Revelation 14
1 Then I looked, and I saw the Lamb standing upon Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 people, having His name and His Father's name written on their foreheads.
Tôi thấy Chiên Con đứng trên núi Si-ôn cùng với 144.000 người, trên trán họ có ghi tên Ngài và tên Cha Ngài.
2 And I heard music from Heaven which resembled the sound of many waters and the roar of loud thunder; and the music which I heard was like that of harpists playing upon their harps.
Tôi nghe có tiếng từ trời như thác đổ, như sấm rền vang. Đó là tiếng hòa tấu của đàn hạc.
3 And they were singing what seemed to be a new song, in front of the throne and in the presence of the four living creatures and the Elders; and no one was able to learn that song except the 144,000 people who had been redeemed out of the world.
Họ đứng trước ngai và trước bốn sinh vật cùng các trưởng lão, hát một bài ca mới. Không ai học được bài ca này trừ ra 144.000 người đó, là những người được cứu chuộc từ trần gian.
4 These are those who had not defiled themselves with women: they are as pure as virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They have been redeemed from among men, as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
Họ là những người thanh khiết, chưa dan díu với phụ nữ. Chiên Con đi đâu họ theo đó. Giữa cả nhân loại, họ là những người đầu tiên được cứu chuộc về cho Đức Chúa Trời và Chiên Con.
5 And no lie has ever been found upon their lips: they are faultless.
Họ không nói dối, không lầm lỗi.
6 And I saw another angel flying across the sky, carrying the Good News of the Ages to tell to every nation, tribe, language and people, among those who live on the earth. (aiōnios g166)
Tôi thấy một thiên sứ khác bay trên không trung, đem Phúc Âm vĩnh cửu công bố cho cư dân trên đất, cho mọi quốc gia, dòng giống, ngôn ngữ, và dân tộc. (aiōnios g166)
7 He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give Him glory, because the time of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made sky and earth, the sea and the water-springs."
Thiên sứ lớn tiếng gọi: “Phải kính sợ Đức Chúa Trời và tôn vinh Ngài! Vì giờ xét xử của Ngài đã đến. Phải thờ lạy Ngài, Đấng đã sáng tạo trời, đất, biển, và mọi dòng sông.”
8 And another, a second angel, followed, exclaiming, "Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen--she who made all the nations drink the wine of the anger provoked by her fornication."
Thiên sứ thứ hai bay theo sau tuyên bố: “Ba-by-lôn vĩ đại sụp đổ tan tành rồi! Vì nó quyến rũ các dân tộc trên thế giới uống rượu gian dâm điên cuồng của nó.”
9 And another, a third angel, followed them, exclaiming in a loud voice, "If any one worships the Wild Beast and his statue, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
Thiên sứ thứ ba bay sau cùng kêu lớn: “Tất cả những người thờ lạy con thú và tượng nó, chịu ghi dấu hiệu nó trên trán hoặc trên tay,
10 he shall drink the wine of God's anger which stands ready, undiluted, in the cup of His fury, and he shall be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.
đều phải uống chén rượu hình phạt nguyên chất của Đức Chúa Trời. Họ phải chịu khổ hình trong lửa và diêm sinh trước mặt các thiên sứ thánh và Chiên Con.
11 And the smoke of their torment goes up until the Ages of the Ages; and the worshipers of the Wild Beast and his statue have no rest day or night, nor has any one who receives the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
Khói lửa bốc lên nghi ngút vô tận. Những người thờ lạy con thú và tượng nó cùng những ai mang dấu hiệu con thú, ngày đêm chịu khổ hình không ngớt.” (aiōn g165)
12 Here is an opportunity for endurance on the part of God's people, who carefully keep His commandments and the faith of Jesus!"
Điều này đòi hỏi lòng nhẫn nại của các thánh đồ, là những người vâng giữ điều răn của Đức Chúa Trời và vững vàng tin Chúa Giê-xu.
13 And I heard a voice speaking from Heaven. It said, "Write as follows: "'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from this time onward. Yes, says the Spirit, let them rest from their sorrowful labours; for what they have done goes with them.'"
Tôi nghe tiếng nói từ trời: “Hãy chép: Từ nay, phước cho những người chết trong Chúa. Phải, Chúa Thánh Linh xác nhận: Họ sẽ nghỉ mọi việc lao khổ và thu gặt kết quả tốt đẹp.”
14 Then I looked, and a white cloud appeared, and sitting on the cloud was some One resembling the Son of Man, having a wreath of gold upon His head and in His hand a sharp sickle.
Lúc ấy, tôi nhìn thấy một áng mây trắng, Đấng ngồi trên mây giống như Con Người, đầu đội vương miện vàng, tay cầm cái liềm sắc bén.
15 And another, an angel, came out of the sanctuary, calling in a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, and saying, "Use your sickle and reap the harvest, for the hour for reaping it has come: the harvest of the earth is over-ripe."
Một thiên sứ từ Đền Thờ bước ra, thưa lớn tiếng: “Xin Chúa dùng liềm gặt hái vì giờ gặt đã đến, mùa màng dưới đất đã chín rồi.”
16 Then He who sat on the cloud flung His sickle on the earth, and the earth had its harvest reaped.
Đấng ngồi trên mây liền vung liềm trên mặt đất và gặt hái mùa màng.
17 And another angel came out from the sanctuary in Heaven, and he too carried a sharp sickle.
Sau đó, một thiên sứ khác từ Đền Thờ trên trời đi ra, cũng cầm một cái liềm sắc bén.
18 And another angel came out from the altar--he who had power over fire--and he spoke in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Use your sharp sickle, and gather the bunches from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are now quite ripe."
Một thiên sứ khác nữa có quyền trên lửa, từ bàn thờ bước ra, lớn tiếng gọi thiên sứ cầm lưỡi liềm: “Xin dùng liềm hái nho dưới đất, vì nho đã chín!”
19 And the angel flung his sickle down to the earth, and reaped the vine of the earth and threw the grapes into the great winepress of God's anger.
Thiên sứ vung liềm trên mặt đất, hái nho quăng vào bồn ép rượu hình phạt của Đức Chúa Trời.
20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and out of it came blood reaching the horses' bridles for a distance of 200 miles.
Bồn ép rượu ở bên ngoài thành, máu từ bồn trào ra, ngập đến hàm thiếc ngựa suốt một khoảng gần 296 nghìn mét.
