Matthew 8
1 Upon descending from the hill country He was followed by immense crowds.
১যীচু যেতিয়া পৰ্বতৰ পৰা নামি আহিল, তেতিয়া মানুহৰ বৃহৎ দল এটাও তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে আহিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
2 And a leper came to Him, and throwing himself at His feet, said, "Sir, if only you are willing you are able to cleanse me."
২সেই সময়ত এজন কুষ্ঠ ৰোগী তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি প্ৰণিপাত কৰি তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, আপুনি যদি ইচ্ছা কৰে, তেনেহলে মোক শুচি কৰিব পাৰে।”
3 So Jesus put out His hand and touched him, and said, "I am willing: be cleansed." Instantly he was cleansed from his leprosy;
৩যীচুৱে হাত খন আগবঢ়াই তেওঁক চুই ক’লে, “মই ইচ্ছা কৰিছোঁ; তুমি শুচি হোৱা।” লগে লগে মানুহ জনৰ কুষ্ঠৰোগ ভাল হৈ গ’ল।
4 and Jesus said to him, "Be careful to tell no one, but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses appointed as evidence for them."
৪তেতিয়া যীচুৱে মানুহ জনক ক’লে, ‘সাৱধান, তুমি এই কথা কাকো নকবা; বৰং যোৱা, পুৰোহিতৰ আগত গৈ নিজকে দেখুওৱা আৰু মোচিৰ আদেশ অনুসাৰে নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ কৰা। তেতিয়া লোক সকলৰ আগত তুমি সাক্ষ্য হবা যে, তুমি সুস্থ হ’লা।’
5 After His entry into Capernaum a Captain came to Him, and entreated Him.
৫ইয়াৰ পাছত যীচু কফৰনাহূম নগৰলৈ গ’ল। তাত এজন এশৰ সেনাপতিয়ে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি বিনয় কৰি ক’লে,
6 "Sir," he said, "my servant at home is lying ill with paralysis, and is suffering great pain."
৬“হে প্ৰভু, মোৰ এজন দাস ঘৰত বিচনাত পৰি আছে। সি পক্ষাঘাত ৰোগত অতিশয় যাতনা পাই আছে।”
7 "I will come and cure him," said Jesus.
৭যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “মই আহিম আৰু তেওঁক সুস্থ কৰিম।”
8 "Sir," replied the Captain, "I am not a fit person to receive you under my roof: merely say the word, and my servant will be cured.
৮সেই সেনাপতিয়ে উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, মই এনে যোগ্য নহওঁ যে আপুনি মোৰ ঘৰত সোমাব; কিন্তু মুখেৰে মাথোন কৈ দিয়ক, তাতে মোৰ দাস সুস্থ হ’ব।
9 For I myself am also under authority, and have soldiers under me. To one I say 'Go,' and he goes, to another 'Come,' and he comes, and to my slave 'Do this or that,' and he does it."
৯মই নিজেও আনৰ অধিকাৰৰ অধীন আৰু মোৰ অধীনতো সৈন্য সকল আছে। মই এজনক ‘যা’ বুলিলে, সি যায়; আন জনক ‘আহ’ বুলিলে, সি ‘আহে’ আৰু মোৰ দাসক ‘এইটো কৰ’ বুলিলে সি সেই কাম কৰে।”
10 Jesus listened to this reply, and was astonished, and said to the people following Him, "I solemnly tell you that in no Israelite have I found faith as great as this.
১০যীচুৱে এই কথা শুনি বিস্মিত হ’ল আৰু যি সকল লোক তেওঁৰ পাছে পাছে গৈ আছিল, সেই লোক সকলক উদ্দেশ্য কৰি তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই আপোনালোকক সঁচাকৈয়ে কৈছোঁ, ইস্ৰায়েলত ইমান বেচি বিশ্বাস মই কাৰো মাজত দেখা পোৱা নাই।
11 And I tell you that many will come from the east and from the west and will recline at table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of the Heavens,
১১মই আপোনালোকক কওঁ, পূব আৰু পশ্চিম সকলো দিশৰ পৰা অনেক আহিব আৰু অব্ৰাহাম, ইচহাক আৰু যাকোবৰ লগত স্বৰ্গৰাজ্যত ভোজন কৰিবলৈ বহিব;
12 while the natural heirs of the Kingdom will be driven out into the darkness outside: there will be the weeping aloud and the gnashing of teeth."
