John 13
1 Now just before the Feast of the Passover this incident took place. Jesus knew that the time had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father; and having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
୧ନିସ୍ତାର୍ ପରବର୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁର୍ ଦିନ୍ ଅଇରଇଲା । ଜିସୁ, ଏ ଜଗତ୍ ଚାଡି ବାବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଲଗେ ଜିବାକେ ତାର୍ ବେଲା କେଟ୍ଲାବେ ବଲି ଜାନିରଇଲା । ଦୁନିଆଇ ରଇବା ତାର୍ ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ସାରାସାରି ଜାକ ବେସି ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ତେରଇଲା ।
2 While supper was proceeding, the Devil having by this time suggested to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, the thought of betraying Him, Jesus,
୨ସେଦିନର୍ ରାତି ଜିସୁ ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ କାଇବାକେ ବସିରଇଲାଇ । ଜିସୁକେ ବିସ୍ବାସେ ବିସ୍ ଦେଲାପାରା କରାଇବା ଚିନ୍ତା, ସଇତାନ୍ ସିମନ୍ ଇସ୍କାରିୟତର୍ ପିଲା ଜିଉଦାର୍ ମନେ ପୁରିକରି ଦେଲା ।
3 although He knew that the Father had put everything into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was now going to God,
୩ବାବା ପର୍ମେସର୍, ତାକେ ସବୁ ବିସଇର୍ ଅଦିକାର୍ ଦେଇ ଆଚେ, ସେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆସିଆଚେ ଆରି ତାର୍ ଲଗେସେ ଜାଇସି, ବଲି ଜିସୁ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଜାନିରଇଲା ।
4 rose from the table, threw off His upper garments, and took a towel and tied it round Him.
୪ତେବର୍ପାଇ ସେ କାଇବା ଜାଗାଇଅନି ଉଟିକରି ଅଡି ରଇବା ବସ୍ତର୍ ବେଟି ସଙ୍ଗଇ, ଆଁଟାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ତୁଆଲ୍ ବାନ୍ଦିଅଇଲା ।
5 Then He poured water into a basin, and proceeded to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe them with the towel which He had put round Him.
୫ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ମୁତାଇ ପାନିନେଲା ଆରି ନିଜର୍ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ପାଦ୍ ଦଇକରି ବାନ୍ଦିଅଇଲା ତୁଆଲ୍ ବେଟି ପୁଚି ଦେବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା ।
6 When He came to Simon Peter, Peter objected. "Master," he said, "are you going to wash my feet?"
୬ଜେଡେବେଲେ ଜିସୁ ସିମନ୍ ପିତରର୍ ଲଗେ ଆଇଲା, ପିତର୍ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ତମେ ମର୍ ପାଦ୍ ଦଇସା କି?”
7 "What I am doing," answered Jesus, "for the present you do not know, but afterwards you shall know."
୭ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଏବେ ଜାଇଟା କଲିନି, ସେଟା ତମେ ବୁଜି ନାପାରାସ୍, ମାତର୍ ପଚେ ବୁଜ୍ସା ।”
8 "Never, while the world lasts," said Peter, "shall you wash my feet." "If I do not wash you," replied Jesus, "you have no share with me." (aiōn g165)
୮ପିତର୍ ତାକେ ମନାକରି କଇଲା, “ନିଚୁ, ତମେ ମର୍ ପାଦ୍ ଦୁଆନାଇ ।” ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଜଦି ତର୍ ପାଦ୍ ନ ଦଇଲେ, କେବେ ମିସା ମର୍ ସିସ୍ ଅଇ ନାପାରୁସ୍ ।” (aiōn g165)
9 "Master," said Peter, "wash not only my feet, but also my hands and my head."
୯ସିମନ୍ ପିତର୍ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ସେନ୍ତାର୍ଆଲେ କାଇକେ ମର୍ ପାଦ୍ସେ ଦଇ ଦେଇସୁ? ମର୍ ମୁଣ୍ଡ୍ ଆରି ଆତ୍ ମିସା ଦଇଦିଆସ୍ ।”
10 "Any one who has lately bathed," said Jesus, "does not need to wash more than his feet, but is clean all over. And you my disciples are clean, and yet this is not true of all of you."
