Philippians 3
1 In conclusion, my brethren, be joyful in the Lord. For me to give you the same warnings as before is not irksome to me, while so far as you are concerned it is a safe precaution.
Sa kataposan, akong mga igsoon, paglipay diha sa Ginoo. Alang kanako ang pagsulat pag-usab niining samang mga butang diha kaninyo dili makahasol. Kining mga butanga makapanalipod kaninyo.
2 Beware of 'the dogs,' the bad workmen, the self-mutilators.
Pagbantay sa mga iro. Pagbantay sa daotang mga magbubuhat. Pagbantay sa mga mamumuno.
3 For we are the true circumcision--we who render to God a spiritual worship and make our boast in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in outward ceremonies:
Kay kita ang mga tinuli. Kita ang nagadayeg pinaagi sa Espiritu sa Dios. Kita mapasigarbuhon diha kang Cristo Jesus, ug walay pagsalig sa unod.
4 although I myself might have some excuse for confidence in outward ceremonies. If any one else claims a right to trust in them, far more may I:
Bisan pa, ako sa akong kaugalingon adunay pagsalig sa unod. Kung si bisan kinsa ang naghunahuna nga siya adunay pagsalig sa unod, ako gayod mas labaw pa. Ako gituli sa ikawalo ka adlaw.
5 circumcised, as I was, on the eighth day, a member of the race of Israel and of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew sprung from Hebrews; as to the Law a Pharisee;
Ako natawo sa kaliwatan sa Israel, sa tribo ni Benjamin. Ako natawo nga usa ka Hebreohanon sa Hebreohanong kagikan. Mahitungod sa balaod, ako natawo nga usa ka Pariseo.
6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the Church; as to the righteousness which comes through Law, blameless.
Ako mainiton nga naglutos sa simbahan. Mahitungod sa pagkamatarong sa balaod, walay ikasaway kanako.
7 Yet all that was gain to me--for Christ's sake I have reckoned it loss.
Apan bisan unsang mga butang nga gitamod kanako, giisip ko sila ingon nga walay bili tungod kang Cristo.
8 Nay, I even reckon all things as pure loss because of the priceless privilege of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. And for His sake I have suffered the loss of everything, and reckon it all as mere refuse, in order that I may win Christ and be found in union with Him,
Sa pagkatinuod, karon akong giisip kining tanang butang nga kapildihan tungod sa labing maayo nga kahibalo kang Cristo Jesus nga akong Ginoo. Tungod kaniya akong gisalikway ang tanang butang. Giisip ko sila nga walay bili aron akong maangkon si Cristo
9 not having a righteousness of my own, derived from the Law, but that which arises from faith in Christ--the righteousness which comes from God through faith.
ug mahikaplagan diha kaniya. Ako wala magbaton sa pagkamatarong sa akong kaugalingon gikan sa balaod. Hinuon, ako adunay pagkamatarong pinaagi sa pagtuo diha kang Cristo, ang pagkamatarong nga gikan sa Dios sumala sa pagtuo.
10 I long to know Christ and the power which is in His resurrection, and to share in His sufferings and die even as He died;
Busa karon buot nako nga masayran siya ug ang gahom sa iyang pagkabanhaw ug ang pakig-ambit sa iyang mga pag-antos. Buot ako nga mausab pinaagi kang Cristo ngadto sa pagkasama sa iyang kamatayon,
11 in the hope that I may attain to the resurrection from among the dead.
bisan unsa nga paagi aron nga akong masinatian ang pagkabanhaw gikan sa mga patay.
12 I do not say that I have already won the race or have already reached perfection. But I am pressing on, striving to lay hold of the prize for which also Christ has laid hold of me.
Dili tinuod nga ako nang nadawat kining mga butanga, o nga ako nahimo na nga hingpit. Apan nagpadayon ako aron nga akong makuptan kana diin ako gikuptan ni Cristo Jesus.
13 Brethren, I do not imagine that I have yet laid hold of it. But this one thing I do--forgetting everything which is past and stretching forward to what lies in front of me,
Mga igsoon, wala ako maghunahuna nga ako mismo nakakupot na niini. Apan adunay usa ka butang: Akong gikalimtan kung unsa ang nangagi ug nakigbisog alang sa umaabot.
14 with my eyes fixed on the goal I push on to secure the prize of God's heavenward call in Christ Jesus.
Nagpadayon ako padulong sa dag-anan aron pagdaog sa ganti sa langitnong pagtawag sa Dios diha kang Cristo Jesus.
15 Therefore let all of us who are mature believers cherish these thoughts; and if in any respect you think differently, that also God will make clear to you.
Kitang tanan nga mga hamtong, maghunahuna kita niini nga paagi. Ug kung kamo maghunahuna sa lahi mahitungod sa bisan unsa, ang Dios usab magapadayag niana kaninyo.
16 But whatever be the point that we have already reached, let us persevere in the same course.
Apan, bisan unsa ang atong nakab-ot, maglakaw kita sa hapsay nga pamaagi sumala niini.
17 Brethren, vie with one another in imitating me, and carefully observe those who follow the example which we have set you.
Pagsundog kanako, mga igsoon. Bantayi pag-ayo kadtong naglakaw pinaagi sa panag-ingnan diha kaninyo nga anaa kanamo.
18 For there are many whom I have often described to you, and I now even with tears describe them, as being enemies to the Cross of Christ.
Daghan ang nagalakaw, mahitungod niadtong kanunay nako nga ginasulti kaninyo, ug karon ako nagsulti kaninyo uban sa mga luha—daghan ang naglakaw ingon nga kaaway sa krus ni Cristo.
19 Their end is destruction, their bellies are their God, their glory is in their shame, and their minds are devoted to earthly things.
Ang ilang padulngan mao ang kalaglagan. Kay ang ilang dios mao ang ilang tiyan, ug ang ilang garbo mao ang ilang kaulawan. Sila naghunahuna mahitungod sa kalibotanong mga butang.
20 We, however, are free citizens of Heaven, and we are waiting with longing expectation for the coming from Heaven of a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Apan ang atong puluy-anan didto sa langit, nga diin kita usab nagpaabot alang sa manluluwas, ang Ginoong Jesu-Cristo.
21 who, in the exercise of the power which He has even to subject all things to Himself, will transform this body of our humiliation until it resembles His own glorious body.
Siya ang mag-usab sa atong maluyahong lawas ngadto sa lawas nga giporma sama sa iyang mahimayaon nga lawas, nga giporma pinaagi sa kusog sa iyang gahom aron dumalahan ang tanang butang sa iyang kaugalingon.