১২কিন্তু যি সকল এই ৰাজ্যৰ সন্তান, তেওঁলোকক বাহিৰৰ আন্ধাৰত পেলোৱা হ’ব। তাতে লোক সকলে ক্ৰন্দন কৰিব আৰু যন্ত্রণাত দাঁত কৰচিব।”
13 And Jesus said to the Captain, "Go, and just as you have believed, so be it for you." And the servant recovered precisely at that time.
১৩তাৰ পাছত যীচুৱে সেই এশৰ সেনাপতিক ক’লে, “তুমি যোৱা; তুমি যি দৰে বিশ্বাস কৰিলা, সেইদৰেই হওক।” সেই সময়তেই তেওঁৰ দাস জন সুস্থ হ’ল।
14 After this Jesus went to the house of Peter, whose mother-in-law he found ill in bed with fever.
১৪পাছত যীচু পিতৰৰ ঘৰত সোমাল আৰু তাতে পিতৰৰ শাহুৱেকক জ্বৰত পৰি থকা দেখিলে।
15 He touched her hand and the fever left her: and then she rose and waited upon Him.
১৫যীচুৱে তেওঁৰ হাত খন স্পর্শ কৰিলে আৰু লগে লগে তেওঁৰ জ্বৰ নাইকিয়া হ’ল। তেতিয়া তেওঁ বিচনাৰ পৰা উঠি যীচুৰ সেৱা শুশ্ৰূষা কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
16 In the evening many demoniacs were brought to Him, and with a word He expelled the demons; and He cured all the sick,
১৬সন্ধিয়া হোৱাত লোক সকলে ভূতে পোৱা অনেক মানুহক তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিলে। তেওঁ মুখৰ কথাৰেই সেই ভূতৰ আত্মাবোৰ খেদালে আৰু যি সকল অসুস্থ আছিল, সেই সকলো ৰোগীকে সুস্থ কৰিলে।
17 in order that this prediction of the Prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, "He took on Him our weaknesses, and bore the burden of our diseases."
১৭ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰা যিচয়া ভাববাদীয়ে কোৱা এই বচন পূর্ণ হ’ল, “তেৱেঁই আমাৰ দূৰ্বলতা ল’লে আৰু আমাৰ ৰোগৰ ভাৰ বলে।”
18 Seeing great crowds about Him Jesus had given directions to cross to the other side of the Lake,
১৮যীচুৱে নিজৰ চাৰিওফালে বহু মানুহৰ দল দেখি শিষ্য সকলক গালীল সাগৰৰ সিপাৰলৈ যাবৰ বাবে আজ্ঞা দিলে।
19 when a Scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
১৯সেই সময়ত বিধানৰ অধ্যাপক এজনে যীচুৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “হে গুৰু, আপুনি য’লৈকে যাব, ময়ো আপোনাৰ পাছে পাছে তালৈ যাম।”
20 "Foxes have holes," replied Jesus, "and birds have nests; but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
২০যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “শিয়ালৰ গাত আৰু আকাশৰ চৰাইৰো বাহ আছে; কিন্তু মানুহৰ পুত্ৰৰ নিজৰ মূৰ থবলৈ ঠাই নাই।”
21 Another of the disciples said to Him, "Sir, allow me first to go and bury my father."
২১শিষ্য সকলৰ মাজৰ আন এজনে আহি তেওঁক ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, প্ৰথমতে গৈ মোৰ পিতৃক মৈদাম দি আহিবলৈ অনুমতি দিয়ক।”
22 "Follow me," said Jesus, "and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
২২যীচুৱে তেওঁক ক’লে, “যি সকল মৃত, তেওঁলোকেই মৃত সকলক মৈদাম দিয়ক, কিন্তু তুমি মোৰ পাছে পাছে আহা।”
23 Then He went on board a fishing-boat, and His disciples followed Him.
২৩তাৰ পাছত যীচু নাৱত উঠিল আৰু তেওঁৰ শিষ্য সকলেও তেওঁক অনুসৰণ কৰিলে।
24 But suddenly there arose a great storm on the Lake, so that the waves threatened to engulf the boat; but He was asleep.
