Mark 4
1 Once more He began to teach by the side of the Lake, and a vast multitude of people came together to listen to Him. He therefore went on board the boat and sat there, a little way from the land; and all the people were on the shore close to the water.
၁နောက်တစ်ဖန် အိုင် နား မှာ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူစဉ်တွင်၊ များစွာ သောလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည် အထံ တော်၌ စုဝေး ကြသောကြောင့် ၊ အိုင် တွင် လှေ ထဲသို့ ဝင် ၍ ထိုင် တော်မူ၏။ ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့သည် အိုင် နား ကုန်း ပေါ်မှာ နေ ကြ၏။
2 Then He proceeded to teach them many lessons in figurative language; and in His teaching He said,
၂ထိုအခါ ဥပမာ စကားအားဖြင့် များစွာ သောဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒကို ပေး၍ မြွက်ဆို တော်မူသည်မှာ၊
3 "Listen: the sower goes out to sow.
၃နားထောင် ကြလော့။ မျိုးစေ့ ကြဲသောသူ သည် မျိုးစေ့ ကိုကြဲခြင်းငှာထွက်သွား ၏။”
4 As he sows, some of the seed falls by the way-side, and the birds come and peck it up.
၄အစေ့ကို ကြဲ သည်တွင် အချို့ သောအစေ့တို့သည် လမ်း ၌ ကျ သဖြင့် ၊ မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်ငှက် တို့သည် လာ ၍ ကောက်စား ကြ၏။”
5 Some falls on the rocky ground where it finds but little earth, and it shoots up quickly because it has no depth of soil;
၅အချို့ သောအစေ့တို့သည် မြေ နည်း ၍ ကျောက် ပေါများသောအရပ်၌ ကျ သဖြင့် ၊ မြေ တိမ် သောကြောင့် ချက်ခြင်း အပင်ပေါက် သော်လည်း ၊”
6 but when the sun is risen, it is scorched, and through having no root it withers away.
၆နေ ထွက် သောအခါ ပူလောင် သည်ဖြစ်၍ အမြစ် မ စွဲ သောကြောင့် ညှိုးနွမ်း ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။”
7 Some, again, falls among the thorns; and the thorns spring up and stifle it, so that it yields no crop.
၇အချို့ သောအစေ့တို့သည် ဆူးပင် တို့တွင် ကျ သဖြင့် ၊ ဆူးပင် တို့သည် ကြီးပွား ၍ ညှဉ်းဆဲ သောကြောင့် အသီး မ သီး ကြ။”
8 But some of the seed falls into good ground, and gives a return: it comes up and increases, and yields thirty, sixty, or a hundred-fold."
၈အချို့ သောအစေ့တို့သည် ကောင်း သောမြေ ၌ ကျ သဖြင့် ၊ အပင်ပေါက် ၍ ကြီးပွား လျက် အဆသုံးဆယ် ၊ အဆခြောက်ဆယ် ၊ အဆတရာ ပွားများ ၍ အသီး သီး ကြ၏။”
9 "Listen," He added, "every one who has ears to listen with!"
၉ကြား စရာ နား ရှိ သောသူ မည်သည်ကားကြား ပါစေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
10 When He was alone, the Twelve and the others who were about Him requested Him to explain His figurative language.
၁၀ဆိတ်ကွယ် ရာအရပ်၌ ရှိ တော်မူသောအခါ တစ်ကျိပ် နှစ်ပါးသောသူ တို့နှင့် အခြံအရံ တော်တို့သည် ထို ဥပမာ ကို မေးမြန်း ကြလျှင် ၊
11 "To you," He replied, "has been entrusted the secret truth concerning the Kingdom of God; but to those others outside your number all this is spoken in figurative language;
၁၁ကိုယ်တော်က၊ သင် တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင့် နိုင်ငံ တော်၏နက်နဲ သောအရာကို သိရသောအခွင့်ရှိ ကြ၏။”
12 that "'They may look and look but not see, and listen and listen but not understand, lest perchance they should return and be pardoned.'"
