< Mark 2 >

1 After some days He entered Capernaum again, and it soon became known that He was at home;
Ahabhuya Kaperinaumu husiku indolwene ihuvhewa hujeinsiku nyishe lwene alihukhaya.
2 and such numbers of people came together that there was no longer room for them even round the door. He was speaking His Message to them,
Abhantu wabhinji sana waliwha bhunghine pala ha gahali shinafani mwakwe atieleile ya pala mu ndwango, nu Yesu ahayanga izwo wa bhene.
3 when there came a party of people bringing a paralytic--four men carrying him.
Abhantu bhashe bhahinza wa mwene bhahata umuntu uwa polile; abhantu bhantenine.
4 Finding themselves unable, however, to bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, they untiled the roof just over His head, and after clearing an opening they lowered the mat on which the paralytic was lying.
Lelo pahakunwa hufishile alengane yau winji wantu bhahefwa bhasanyangulanya humwanya yinyuma pipo awantu walivhinji. Wakununwaga palitubhulailina bahiswa ishitandashila bhanyemulile umtu wa polile ali agonile.
5 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are pardoned."
Halola umwoyo gwa mbanago, Yesu alibhule mutu ulayapolile, “mwanawani, ibhimbi zwaho zihombashilwe.”
6 Now there were some of the Scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts.
Lelo bhamo abhasimbi bhala khale bhawitosa humoyo gawo,
7 "Why does this man use such words?" they said; "he is blaspheming. Who can pardon sins but One--that is, God?"
“Bhahayanga moyo gao awezizye bhule ayanje eshi? Aliligaa! Bhaga umuntu huje awa uweefe idhambi isipokuwa Ungulubhi mwene mwene yawezya?”
8 At once perceiving by His spirit that they were reasoning within themselves, Jesus asked them, "Why do you thus argue in your minds?
U Yesu awimenye amwo gwakwe izyabhasibhaga kati yabho. Abhabhula bhebho, “Lelo yenu mushebhabhisho moyo nginyu?
9 Which is easier?--to say to this paralytic, 'Your sins are pardoned,' or to say, 'Rise, take up your mat, and walk?'
Lwenu iphuphusho sana aayanje wa muntu uwapolile, 'Aje imbibhi zyaho usajilwe' ama ayanje' Imelila, ega ishigonelo nishitala shaho, ujenda jee?'
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to pardon sins" --He turned to the paralytic, and said,
Lelo ili bhapate amanye aje Mwana wa Muntu ani uwamuzi uwa huhoshele umuntu imbibhizyaho zihoshilwe ahabhulau uwahobhushile uwapolile,
11 "To you I say, 'Rise, take up your mat and go home.'"
“Ibhula awe, bhuha, ega ishigonelo shaho, ubhalaje huliwe.”
12 The man rose, and immediately under the eyes of all took up his mat and went out, so that they were all filled with astonishment, gave the glory to God, and said, "We never saw anything like this."
Ahemenlila phepo naweje ishigonelo shakwe, ahanje nda munyumba yashala muntu, esho bhundhi bhaswinga nahusalifwe Ungulubhi usisya, bhayanga “Shikulu, satulole inongwa na shiine.”
13 Again He went out to the shore of the Lake, and the whole multitude kept coming to Him, and He taught them.
Ahashila andhele munshinje munshije idimi nikundi ilwa bhantu bhundhi bhala gawa mwene abhansunda.
14 And as He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the Toll Office, and said to him, "Follow me." So he rose and followed Him.
Aliashizanya alola uLawi mwana Alfayo akhele isehemu yakusanya isongo abhula, ahaga “Nfhatanje.” Ahimenlhila nahudaje.
15 When He was sitting at table in Levi's house, a large number of tax-gatherers and notorious sinners were at table with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many such who habitually followed Him.
Uwakati uYesu alwangai ishale munyumba ya Lawi bhabhuganyaga na wantu imbibhi bhaha bha bhalwanga nu Yesu nasudwe bhakwe, phepo phipo bhalibhinji bhali bhahudaga.
