< Revelation 13 >

1 And he took up a position upon the sands of the sea-shore. Then I saw a Wild Beast coming up out of the sea, and he had ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten kingly crowns, and inscribed on his heads were names full of blasphemy.
Kendo ondiek malichno nochungʼ e dho nam. Eka naneno ondiek moro magalagala kawuok aa e nam. Ne en gi tunge apar kod wiye abiriyo. To nosidho osimbo apar e tungenego, kendo wich ka wich nondikie nying marach ma yanyo Nyasaye.
2 The Wild Beast which I saw resembled a leopard, and had feet like the feet of a bear, and his mouth was like the mouth of a lion; and it was to the Dragon that he owed his power and his throne and his wide dominion.
Ondiek mane anenono ne chalo gi kwach, to tiendene ne chalo tiende dubu, kendo dhoge ne chalo gi dho sibuor. To thuol mangʼongono nomiyo ondiegno tekone gi kome mar duongʼ gi lochne duto.
3 I saw that one of his heads seemed to have been mortally wounded; but his mortal wound was healed, and the whole world was amazed and followed him.
Achiel kuom wi ondiegno ne nenore ka gima ogo lero mar tho, to wiye mane ogo lerono nosechango. Ji duto manie piny nohum nono, kendo negiluwo bangʼ ondiegno.
4 And they offered worship to the Dragon, because it was to him that the Wild Beast owed his dominion; and they also offered worship to the Wild Beast, and said, "Who is there like him? And who is able to engage in battle with him?"
To ji nolamo thuol mangʼongono nikech nosemiyo ondiek malichno tekone owuon kendo negilamo ondiek malichno ka gipenjo niya. “En ngʼa machal gi ondiek malich?” Ere ngʼato manyalo kedo kode?
5 And there was given him a mouth full of boastful and blasphemous words; and liberty of action was granted him for forty-two months.
Ondiek malichno nomi dhok mar wacho weche mag sungruok kod ayany, kendo ne oyiene bedo gi loch kuom dweche piero angʼwen gariyo.
6 And he opened his mouth to utter blasphemies against God, to speak evil of His name and of His dwelling-place--that is to say, of those who dwell in Heaven.
Eka nochako wuoyo koyanyo Nyasaye kendo koketho nyinge kod kar dakne, kaachiel gi joma odak e polo.
7 And permission was given him to make war upon God's people and conquer them; and power was given him over every tribe, people, language and nation.
Bende nomiye teko mondo oked gi jomaler mag Nyasaye kendo ologi, kendo nomiye loch kuom dhoudi duto, gi ogendini kod dhok duto miwacho gi pinje duto.
8 And all the inhabitants of the earth will be found to be worshipping him: every one whose name is not recorded in the Book of Life--the Book of the Lamb who has been offered in sacrifice ever since the creation of the world.
Ji duto modak e piny biro lamo ondiek malichno. Gin e joma nying-gi ok ondiki e kitabu mar ngima mar Nyarombo mane onegi chakre chwech piny.
9 Let all who have ears give heed.
Ngʼat man-gi it, mondo owinji!
10 If any one is eager to lead others into captivity, he must himself go into captivity. If any one is bent on killing with the sword, he must himself be killed by the sword. Here is an opportunity for endurance, and for the exercise of faith, on the part of God's people.
Ka ngʼato onego ter e twech to twech machalo kamano ema nyaka odhiye. Kendo ka ngʼato onego negi e lweny gi ligangla to liganglano ema nyaka negego. Ma e kinde ma jo-Nyasaye onego timie kinda kendo bed gi yie motegno.
11 Then I saw another Wild Beast, coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like those of a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
Eka naneno ondiek malich machielo kawuok ei piny. Ne en gi tunge ariyo machalo gi mar nyarombo, to nowuoyo kaka thuol mangʼongo wuoyo.
12 And the authority of the first Wild Beast--the whole of that authority--he exercises in his presence, and he causes the earth and its inhabitants to worship the first Wild Beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
Notiyo gi teko duto mar ondiek malich mokwongo ka en e nyim ondiegino. Eka nomiyo piny gi ji duto modak e iye olamo ondiek malich mokwongono, ma wiye ne nigi adhola malich mane ogo lero mar tho, to nosechango.
13 He also works great miracles, so as even to make fire come down from Heaven to earth in the presence of human beings.
Notimo honni madongo ma kata mana mach nomiyo lor oa e polo, kabiro e piny ka ji duto neno.
14 And his power of leading astray the inhabitants of the earth is due to the marvels which he has been permitted to work in the presence of the Wild Beast. And he told the inhabitants of the earth to erect a statue to the Wild Beast who had received the sword-stroke and yet had recovered.
To nowuondo ji modakie piny, nikech honni mane omiye teko mondo otim e nyim ondiek malich mokwongo. Ne ogolo chik mondo gilosi gima ket ma imiyogo duongʼ ondiek malich mokwongo mane ohiny gi ligangla to ok otho.
15 And power was granted him to give breath to the statue of the Wild Beast, so that the statue of the Wild Beast could even speak and cause all who refuse to worship it to be put to death.
Nomiye teko mondo omi gima ket mar ondiek malich mokwongo muya, mondo owuo kendo one ni jogo duto mane otamore lamo gima ketno onegi.
16 And he causes all, small and great, rich and poor, free men and slaves, to have stamped upon them a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
Bende nochuno ji duto, jomatindo gi jomadongo, jo-mwandu kod jochan, wasumbini gi joma ni thuolo, mondo oket kido e lwetegi ma korachwich kata e lela wengegi,
17 in order that no one should be allowed to buy or sell unless he had the mark--either the name of the Wild Beast or the number which his name represents.
mondo ngʼato angʼata kik ngʼiew kata loko gimoro amora, makmana ka en gi kidono ma en nying ondiek malichno kata namba mochungʼ kar nyingno.
18 Here is scope for ingenuity. Let people of shrewd intelligence calculate the number of the Wild Beast; for it indicates a certain man, and his number is 666.
To ngʼeyo tiend wachni dwaro rieko, Ngʼat man-gi rieko, mondo okwan namba mar ondiek, nikech nambano ochungʼ kar nying dhano. Nambano en mia auchiel gi piero auchiel gauchiel.