୧୦ଜିସୁ ପିତର୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଗାଦଇ ସାରିଆଚତ୍, ସେମନ୍ ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ । ପାଦ୍ ଦଇବାଟା ଚାଡି, କାଇଟା ଦଇବାର୍ ଲଡାନାଇ । ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଚାଡି, ତମେ ସବୁଲକ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆଚାସ୍ ।”
11 For He knew who was betraying Him, and that was why He said, "You are not all of you clean."
୧୧କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଜନ୍ ସିସ୍ ଜିସୁକେ ସତ୍ରୁମନ୍କେ ଦାରାଇଦେଇସି ତାକେ ଜିସୁ ଜାନି ରଇଲା । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଚାଡି ସବୁଲକ୍ ସୁକଲ୍ ଆଚାସ୍ ବଲି କଇଲା ।
12 So after He had washed their feet, put on His garments again, and returned to the table, He said to them, "Do you understand what I have done to you?
୧୨ଜିସୁ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ପାଦ୍ ଦଇଲା ପଚେ ବେଟିରଇଲା ବସ୍ତର୍ ପିନ୍ଦିକରି ବସି ସେମନ୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ଏବେ ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ପାଇ କଲା କାମ୍ ବୁଜ୍ଲାସ୍ନି କି?”
13 You call me 'The Rabbi' and 'The Master,' and rightly so, for such I am.
୧୩ଆରି ସେ କଇଲା, “ତମେ ମକେ ଗୁରୁ ଆରି ମାପ୍ରୁ ବଲି ଡାକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି, ସେଟା ଟିକ୍ସେ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଗୁରୁ ଆରି ମାପ୍ରୁ ମୁଇସେ ।”
14 If I then, your Master and Rabbi, have washed your feet, it is also your duty to wash one another's feet.
୧୪ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ଗୁରୁ ଆରି ମାପ୍ରୁ ଅଇକରି, ତମର୍ ପାଦ୍ ଦଇଦେଲି ଆଚି ବଇଲେ ତମେ ମିସା ତମର୍ ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ପାଦ୍ ଦଇବାର୍ ଆଚେ ।
15 For I have set you an example in order that you may do what I have done to you.
୧୫ମୁଇ ଏଟା ତମର୍ ପାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଉଦାଅରଣ୍ ପାରା କଲିଆଚି, ତମେ ମିସା ବିନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଏନ୍ତି କରା ।
16 In most solemn truth I tell you that a servant is not superior to his master, nor is a messenger superior to him who sent him.
୧୬ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କାତା କଇଲିନି, ଗତିଦାଙ୍ଗ୍ଡା ନିଜର୍ ସାଉକାରର୍ ତେଇଅନି ବଡ୍ ନଏଁ । ଆରି କବର୍ ନେଉଁ କବର୍ ପାଟାଇଲା ଲକର୍ତେଇଅନି ବଡ୍ ନଏଁ ।
17 If you know all this, blessed are you if you act accordingly.
୧୭ଜଦି ତମେ ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇ ଜାନିଆଚାସ୍, ଆରି ସେ ଇସାବେ କର୍ସା ବଇଲେ ବେସି ସାର୍ଦା ଅଇସା ।
18 I am not speaking of all of you. I know whom I have chosen, but things are as they are in order that the Scripture may be fulfilled, which says, 'He who eats my bread has lifted up his heel against me.'
୧୮ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ସବୁ ଲକର୍ ବିସଇ ନେଇକରି କଇନାଇ, ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବାଚି ଆଚି, ସେମନ୍ କେନ୍ତି ବଲି ଜାନିଆଚି । ମାତର୍ ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା କାତା ସିଦ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ଏନ୍ତି ଗଟ୍ନା ଅଇଲାନି । ସାସ୍ତରେ ଲେକା ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ଜେ ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଇଲାନି ସେ ମର୍ ବିରଦେ ଉଟ୍ସି ।
19 From this time forward I tell you things before they happen, in order that when they do happen you may believe that I am He.
