Revelation 12
1 And a great marvel was seen in Heaven-- a woman who was robed with the sun and had the moon under her feet, and had also a wreath of stars round her head, was with child,
Kaj granda signo vidiĝis en la ĉielo: virino vestita per la suno, kaj la luno sub ŝiaj piedoj, kaj sur ŝia kapo krono el dek du steloj;
2 and she was crying out in the pains and agony of childbirth.
kaj estante graveda, ŝi ekkriis, naskodolorigate kaj suferante por naski.
3 And another marvel was seen in Heaven--a great fiery-red Dragon, with seven heads and ten horns; and on his heads were seven kingly crowns.
Kaj vidiĝis alia signo en la ĉielo; kaj jen granda ruĝa drako, havanta sep kapojn kaj dek kornojn, kaj sur siaj kapoj sep diademojn.
4 His tail was drawing after it a third part of the stars of Heaven, and it dashed them to the ground. And in front of the woman who was about to become a mother, the Dragon was standing in order to devour the child as soon as it was born.
Kaj ĝia vosto trenis trionon de la steloj de la ĉielo, kaj ĵetis ilin sur la teron; kaj la drako staris antaŭ la virino naskonta, por ke, kiam ŝi estos naskinta, ĝi formanĝu ŝian infanon.
5 She gave birth to a son--a male child, destined before long to rule all nations with an iron scepter. But her child was caught up to God and His throne,
Kaj ŝi naskis filon, viran infanon, kiu regos ĉiujn naciojn per fera sceptro; kaj ŝia infano estis forkaptita supren al Dio kaj al Lia trono.
6 and the woman fled into the Desert, there to be cared for, for 1,260 days, in a place which God had prepared for her.
Kaj la virino forkuris en la dezerton, kie ŝi havis lokon pretigitan de Dio, por ke tie oni nutru ŝin mil ducent sesdek tagojn.
7 And war broke out in Heaven, Michael and his angels engaging in battle with the Dragon.
Kaj fariĝis milito en la ĉielo: Miĥael kaj liaj anĝeloj ekmilitis kontraŭ la drako; kaj militis la drako kaj ĝiaj anĝeloj;
8 The Dragon fought and so did his angels; but they were defeated, and there was no longer any room found for them in Heaven.
kaj ne prosperis al ili, kaj ne plu troviĝis ilia loko en la ĉielo.
9 The great Dragon, the ancient serpent, he who is called 'the Devil' and 'the Adversary' and leads the whole earth astray, was hurled down: he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
Kaj ĵetiĝis malsupren la granda drako, la antikva serpento, nomata Diablo kaj Satano, la trompanto de la tuta mondo; ĝi ĵetiĝis sur la teron, kaj ĝiaj anĝeloj ĵetiĝis kun ĝi.
10 Then I heard a loud voice speaking in Heaven. It said, "The salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God have now come, and the sovereignty of His Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been hurled down--he who, day after day and night after night, was wont to accuse them in the presence of God.
Kaj mi aŭdis grandan voĉon en la ĉielo, dirantan: Nun fariĝis la savo kaj la potenco kaj la reĝeco de nia Dio, kaj la aŭtoritato de Lia Kristo; ĉar ĵetiĝis malsupren la akuzanto de niaj fratoj, kiu tage kaj nokte akuzas ilin antaŭ nia Dio.
11 But they have gained the victory over him because of the blood of the Lamb and of the testimony which they have borne, and because they held their lives cheap and did not shrink even from death.
Kaj ili venkis ĝin pro la sango de la Ŝafido, kaj pro la vorto de sia atesto; kaj ili ne amis sian vivon ĝis morto mem.
12 For this reason be glad, O Heaven, and you who live in Heaven! Alas for the earth and the sea! For the Devil has come down to you; full of fierce anger, because he knows that his appointed time is short."
Pro tio ĝoju, ho ĉieloj, kaj vi, kiuj en ili loĝas. Ve al la tero kaj al la maro! ĉar la diablo malsupreniris en vin, havante grandan koleron, sciante, ke li havas nur mallongan tempon.
13 And when the Dragon saw that he was hurled down to the earth, he went in pursuit of the woman who had given birth to the male child.
Kaj kiam la drako vidis, ke ĝi estas ĵetita sur la teron, ĝi persekutis la virinon, kiu naskis la viran infanon.
14 Then, the two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman to enable her to fly away into the Desert to the place assigned her, there to be cared for, for a period of time, two periods of time, and half a period of time, beyond the reach of the serpent.
Kaj al la virino estis donitaj la du flugiloj de la granda aglo, por ke ŝi flugu en la dezerton, sur sian lokon, kie ŝi estas nutrata tempon kaj tempojn kaj duontempon, for de la vizaĝo de la serpento.
15 And the serpent poured water from his mouth--a very river it seemed--after the woman, in the hope that she would be carried away by its flood.
Kaj la serpento elĵetis el sia buŝo, post la virinon, akvon kvazaŭ riveron, por ke ĝi igu ŝin forportiĝi de la fluo.
16 But the earth came to the woman's help: it opened its mouth and drank up the river which the Dragon had poured from his mouth.
Kaj la tero helpis la virinon, kaj la tero malfermis sian buŝon, kaj englutis la riveron, kiun la drako elĵetis el sia buŝo.
17 This made the Dragon furiously angry with the woman, and he went elsewhere to make war upon her other children--those who keep God's commandments and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus.
Kaj la drako furiozis kontraŭ la virino, kaj foriris, por fari militon kontraŭ la restintojn de ŝia idaro, kiuj observas la ordonojn de Dio kaj havas la ateston de Jesuo;
