< James 4 >

1 What causes wars and contentions among you? Is it not the cravings which are ever at war within you for various pleasures?
Nençene şos cuvabılqa abıy eyxhe, nya'a şoqa aldapxhın-g'adapxhıniybı eyxhe? Nya'a, man şu abğançe oodane xuruşbışike dişde vod?
2 You covet things and yet cannot get them; you commit murder; you have passionate desires and yet cannot gain your end; you begin to fight and make war. You have not, because you do not pray;
Şos hucoomecad ıkkanang'a, şosse man xılel qa'as dəxəmee, şu insan gek'a. Şu paxılıyvalla haa'a şos hucoomecad ıkkanmee, man kar xılel qa'as dəxəmeeyid, uğoodanbı. Şu Allahıke hideqqava, şoqa man kar deş.
3 or you pray and yet do not receive, because you pray wrongly, your object being to waste what you get on some pleasure or another.
Şu man heqqanıd, şos heled deş. Şu man vuşde kefıke, pisde işbışis heqqava hidele.
4 You unfaithful women, do you not know that friendship with the world means enmity to God? Therefore whoever is bent on being friendly with the world makes himself an enemy to God.
Allahne yəqqı'le qıkkepç'ıynbı! Şok'le ats'a dişde, ine dyunyeykana hambaziyvalla, Allahıkana duşmaniyvalla vobna? İne dyunyeyka hambaziyvalla haa'as vukkanang'vee, cuke Allahıs duşman ha'a.
5 Or do you suppose that it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "The Spirit which He has caused to dwell in our hearts yearns jealously over us"?
Sayid şosqa həməxüdmede qöö, Muq'addasne Otk'unee həməxüdcadme otk'un: «Nya'a Allahee dişde, şas rı'h huvu? Mang'us şi vukkan vuxhal-alla, Mana öörəxə deş şi Cule ğayrı merıng'us ı'bəədat ha'amee».
6 But He gives more abundant grace, as is implied in His saying, "God sets Himself against the haughty, but to the lowly He gives grace."
Mang'vee şas mançile hexxanab yugvalla haa'ana. Mançil-allad Muq'addasne Otk'unee inəxüd eyhe: «Allahee cocab co axtıba vukkekkanbışda yəq q'ats'aak'van, Cocab co axtıba vukdekkanbışismee Cuna yugvalla haagva».
7 Submit therefore to God: resist the Devil, and he will flee from you.
Mançil-allab Allahee eyhençiqa gyuv'ur-oza qeepxhe, iblisis ıkkanan hıma'a, manke iblisıd şoke hixvasın.
8 Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you who are half-hearted towards God.
Allahıs k'ane qeepxhe, manke Manar şos k'ane qixhes. Bınahnanbı, xıleppı hoğle, Allahne yəqqı'l it'umba ulydobzuriynbı vuşun yik'bı mətte'e.
9 Afflict yourselves and mourn and weep aloud; let your laughter be turned into grief, and your gladness into shame.
Aq'vabı qe'e, ak' avqe, gyaaşe! Hasre vuşun əqəna gyaaşuylqa, şadvallab derdılqa savk'lecen.
10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
Rəbbine ögil haaq'vre, Mang'veeyib şu axtı qaa'as.
11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. The man who speaks evil of a brother-man or judges his brother-man speaks evil of the Law and judges the Law. But if you judge the Law, you are no longer one who obeys the Law, but one who judges it.
Çocar, sana-sang'une hək'ee pisın immeyhe. Şavaayiy çocune hək'ee pisın eyhe, şavaayiy çoculena haa'a, məxrıng'vee Q'aanunub pis haa'a. İnsanee Q'aanunulena haa'axhe, mana Q'aanunun eyhen ha'ana deş, mançina haakim eyxhe.
12 The only real Lawgiver and Judge is He who is able to save or to destroy. Who are you to sit in judgement on your fellow man?
Q'aanun Huvunar, Haakimır sa Allah vorna, gyapt'asıb g'attivxhan haa'asıb vəəxəna saccu Mana vor. Ğu vuşuna eyxhe, yiğne k'anerıng'us ğucar vake haakim haa'a?
13 Come, you who say, "To-day or to-morrow we will go to this or that city, and spend a year there and carry on a successful business,"
Həşde məxüd eyhenbışe k'ırı alixhxhecen: «G'iynayee, g'iyqayee şi sa neneme şahareeqa hapk'ın, maa sa senna avxu, kar alişşu massa huvu, pıl ha'as».
14 when, all the while, you do not even know what will happen to-morrow. For what is the nature of your life? Why, it is but a mist, which appears for a short time and then is seen no more.
Mançilqa axvee, şok'le g'iyqa vuk'lelqa hucoome qales ats'ad deş. Yişda ı'mı'r hucoo eyxhen karne? Sık'ınna gahna g'ecene, qiyğad ayk'anne booğak akar.
15 Instead of that you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we shall live and do this or that."
Mançilesa şu eyhe: «Rəbbis ıkkiykınee, hidyapt'ı avxvee, manayee, mebnayee iş haa'a».
16 But, as the case stands, it is in mere self-confidence that you boast: all such boasting is evil.
Həşdemee şu, gırgın vuşde xıledın xhinne, gırgın şosse əxən xhinne yuşan haa'a. Məxüb yuşan hav'uy qotkuda deş vod.
17 If, however, a man knows what it is right to do and yet does not do it, he commits a sin.
Şavuk'leyiy vucee yugun ha'as ıkkanva ats'a, yicıd hidya'a, məxrıng'vee bınah haa'a.