୧୯ଏବେ ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ଅଇବା ଆଗ୍ତୁସେ ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ଏ କାତା କଇଲିନି । ଜେଡେବେଲା ଏ ଗଟ୍ନା ଗଟ୍ସି, ତମେ ମୁଇ ମସିଅ ବଲି ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ସା ।
20 In most solemn truth I tell you that he who receives whoever I send receives me, and that he who receives me receives Him who sent me."
୨୦“ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କାତା କଇଲିନି, ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ମର୍ କବର୍ ନେବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ନାମ୍ବାଇ, ସେମନ୍ ମକେ ମିସା ନାମ୍ବାଇ, ଆରି ମକେ ପାଟାଇଲା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ମିସା ନାମ୍ବାଇ ।”
21 After speaking thus Jesus was troubled in spirit and said with deep earnestness, "In most solemn truth I tell you that one of you will betray me."
୨୧ଜିସୁ ଏ ସବୁ କାତା କଇସାରାଇଲା ପଚେ, ଆତ୍ମାଇ ବାୟାବିକଲ୍ ଅଇ ପୁଟ୍କାର୍ କରି କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ସତ୍ କାତା କଇଲିନି, ତମର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ମକେ ବିସ୍ବାସେ ବିସ୍ ଦେଲାପାରା କର୍ସି ।”
22 The disciples began looking at one another, at a loss to know to which of them He was referring.
୨୨ସେ ଏ କାତା, କାର୍ ବିସଇ ନେଇକରି କଇଲାନି ବଲି ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ବୁଜିନାପାରି ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆର୍ ମୁଏ ସେ ତାର୍ ମୁଏ ଏ, ଦେକାଦେକି ଅଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲାଇ ।
23 There was at table one of His disciples--the one Jesus loved-- reclining with his head on Jesus's bosom.
୨୩ଜିସୁର୍ ସିସ୍ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ଜଅନ୍, ଜାକେକି ଜିସୁ ମୁକିଅ ଇସାବେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ତେ ରଇଲା, ସେ ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ବସିକରି କାଇତେ ରଇଲା ।
24 Making a sign therefore to him, Simon Peter said, "Tell us to whom he is referring."
୨୪ସିମନ୍ ପିତର୍ ଜଅନ୍କେ ସଗିଆ କରି କଇଲା, “ସେ କାର୍ ବିସଇ ନେଇକରି କଇଲାନି, ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ ।”
25 So he, having his head on Jesus's bosom, leaned back and asked, "Master, who is it?"
୨୫ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଜଅନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ଆଉଜି ଅଇକରି ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ଏ ମାପ୍ରୁ, ସେ ଲକ୍ କେ?”
26 "It is the one," answered Jesus, "for whom I shall dip this piece of bread and to whom I shall give it." Accordingly He dipped the piece of bread, and took it and gave it to Judas, the son of the Iscariot Simon.
୨୬ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଏ ରୁଟି ଜଲେ ଚବାଲି ଜାକେ ଦେବି, ସେ ଲକ୍ ସେ ।” ସେବେଲେ ସେ ରୁଟି ଜଲେ ଚବାଲି କରି ସିମନ୍ ଇସ୍କାରିୟତର୍ ପିଲା ଜିଉଦାକେ ଦେଲା ।
27 Then, after Judas had received the piece of bread, Satan entered into him. "Lose no time about it," said Jesus to him.
୨୭ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦା ରୁଟି ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ସଇତାନ୍ ତାର୍ ମନ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜାଇକରି ଚାଲାଇବାର୍ ଦାର୍ଲା । ଜିସୁ ସେ ବେଲାଇ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ ଜାଇଟା କର୍ବାକେ ଗାଲୁସ୍ନି ବେଗି କର୍ ।”
28 But why He said this no one else at the table understood.
୨୮ଜିସୁ ଏ କାତା ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦାକେ କାଇକେ କଇଲା, ତେଇ କାଇବାକେ ବସି ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି କେମିସା, ବୁଜି ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ ।
29 Some, however, supposed that because Judas had the money-box Jesus meant, "Buy what we require for the Festival," or that he should give something to the poor.
