< Mark 16 >

1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary of Magdala, Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, in order to come and anoint His body.
Oluvannyuma lwa Ssabbiiti, Maliyamu Magudaleene, ne Saalome ne Maliyamu nnyina Yakobo, ne bagula ebyakaloosa eby’okusiiga omulambo gwa Yesu.
2 So, very soon after sunrise on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb;
Mu makya nnyo ku lunaku olusooka olwa wiiki ng’enjuba yaakavaayo, ne bagenda nabyo ku ntaana.
3 and they were saying to one another, 'Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?"
Awo ne bagenda nga bwe beebuuzaganya gye banaggya omuntu anaabayiringisiza ejjinja eddene lityo okuliggya ku mulyango gw’entaana.
4 But then, looking up, they saw that the stone was already rolled back: for it was of immense size.
Naye bwe baatuukawo, ne balaba ng’ejjinja lyayiringisiddwa. Ejjinja lyali ddene nnyo.
5 Upon entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at their right hand, clothed in a long white robe. They were astonished and terrified.
Bwe baayingira mu ntaana, ne balaba omusajja omuvubuka, ng’ayambadde engoye enjeru, ng’atudde ku ludda olwa ddyo! Ne bawuniikirira nnyo!
6 But he said to them, "Do not be terrified. It is Jesus you are looking for--the Nazarene who has been crucified. He has come back to life: He is not here: this is the place where they laid Him.
Naye n’abagamba nti, “Temutya. Munoonya Yesu, Omunnazaaleesi eyakomererwa. Wano taliiwo! Azuukidde. Mulabe, omulambo gwe we gwali gugalamiziddwa.
7 But go and tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you into Galilee: and that there you will see Him, as He told you."
Kale mugende mutegeeze abayigirizwa be, ne Peetero, ebigambo bino nti, ‘Yesu abakulembeddemu okugenda e Ggaliraaya. Eyo gye mulimulabira nga bwe yabagamba.’”
8 So they came out, and fled from the tomb, for they were greatly agitated and surprised; and they said not a word to any one, for they were afraid.
Awo abakazi abo ne badduka emisinde mingi okuva ku ntaana, nga batidde nnyo, nga bwe bakankana, ne batabaako n’omu gwe bategeeza olw’okutya.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) [But He rose to life early on the first day of the week, and appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom He had expelled seven demons.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Ku lunaku olusooka olwa wiiki, Yesu kwe yazuukirira, n’asooka okulabikira Maliyamu Magudaleene, omukazi gwe yagobako baddayimooni omusanvu.
10 She went and brought the tidings to those who had been with Him, as they were mourning and weeping.
Maliyamu n’agenda eri abayigirizwa, n’abasanga nga bakaaba era nga bakungubaga.
11 But they, when they were told that He was alive and that she had seen Him, could not believe it.
N’ababuulira nti Yesu amulabyeko era mulamu! Naye ne batamukkiriza!
12 Afterwards He showed Himself in another form to two of them as they were walking, on their way into the country.
Oluvannyuma lw’ebyo, Yesu ng’ali mu kifaananyi kirala n’alabikira abayigirizwa babiri bwe baali nga batambula mu kkubo nga bagenda mu kyalo.
13 These, again, went and told the news to the rest; but not even them did they believe.
Oluvannyuma nabo ne bagenda ne bategeeza abalala, naye nabo tebaakikkiriza.
14 Later still He showed Himself to the Eleven themselves whilst they were at table, and He upbraided them with their unbelief and obstinacy in not having believed those who had seen Him alive.
Oluvannyuma Yesu n’alabikira abayigirizwa ekkumi n’omu bwe baali nga balya. N’abanenya olw’obutakkiriza bwabwe, n’olw’obukakanyavu bw’emitima gyabwe kubanga tebakkiriza abo abaali bamulabyeko ng’amaze okuzuukira.
15 Then He said to them, "Go the whole world over, and proclaim the Good News to all mankind.
N’abagamba nti, “Mugende mu nsi yonna mubuulire Enjiri eri abantu bonna.
16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
Abo bonna abakkiriza ne babatizibwa balirokolebwa, naye abo abatakkiriza balisalirwa omusango ne gubasinga.
17 And signs shall attend those who believe, even such as these. By making use of my name they shall expel demons. They shall speak new languages.
Era abo abakkiriza baligoba baddayimooni ku bantu mu linnya lyange, era balyogera ennimi empya.
18 They shall take up venomous snakes, and if they drink any deadly poison it shall do them no harm whatever. They shall lay their hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover."
Banaakwatanga ku misota, era bwe banaanywanga ekintu kyonna ekyobutwa tekiibakolengako kabi, era banasanga emikono gyabwe ku balwadde ne babawonya.”
19 So the Lord Jesus after having thus spoken to them was taken up into Heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Awo Mukama waffe Yesu bwe yamala okwogera nabo, n’atwalibwa mu ggulu n’atuula ku mukono ogwa ddyo ogwa Katonda.
20 But they went out and made proclamation everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming their Message by the signs which accompanied it.]
Abayigirizwa ne bagenda buli wantu nga babuulira; era Mukama n’abeeranga nabo, n’anywezanga buli kye baayogeranga mu bubaka bwabwe, ng’abakozesanga eby’amagero.