၁၂ပြင်၌ရှိသော ထိုသူတို့မူကား၊ မြင် လျက်ပင် အာရုံ မ ပြုဘဲမြင်၍၊ ကြား လျက်ပင်အနက် ကို နားမ လည် ဘဲ ကြား သဖြင့် ၊ သူ တို့အကျင့် မ ပြောင်းလဲ၊ အပြစ်မလွှတ် ရသည်တိုင်အောင်သူ တို့အား ဟောသမျှကို ဥပမာ အားဖြင့် ဟောရ၏။”
13 "Do you all miss the meaning of this parable?" He added; "how then will you understand the rest of my parables?"
၁၃သင်တို့သည် ဤ ဥပမာ ကိုမျှ နား မလည်လျှင်၊ ဥပမာ ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို အဘယ်သို့ နားလည် ကြမည်နည်း။”
14 "What the sower sows is the Message.
၁၄မျိုးစေ့ ကြဲသောသူ သည် တရားစကား ကိုကြဲ ၏။”
15 Those who receive the seed by the way-side are those in whom the Message is sown, but, when they have heard it, Satan comes at once and carries away the Message sown in them.
၁၅တရား စကားကို လမ်း ၌ ကြဲ ခြင်း၊ အကြောင်းအရာကား၊ တရားစကားကို ကြား သည်ရှိသော်၊ စာတန် သည် ချက်ခြင်း လာ ၍ နှလုံး ၌ ကြဲ သော တရားစကား ကို နှုတ်ယူ တတ်သည်ဟု ဆိုလိုသတည်း။”
16 In the same way those who receive the seed on the rocky places are those who, when they have heard the Message, at once accept it joyfully,
၁၆ကျောက် ပေါသောအရပ် ၌ ကြဲ ခြင်းအကြောင်းအရာကား၊ တရားစကား ကိုကြား ၍ ဝမ်းမြောက် သော စိတ်နှင့် ချက်ခြင်း ခံယူ သော်လည်း ၊”
17 but they have no root within them. They last for a time; then, when suffering or persecution comes because of the Message, they are immediately overthrown.
၁၇စိတ် နှလုံး၌ အမြစ် မ စွဲ ခဏ သာတည် သဖြင့် တရား စကားကြောင့် အမှုအခင်း နှင့် ညှဉ်းဆဲ ခြင်းကို ခံရ သောအခါ ချက်ခြင်း ဖောက်ပြန် တတ်သည်ဟု ဆိုလိုသတည်း။”
18 Others there are who receive the seed among the thorns: these are they who have heard the Message,
၁၈ဆူးပင် တို့တွင် ကြဲ ခြင်းအကြောင်းအရာကား၊ တရားစကား ကိုကြား ၍၊”
19 but worldly cares and the deceitfulness of wealth and the excessive pursuit of other objects come in and stifle the Message, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
၁၉လောကီ အမှု၌စိုးရိမ် ခြင်း၊ စည်းစိမ် ဥစ္စာ၏ လှည့်စား ခြင်း၊ ကြွင်း သောအရာ ကို တပ်မက် ခြင်းစိတ် တို့ သည် တရားစကား ကို လွှမ်းမိုး ညှဉ်းဆဲ တတ်သောကြောင့် အသီး မသီးနိုင် ဟု ဆိုလို သတည်း။” (aiōn g165)
20 Those, on the other hand, who have received the seed on the good ground, are all who hear the Message and welcome it, and yield a return of thirty, sixty, or a hundred fold."
၂၀ကောင်း သောမြေ ၌ ကြဲ ခြင်းအကြောင်းအရာကား၊ တရားစကား ကို ကြား ၍ခံယူ သဖြင့် ၊ အဆသုံးဆယ် ၊ အဆခြောက်ဆယ် ၊ အဆတရာ ပွားများ၍ အသီးသီး တတ်သည်ဟု ဆိုလို သတည်း။”
21 He went on to say, "Is the lamp brought in in order to be put under the bushel or under the bed? Is it not rather in order that it may be placed on the lampstand?