୨୯ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦାର୍ ଲଗେ ଡାବୁ ପେଡି ରଇଲାଜେ କେତେଟା ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ପରବ୍ ପାଇ କାଇକାଇଟା ଦର୍କାର୍ ଆଚେ, ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ନଇଲେ ଗରିବ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦାନ୍ଦେବାକେ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲାଆଚେ ।”
30 So Judas took the piece of bread and immediately went out. And it was night.
୩୦ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ ଜିଉଦା ରୁଟି ମାଙ୍ଗି ଦାପ୍ରେ ବାରଇକରି ଉଟିଗାଲା । ସେ ବେଲେ ରାତି ଅଇରଇଲା ।
31 So when he was gone out, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in Him.
୩୧ଇସ୍କାରିୟତ୍ ଜିଉଦା ବାରଇକରି ଉଟିଗାଲା ପଚେ ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଏବେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ତେଇଅନି ଆଇଲା ନର୍ପିଲା ମୁଇ ତାର୍ଟାନେଅନି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ପାଇବା ବେଲା ଆସିଆଚେ । ଆରି ମର୍ ଲାଗି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମିସା ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ପାଇସି ।
32 Moreover God will glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him without delay.
୩୨ଜଦି ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମର୍ତେଇଅନି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ଅଇଲେ, ନିଜର୍ ମଇମାସଙ୍ଗ୍ ନର୍ପିଲା ମକେ ମିସା ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା କରାଇସି । ଦାପ୍ରେସେ ମକେ ସେନ୍ତି କରାଇସି ।
33 Dear children, I am still with you a little longer. You will seek me, but, as I said to the Jews, 'Where I am going you cannot come,' so for the present I say to you.
୩୩ଏ ମର୍ ପିଲାମନ୍ ମୁଇ ତମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଚନେକର୍ପାଇ ରଇବି । ତାର୍ ପଚେ ତମେ ମକେ କଜ୍ସା, ଆରି ମୁଇ ଜନ୍ତି ଗାଲିନି ତମେ ତେଇ ଜାଇନାପାରାସ୍ । ଏ ବିସଇ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍କେ ଜେନ୍ତି କଇରଇଲି, ସେନ୍ତି ଏବେ ତମ୍କେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ କଇଲିନି ।
34 A new commandment I give you, to love one another; that as I have loved you, you also may love one another.
୩୪ମୁଇ ତମ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ ନୁଆ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲିନି, ତମେ ତମର୍ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କରା । ମୁଇ ଜେନ୍ତି ତମ୍କେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କଲିଆଚି, ତମେ ମିସା ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆଲାଦ୍ କର୍ବାର୍ଆଚେ ।
35 It is by this that every one will know that you are my disciples--if you love one another."
୩୫ତମର୍ ନିଜର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆଲାଦ୍ ରଇଲେ, ତମେ ମର୍ ସିସ୍ ବଲି ସବୁଲକ୍ ଜାନ୍ବାଇ ।”
36 "Master," inquired Simon Peter, "where are you going?" "Where I am going," replied Jesus, "you cannot be my follower now, but you shall be later."
୩୬ସିମନ୍ ପିତର୍ ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ଏ ମାପ୍ରୁ ତମେ କନ୍ତି ଗାଲାସ୍ନି?” ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଜନ୍ତି ଗାଲିନି ସେ ଜାଗାଇ ଏବେ ତୁଇ ଆସି ନାପାରୁସ୍ ମାତର୍ ପଚେ ଆଇସୁ ।”
37 "Master," asked Peter again, "why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life on your behalf.
୩୭ପିତର୍ ଜିସୁକେ କଇଲା, “ଏ ମାପ୍ରୁ ଏବେ କାଇକେ ତମର୍ ପଚେ ପଚେ ଆସିନାପାରି? ମୁଇ ତମର୍ପାଇ ମର୍ବାକେ ମିସା ରାଜିଆଚି ।”
38 "You say you will lay down your life on my behalf!" said Jesus; "in most solemn truth I tell you that the cock will not crow before you have three times disowned me."
୩୮ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ କାଇକେ ମର୍ପାଇ ମର୍ସୁ? ମୁଇ ତକେ ସତ୍ କାତା କଇଲିନି କୁକୁଡା ନ ଡାକ୍ତେ ତୁଇ ମକେ ତିନ୍ ତର୍ ନାଜାନି ବଲି କଇସୁ ।”