২৪হঠাৎ সাগৰত প্রবল ধুমুহা আহিল আৰু নাও খনৰ ওপৰলৈকে ঢৌৰ লহৰবোৰ ওফন্দি উঠিবলৈ ধৰিলে; তেতিয়া যীচু টোপনিত আছিল।
25 So they came and woke Him, crying, "Master, save us, we are drowning!"
২৫শিষ্য সকলে তেওঁৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি তেওঁক জগাই ক’লে, “হে প্ৰভু, আমাক বচাওঁক; আমি এতিয়া মৰিম।”
26 "Why are you so easily frightened," He replied, "you men of little faith?" Then He rose and reproved the winds and the waves, and there was a perfect calm;
২৬তেতিয়া যীচুৱে তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “অল্পবিশ্বাসীৰ দল! তোমালোকে কিয় ইমান ভয় খাইছা?” পাছত তেওঁ উঠি, বতাহ আৰু সাগৰক ডবিয়ালে; তেতিয়া সকলোবোৰ অতি শান্ত হ’ল।
27 and the men, filled with amazement, exclaimed, "What kind of man is this? for the very winds and waves obey him!"
২৭ইয়াকে দেখি লোক সকলে বিস্ময় মানিলে আৰু ক’লে, “এওঁ কেনে ধৰণৰ মানুহ যে বতাহ আৰু সাগৰেও এওঁৰ কথা মানে।”
28 On His arrival at the other side, in the country of the Gadarenes, there met Him two men possessed by demons, coming from among the tombs: they were so dangerously fierce that no one was able to pass that way.
২৮যীচু যেতিয়া সাগৰৰ সিপাৰে থকা গাদাৰীয়া সকলৰ দেশলৈ আহিল, তাতে ভূতে পোৱা দুজন মানুহ মৈদামনিৰ পৰা বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই আহিল আৰু তেওঁৰ আগত উপস্থিত হ’ল। সিহঁত ইমানেই ভয়ানক আছিল যে, কোনোৱে সেই বাটেদি যাব নোৱাৰিছিল।
29 They cried aloud, "What hast Thou to do with us, Thou Son of God? Hast Thou come here to torment us before the time?"
২৯সিহঁতে চিঞৰি ক’লে, “হে ঈশ্বৰৰ পুত্ৰ, আপোনাৰ লগত আমাৰনো কি কাম আছে? নির্দ্দিষ্ট সময়ৰ পূৰ্বেই আমাক যাতনা দিবলৈ ইয়ালৈ আহিছে নেকি?”
30 Now at some distance from them a vast herd of swine were feeding.
৩০সেই সময়ত সিহঁতৰ পৰা নাতিদূৰৈত এজাক গাহৰি চৰি আছিল।
31 So the demons entreated Him. "If Thou drivest us out," they said, "send us into the herd of swine."
৩১ভূতবোৰে যীচুক কাকুতি কৰি ক’লে, আপুনি যদি আমাক খেদাবলৈকে বিচাৰে, তেনেহলে সেই গাহৰি জাকৰ মাজত সোমাবলৈ আমাক পঠিয়াই দিয়ক।
32 "Go," He replied. Then they came out from the men and went into the swine, whereupon the entire herd instantly rushed down the cliff into the Lake and perished in the water.
৩২তেওঁ সিহঁতক ক’লে, “তেনেহলে যা!” তেতিয়া মানুহ দুজনৰ পৰা ভূতবোৰ বাহিৰ ওলাই আহি গাহৰিবোৰত সোমাল। তাতে সেই গাহৰিৰ জাকটো পাহাৰৰ গৰায়েদি নামি দৌৰি গ’ল আৰু সাগৰত পৰি পানীত ডুবি মৰিল।
33 The swineherds fled, and went and told the whole story in the town, including what had happened to the demoniacs.
৩৩তেতিয়া গাহৰি চৰোৱা ৰখীয়াবোৰে দৌৰি পলাই গৈ নগৰত থকা মানুহবোৰক সকলোবোৰ কথা জনালে; বিশেষকৈ ভূতে পোৱা লোক দুজনৰ বিষয়েও সম্বাদ দিলে।
34 So at once the whole population came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they besought Him to leave their country.
৩৪তেতিয়া যীচুক সাক্ষাৎ কৰিবলৈ নগৰৰ সকলো মানুহ ওলাই আহিল; তেওঁলোকে যীচুক দেখা পাই তেওঁক অনুৰোধ কৰি ক’লে, তেওঁ যেন তেওঁলোকৰ অঞ্চলৰ পৰা গুচি যায়।
