஸ்தலரின் பன்னிரண்டு பெயர்களும் பதிந்திருந்தன.
15 Now he who was speaking to me had a measuring-rod of gold, with which to measure the city and its gates and its wall.
௧௫என்னுடனே பேசினவன், நகரத்தையும் அதின் வாசல்களையும் அதின் மதிலையும் அளக்கிறதற்கு ஒரு பொற்கோலைப் பிடித்திருந்தான்.
16 The plan of the city is a square, the length being the same as the breadth; and he measured the city furlong by furlong, with his measuring rod--it is twelve hundred miles long, and the length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
௧௬அந்த நகரம் சதுரமாக இருந்தது, அதின் அகலமும் நீளமும் சமமாக இருந்தது. அவன் அந்தக் கோலினால் நகரத்தை அளந்தான்; அது இரண்டாயிரத்து இருநூறு கிலோமீட்டர் தூர அளவாக இருந்தது; அதின் நீளமும் அகலமும் உயரமும் சமமாக இருந்தது.
17 And he measured the wall of it--a wall of a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to human measure, which was also that of the angel.
௧௭அவன் அதின் மதிலை அளந்தபோது, மனித அளவின்படியே அது நூற்றுநாற்பத்துநான்கு முழமாக இருந்தது.
18 The solid fabric of the wall was jasper; and the city itself was made of gold, resembling transparent glass.
௧௮அதின் மதில் வச்சிரக்கல்லால் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது; நகரம் தெளிந்த பளிங்குக்கு ஒப்பான சுத்தப்பொன்னாக இருந்தது.
19 As for the foundation-stones of the city wall, which were beautified with various kinds of precious stones, the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius,
௧௯நகரத்து மதில்களின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் எல்லாவகை இரத்தினங்களினாலும் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன; முதலாம் அஸ்திபாரம் வச்சிரக்கல், இரண்டாவது இந்திரநீலம், மூன்றாவது சந்திரகாந்தம், நான்காவது மரகதம்,
20 the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
௨0ஐந்தாவது கோமேதகம், ஆறாவது பதுமராகம், ஏழாவது சுவர்ணரத்தினம், எட்டாவது படிகப்பச்சை, ஒன்பதாவது புஷ்பராகம், பத்தாவது வைடூரியம், பதினோராவது சுநீரம், பன்னிரண்டாவது சுகந்தி இவைகளே.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each of them consisting of a single pearl. And the main street of the city was made of pure gold, resembling transparent glass.
௨௧பன்னிரண்டு வாசல்களும் பன்னிரண்டு முத்துக்களாக இருந்தன; ஒவ்வொரு வாசலும் ஒவ்வொரு முத்தாயிருந்தது. நகரத்தின் வீதி தெளிவுள்ள பளிங்குபோலச் சுத்தப்பொன்னாக இருந்தது.
22 I saw no sanctuary in the city, for the Lord God, the Ruler of all, is its Sanctuary, and so is the Lamb.
௨௨அதிலே தேவாலயத்தை நான் பார்க்கவில்லை; சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரும் ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவருமே அதற்கு ஆலயம்.
23 Nor has the city any need of the sun or of the moon, to give it light; for the glory of God has shone upon it and its lamp is the Lamb.
௨௩நகரத்திற்கு வெளிச்சம் கொடுக்கச் சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் அதற்கு வேண்டியதில்லை; தேவனுடைய மகிமையே அதைப் பிரகாசிப்பித்தது, ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரே அதற்கு விளக்கு.
24 The nations will live their lives by its light; and the kings of the earth are to bring their glory into it.
௨௪இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிற மக்கள் அதின் வெளிச்சத்திலே நடப்பார்கள். பூமியின் ராஜாக்கள் தங்களுடைய மகிமையையும் கனத்தையும் அதற்குள்ளே கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
25 And in the daytime (for there will be no night there) the gates will never be closed;
௨௫அங்கே இரவு இல்லாதபடியால், அதின் வாசல்கள் பகலில் அடைக்கப்படுவதே இல்லை.
26 and the glory and honor of the nations shall be brought into it.
௨௬உலகத்தாருடைய மகிமையையும் கனத்தையும் அதற்குள்ளே கொண்டுவருவார்கள்.
27 And no unclean thing shall ever enter it, nor any one who is guilty of base conduct or tells lies, but only they whose names stand recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life.
௨௭தீட்டுள்ளதும் அருவருப்பையும் பொய்யையும் நடப்பிக்கிறதுமாகிய ஒன்றும் அதில் செல்வதில்லை; ஆட்டுக்குட்டியானவரின் ஜீவபுத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டவர்கள்மட்டும் அதில் செல்வார்கள்.
