Luke 24
1 And, on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices they had prepared.
Am ersten Wochentage aber sehr frühe, kamen sie zu dem Grabmal, und brachten die Spezereien, die sie bereitet hatten und etliche mit ihnen.
2 But they found the stone rolled back from the tomb,
Sie fanden aber den Stein abgewälzt vom Grabmal.
3 and on entering they found that the body of the Lord Jesus was not there.
Und als sie hineingingen, fanden sie den Leib des Herrn Jesu nicht.
4 At this they were in great perplexity, when suddenly there stood by them two men whose raiment flashed like lightning.
Und es geschah, als sie darüber ratlos waren, siehe, da stunden zwei Männer bei ihnen in strahlenden Kleidern.
5 The women were terrified; but, as they stood with their faces bowed to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you search among the dead for Him who is living?
Wie sie nun erschrocken waren, und ihre Angesichter zur Erde neigten, sprachen sie zu ihnen: Was suchet ihr den Lebenden bei den Toten?
6 He is not here. He has come back to life. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,
Er ist nicht hier, sondern er ist auferweckt worden. Erinnert euch, wie er es euch sagte, als er noch in Galiläa war,
7 when He told you that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again."
Und sprach: Der Menschensohn wird überliefert werden in die Hände sündiger Menschen, und wird gekreuzigt werden, und am dritten Tage auferstehen.
8 Then they remembered His words,
Und sie erinnerten sich seiner Reden;
9 and returning from the tomb they reported all this to the Eleven and to all the rest.
Und kehrten zurück vom Grabmal, und verkündigten das alles den Elfen und allen übrigen.
10 The women were Mary of Magdala, Joanna, and Mary the mother of James; and they and the rest of the women related all this to the Apostles.
Es waren aber Maria, die Magdalenerin, und Johanna, und Maria, Jakobus (Mutter), und die übrigen mit ihnen, die sagten das den Aposteln.
11 But the whole story seemed to them an idle tale; they could not believe the women.
Und ihre Reden erschienen ihnen eben, als wäre es ein Märchen, und sie glaubten ihnen nicht.
12 Peter, however, rose and ran to the tomb. Stooping and looking in, he saw nothing but the linen cloths: so he went away to his own home, wondering at what had happened.
Petrus aber stund auf, und lief zu dem Grabmahl, und sich hinein bückend, sieht er die Binden allein liegen; und er ging heim, und verwunderte sich über das Geschehene.
13 On that same day two of the disciples were walking to Emmaus, a village seven or eight miles from Jerusalem,
Und siehe, zwei von ihnen gingen an demselbigen Tage in ein Dorf, das sechzig Stadien von Jerusalem entfernt ist, mit Namen Emmaus,
14 and were conversing about all these recent events;
Und sie unterhielten sich miteinander über alle diese Ereignisse.
15 and, in the midst of their conversation and discussion, Jesus Himself came and joined them,
Und es geschah während ihrer Unterhaltung und Unterredung, nahte sich Jesus selbst, und ging mit ihnen.
16 though they were prevented from recognizing Him.
Aber ihre Augen waren gehalten, daß sie ihn nicht erkannten.
17 "What is the subject," He asked them, "on which you are talking so earnestly, as you walk?" And they stood still, looking full of sorrow.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Was sind das für Reden, die ihr miteinander wechselt unterwegs, und seid traurig?
18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered, "Are you a stranger lodging alone in Jerusalem, that you have known nothing of the things that have lately happened in the city?"
Es antwortete aber einer, mit Namen Kleophas, und sprach zu ihm: Bist du der einzige, der sich in Jerusalem aufhält, und nicht weiß, was in diesen Tagen darinnen geschehen ist?
19 "What things?" He asked. "The things about Jesus the Nazarene," they said, "who was a Prophet powerful in work and word before God and all the people;
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was? Sie aber sagten ihm: Das von Jesus, dem Nazaräer, wie er ein Prophet war, mächtig in Tat und Wort vor Gott und dem ganzen Volk;
20 and how our High Priests and Rulers delivered Him up to be sentenced to death, and crucified Him.
Und wie ihn unsere hohen Priester und Obersten dem Todesurteil überliefert, und ihn gekreuzigt haben.
21 But we were hoping that it was He who was about to ransom Israel. Yes, and moreover it was the day before yesterday that these things happened.
Wir aber hofften, daß er es sei, der Israel erlösen soll, aber über dem allem ist heute der dritte Tag, daß solches geschehen ist.
22 And, besides, some of the women of our company have amazed us. They went to the tomb at daybreak,
Aber auch etliche Weiber von den unsrigen, haben uns außer Fassung gebracht; dieselben waren frühe am Grabmal,
23 and, finding that His body was not there, they came and declared to us that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive.
Und als sie seinen Leichnam nicht fanden, kamen sie, und sagten auch, sie hätten ein Gesicht der Engel gesehen, welche sagen, er lebe.
24 Thereupon some of our party went to the tomb and found things just as the women had said; but Jesus Himself they did not see."
Und etliche von den Unsern gingen hin zum Grabmal, und fanden es so, wie auch die Weiber gesagt hatten; ihn aber sahen sie nicht.
25 "O dull-witted men," He replied, "with minds so slow to believe all that the Prophets have spoken!