16 But when the Scribes of the Pharisee sect saw Him eating with the sinners and the tax-gatherers, they said to His disciples, "He is eating and drinking with the tax-gatherers and sinners!"
Ulwo asimbi, abhahali, Mafalisayo pabhahalola uYesu alwa na mbibhi adhele bhahunganya isongo, bhahabhula asunda abhakwe, “Lelo yenu anabhunganya isengo nata nabhomba imbibhi?”
17 Jesus heard the words, and He said, "It is not the healthy who require a doctor, but the sick: I did not come to appeal to the righteous, but to sinners."
U Yesu pahuvha isho ayanga, “Ishi awantu ahali bhiza amhele gao hawaziwa husiphitali; bhatu abhinu tuu bhabha waza saga ize. Awanzea bhiza abhihaki, lelo abhibhi.”
18 (Now John's disciples and those of the Pharisees were keeping a fast.) And they came and asked Him, "How is it that John's disciples and those of the Pharisees are fasting, and yours are not?"
Asudwa awa Yohana na Amafalisayo wali haga bhalwa. Wamo bhalila bhabhulile henu asundwa abha Yohana na mafalisayo habhaleha alwe, lelo asundwa bhaho bhala habha ngalila?
19 "Can a wedding party fast while the bridegroom is among them?" replied Jesus. "So long as they have the bridegroom with them, fasting is impossible.
U Yesu ahabhula, “Ishi uwa tanjile hushahe agawezya agalilaje alwe uwakati bhobho umwani sha nabhene? Khashele umwani shikukukulu shali pepo nao? Lelo walwalwunthi umwa khashele bhalinabho hawezihujefunje.”
20 But a time will come when the Bridegroom will be taken away from them; then they will fast.
Insiku ziwhiza alo ubwana nashikulukulu paishila nhipopo bhaifunga.
21 No one mends an old garment with a piece of unshrunk cloth. Otherwise, the patch put on would tear away from it--the new from the old--and a worse hole would be made.
Numo umuntu uwamama umwenda ukulu mumwenda upha mu mwenda ukulu kulu, pakashinzavhe shashe piletu, nazembushe uluwiwi afumine ni lwolizaduhane shibhibhi.
22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the wine would burst the skins, and both wine and skins would be lost. New wine needs fresh skins!"
Numo umuntu uwaponya ihobwa ipha muvhilhelo ivilazu, lelo ihobwa sibhavibazulanye vhonti vibhele nai hombwa navivho vibhabazushe nateje. Amana gakwe, nhviha imbwa ephwa muvilo ivipha.”
23 One Sabbath He was walking through the wheatfields when His disciples began to pluck the ears of wheat as they went.
Isiku limo uYesu ahashizanya pisiku ilwantu ye humagunda gamo gamo enya afundiwa bhakwe handa bhamo bhamo bhanda alwe amazhali ingingano.
24 So the Pharisees said to Him, "Look! why are they doing what on the Sabbath is unlawful?"
Na Amafarisayo bhabhabhula, “Enya, yenu bhamba gasa ganghigo ahandhu hasa haho inje yitalatibu pisiku ituye Sabato?”
25 "Have you never read," Jesus replied, "what David did when the necessity arose and he and his men were hungry:
Habhabhula, “Sagamumanyile hala habhomba u Daudi pahazaga palini nizala— umwene nabhala ali nao umwene?
26 how he entered the house of God in the High-priesthood of Abiathar, and ate the Presented Loaves--which none but the priests are allowed to eat--and gave some to his men also?"
Ishahabho munyumba ya Ngulubhi ulwa Abiathari pali puti ugosi ahalwa ibhumnda ilwa bhiewelwa pitazi— ilwa shali shizyonga ishitalatibu wamuntu wabhodhi ila waputu—-apele ga vimo vimo wabhala bhali nabho?”
27 And Jesus said to them: "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath;
U Yesu ayaga, “Sabato ihabhombilwe kwa ajili ya mwanadamu, saga wamwanadamu kwa ajili ya Sabato.
28 so that the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."
Isho Umwana wa Adamu ni Bwana, hata wi Sabato.”