၂၁ထိုမှတစ်ပါးဆီမီး ကို ဆီမီးခုံ ပေါ်မှာ မ တင် ၊ တောင်း ဇလားအောက် ၊ ခုတင် အောက် ၌ ဖုံးထား ခြင်းငှာ ယူခဲ့ သလော။”
22 Why, there is nothing hidden except with a view to its being ultimately disclosed, nor has anything been made a secret but that it may at last come to light.
၂၂ဆိတ်ကွယ် ရာ၌ရှိ သမျှတို့သည် ထင်ရှား လိမ့်မည်။ ဝှက်ထား လျက်ရှိသမျှတို့သည်လည်း ပွင့်လင်း လိမ့်မည်။”
23 Listen, every one who has ears to listen with!"
၂၃ကြား စရာနား ရှိ သောသူ မည်သည်ကားကြား ပါစေ။”
24 He also said to them, "Take care what you hear. With what measure you measure, it will be measured to you, and that with interest.
၂၄ထိုမှတပါးသင်တို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ ကြားနာ ရသည်ကို သတိပြု ကြလော့။ အကြင်ချိန်၊ တင်း ပမာဏနှင့် သင်တို့သည် သူတစ်ပါးအား ပေး ၏။ ထိုပမာဏ အတိုင်း ကိုယ်တိုင်ခံရ ကြမည်။”
25 For those who have will have more given them; and from those who have not, even what they have will be taken away."
၂၅အကြင်သူ သည် ရ တတ်၏၊ ထိုသူ အား ပေး ဦးမည်။ အကြင်သူ သည် ဆင်းရဲ ၏၊ ထိုသူ ၌ ရှိ သမျှ ကိုပင် နှုတ် လိမ့်မည်။”
26 Another saying of His was this: "The Kingdom of God is as if a man scattered seed over the ground:
၂၆ထိုမှတစ်ပါး လူ သည် လယ် ၌ မျိုးစေ့ ကြဲ ပြီးမှ နောက်တစ်ဖန်မိမိမကြည့်မမှတ်၊”
27 he spends days and nights, now awake, now asleep, while the seed sprouts and grows tall, he knows not how.
၂၇ညဉ့် ၊ နေ့ ၊ အိပ် လျက် ၊ နိုး လျက်နေသော်လည်း အပင်ပေါက် ၍ ကြီးပွား သည်နှင့်ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်တူ ၏။”
28 Of itself the land produces the crop-- first the blade, then the ear; afterwards the perfect grain is seen in the ear.
၂၈မြေကြီး သည် မိမိ အလိုအလျောက်အသီးကိုသီး စေ၍ ရှေးဦးစွာ အညှောက် ၊ ထိုနောက် အနှံ ၊ ထိုနောက် အနှံ ထဲမှာ အောင်မာ သောအဆန် ကို ဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။”
29 But no sooner is the crop ripe, than he sends the reapers, because the time of harvest has come."
၂၉အသီး မှည့် ၍ ရိတ် ချိန်ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ လယ်ရှင်သည် မဆိုင်းမလင့် ၊ တံစဉ် နှင့် ရိတ် စေတတ် သည်” ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
30 Another saying of His was this: "How are we to picture the Kingdom of God? or by what figure of speech shall we represent it?
၃၀ထိုမှတပါး ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ ပုံပြ ရအံ့နည်း။ အဘယ် ဥပမာ နှင့် ခိုင်းနှိုင်း ရအံ့နည်းဟူမူကား၊”
31 It is like a mustard-seed, which, when sown in the earth, is the smallest of all the seeds in the world;
၃၁မုန်ညင်း စေ့ နှင့်တူ ၏။ မုန်ညင်းစေ့သည် မြေ ၌ စိုက် သောအခါ မြေ ၌ ရှိသော အစေ့ တကာ တို့ထက် ငယ် သော်လည်း ၊ စိုက် ပြီးမှ အပင်ပေါက် ၍၊”
32 yet when sown it springs up and becomes larger than all the herbs, and throws out great branches, so that the birds build under its shadow."