Und er sprach zu ihnen: O, ihr Toren und trägen Herzens, zu glauben allem dem, was die Propheten geredet haben;
26 Was there not a necessity for the Christ thus to suffer, and then enter into His glory?"
Mußte nicht der Messias das leiden und zu seiner Herrlichkeit eingehen?
27 And, beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the passages in Scripture which refer to Himself.
Und er fing an von Moses und allen Propheten, und legte ihnen in allen Schriften aus, was ihn betrifft.
28 When they had come near the village to which they were going, He appeared to be going further.
Und sie kamen nahe an das Dorf, wo sie hingingen; und er tat, als wolle er noch weiter gehen.
29 But they pressed Him to remain with them. "Because," said they, "it is getting towards evening, and the day is nearly over." So He went in to stay with them.
Und sie nötigten ihn, und sprachen: Bleibe bei uns, denn es ist gegen Abend, und der Tag hat sich geneigt. Und er ging hinein, bei ihnen zu bleiben.
30 But as soon as He had sat down with them, and had taken the bread and had blessed and broken it, and was handing it to them,
Und es geschah, da er mit ihnen zu Tische lag, nahm er das Brot, sprach den Segen, brach und gab es ihnen.
31 their eyes were opened and they recognized Him. But He vanished from them.
Dann wurden ihnen die Augen aufgetan, und sie erkannten ihn, und er wurde unsichtbar vor ihnen.
32 "Were not our hearts," they said to one another, "burning within us while He talked to us on the way and explained the Scriptures to us?"
Und sie sprachen zu einander: Brannte nicht unser Herz in uns, als er mit uns redete auf dem Wege, wie er uns die Schrift öffnete?
33 So they rose and without an hour's delay returned to Jerusalem, and found the Eleven and the rest met together, who said to them,
Und sie stunden auf in derselben Stunde, kehrten zurück nach Jerusalem, und fanden die Elfe versammelt, und die mit ihnen waren,
34 "Yes, it is true: the Master has come back to life. He has been seen by Simon."
Die sprachen: Der Herr ist wirklich auferweckt worden, und dem Simon erschienen.
35 Then they related what had happened on the way, and how He had been recognized by them in the breaking of the bread.
Und sie erzählten, was auf dem Weg geschehen war, und wie er von ihnen am Brotbrechen erkannt worden sei.
36 While they were thus talking, He Himself stood in their midst and said, "Peace be to you!"
Als sie aber solches redeten, da stund er selbst in ihrer Mitte, und sagte ihnen: Friede sei mit euch!
37 Startled, and in the utmost alarm, they thought they were looking at a spirit;
Sie erschraken aber, und wurden voll Furcht, und meinten, sie sähen einen Geist.
38 but He said to them, "Why such alarm? And why are there such questionings in your minds?
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was seid ihr bestürzt? und warum steigen solche Gedanken in euern Herzen auf?
39 See my hands and my feet--it is my very self. Feel me and see, for a spirit has not flesh and bones as you see I have."
Sehet meine Hände und meine Füße, denn ich bin es. Betastet mich und sehet! Denn ein Geist hat nicht Fleisch und Knochen, wie ihr sehet, daß ich habe.
40 And then He showed them His hands and His feet.
Und als er dieses sagte, zeigte er ihnen die Hände und die Füße.
41 But, while they still could not believe it for joy and were full of astonishment, He asked them, "Have you any food here?"
Als sie aber noch nicht glaubten vor Freude, und verwundert waren, sprach er zu ihnen: Habt ihr etwas zu essen hier?
42 And they gave Him a piece of roasted fish,
Sie aber gaben ihm ein Stück gebratenen Fisch und von einer Honigwabe.
43 and He took it and ate it in their presence.
Und er nahm es, und aß es vor ihnen.
44 And He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you--that everything must be fulfilled that is written in the Law of Moses and in the Prophets and the Psalms concerning me."
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Dies sind meine Worte, welche ich zu euch redete, als ich noch bei euch war, daß alles erfüllt werden muß, was im Gesetz Mosis, in den Propheten und Psalmen von mir geschrieben steht.
45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,
Dann öffnete er ihren Verstand, daß sie die Schriften verstunden,
46 and He said, "Thus it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise again from among the dead;
Und sprach zu ihnen: Also steht geschrieben, und also mußte der Messias leiden, und am dritten Tage von den Toten auferstehen,
47 and that proclamation would be made, in His name, of repentance and forgiveness of sins to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem.
Und in seinem Namen gepredigt werden Gesinnungsänderung und Vergebung der Sünden unter allen Völkern, anfangend von Jerusalem.
48 You are witnesses as to these things.
Ihr aber seid dess´ Zeugen.
49 And remember that I am about to send out my Father's promised gift to rest upon you. But, as for you, wait patiently in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."
Und siehe, ich sende die Verheißung meines Vaters auf euch; ihr aber bleibet in der Stadt, bis ihr angetan werdet mit Kraft aus den Höhen.
50 And He brought them out to within view of Bethany, and then lifted up His hands and blessed them.
Er führte sie aber hinaus bis nach Bethanien, und erhob seine Hände, und segnete sie;
51 And while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into Heaven.
Und es geschah, als er sie segnete, schied er von ihnen, und ward hinaufgetragen in den Himmel.
52 They worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
Und sie knieten vor ihm nieder und sie kehrten mit großer Freude zurück nach Jerusalem
53 Afterwards they were continually in attendance at the Temple, blessing God.
Und waren allezeit im Tempel, Gott lobend und preisend.