၃၂မြက်ပင် တကာ တို့ထက် ကြီးပွား သဖြင့် ၊ မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်ငှက် တို့သည် အရိပ် ခို ၍ နားနေ လောက် သော အကိုင်းအခက် ကြီး တို့ကိုဖြစ် စေတတ်သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။”
33 With many such parables He used to speak the Message to them according to their capacity for receiving it.
၃၃ထိုသို့သော ဥပမာ စကားများ အားဖြင့်ကိုယ်တော်သည် ပရိသတ်များနားထောင် နိုင် သည်အတိုင်း တရား ဟော တော်မူ၏။
34 But except in figurative language He spoke nothing to them; while to His own disciples He expounded everything, in private.
၃၄ဥပမာ ကင်း ၍ ဟောပြော တော်မ မူ။ ရှိသမျှ သောအရာတို့ကို ဆိတ်ကွယ် ရာအရပ်၌ တပည့် တော်တို့ အား ဖွင့်ပြ တော်မူ၏။
35 The same day, in the evening, He said to them, "Let us cross to the other side."
၃၅ထို နေ့ ည အချိန်၌ ကိုယ်တော်က၊ ကမ်း တစ်ဘက်သို့ ကူး ကြကုန်အံ့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူလျှင် ၊
36 So they got away from the crowd, and took Him--as He was--in the boat; and other boats accompanied Him.
၃၆တပည့်တော်တို့သည် လူ စုဝေးရာမှထွက် ၍ လှေ ပေါ်၌ ရှိ နှင့်သောကိုယ်တော် ပါ လျက် သွား ကြ၏။ အခြား လှေ တို့လည်း ပါ သေး၏။
37 But a heavy squall came on, and the waves were now dashing into the boat, so that it was fast filling.
၃၇ထိုအခါ ပြင်းစွာ သောမိုဃ်းသက်မုန်တိုင်း ဖြစ် ၍ လှိုင်း တံပိုးခတ် သောကြောင့် လှေ သည် ရေနှင့် ပြည့် လေ၏။
38 But He Himself was in the stern asleep, with His head on the cushion: so they woke Him. "Rabbi," they cried, "is it nothing to you that we are drowning?"
၃၈ကိုယ်တော် သည် ပဲ့ ၌ ခေါင်းအုံး ပေါ်မှာ ကျိန်းစက် ၍နေ တော်မူ၏။ တပည့်တော်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို နှိုး ပြီးမှ ၊ အရှင် ဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်သည်ကို လျစ်လျူ သောစိတ်ရှိတော်မူသလောဟု လျှောက် ကြသော် ၊
39 So He roused Himself and rebuked the wind, and said to the waves, "Silence! Be still!" The wind sank, and a perfect calm set in.
၃၉ကိုယ်တော်သည် ထ ၍ တိတ်ဆိတ် ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာ နေဟုလေ နှင့် ပင်လယ် ကို ဆုံးမ တော်မူသဖြင့် လေ သည် ငြိမ် ၍ အလွန် သာယာ လေ၏။
40 "Why are you so timid?" He asked; "have you still no faith?"
၄၀ကိုယ်တော်ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤမျှလောက်ကြောက် တတ်သနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ယုံကြည် ခြင်းစိတ်နှင့် ကင်း သနည်း ဟု မေး တော်မူလျှင် ၊
41 Then they were filled with terror, and began to say to one another, "Who is this, then? For even wind and sea obey Him."
၄၁သူတို့သည် အလွန် ကြောက်ရွံ့ ၍ ဤ သူကား အဘယ်သို့ သောသူနည်း။ လေ နှင့် ပင်လယ် သည် သူ ၏ စကားကို နားထောင် ပါသည်တကားဟု အချင်းချင်း ပြောဆို ကြ၏။
